Pulte does not pay attention to detail, and obviously doesn't care about their customer anymore and the finished product. We were given the wrong keys at closing and had to use the garage door to enter and exit for five days while they searched for the correct keys. The compressor was undersized and froze up the day before close and was replaced with the almost lowest seer unit allowed by law that they could find on a moment’s notice. It's extremely loud, vibrates and sounds like the fan is going to sheer off when it shuts off. If it had frozen up after close, we'd probably still be waiting ...

Horrible buying experience

This entire experience has been horrible and I wish I never purchased my home from Pulte. Not only was there delay after delay, The sales person was disappointing, I went through three construction managers and I am fighting to get items fixed. I’m passed from person to person, don’t get correct information, trades don’t show, the wrong trades come, and documentation is not submitted correctly. I do have a very complicated schedule as I travel and the one positive has been that if I had to travel and trades were scheduled, they did reschedule quickly. Home looked good on paper, demo house was good as well. After signing trouble began. During build there was a lack of initial contact, got however changed by Raul, sales guy and Steve our build foreman. No changes could be done to house and promises of a water loop got forgotten and I had to pay out of pocket. Build quality is what can pass the code inspections plus lots warranty issues. Screen windows was broken, garage floor cracked, GFCI wiring done wrong, HVAC thermostats misaligned, paint marks everywhere and on everything. I bought a quick move in home that was already half way completed when I got it. It took two months for the builder to complete the home and during that process I did not receive much updates on the progress. The day of closing they were still trying to rush finishing the home and installing things like windows or doors. Not Content As Ine Should Be With A New House

I was so happy when I decided to buy a new build. However, this happiness was completely lost when I moved in. Quality of materials used is below even apartment grade. Example, the garbage disposal won’t even break down a piece of fruit. The paint job seems like a 12 y/o did it. We live in an area with many options for builders and we chose Pulte because of the salesman. He will ignore you after you close. He/ Pulte will push you to close before your house is complete, then persuade you that small issues can be fixed later under Warranty. Much of my street share the same complaint about this builder. They will send their mafioso warranty guy who will deny everything but the most obvious repairs needed. Even then, our "project manager" denied flooding around the house is a problem. Cheap quality and terrible work on hvac!

Sellers agent was shady and Didn’t want to negotiate the price even when appraisal came back lower than listing price. One month after closing, ac started acting up. Got dragged around to get service done. This company only hired cheap subcontractor do do the work. This company does not respond to warranty concerns in an appropriate manner if any response at all, does not care about the buyer, does not address buyers concerns, treats you with ultimate disrespect, allows substandard workmanship with the promise of correction without action, picks and chooses who they make allowances for based on personal preference, and while the list could go on and on there is not enough space here. Absolutely the worst experience with a builder we have ever experienced.

Very very bad experience, don’t trust pulte. Had multiple issues through out the process but they don’t have time to fix it as they are very busy with other customers and don’t care about old customers. I made a bad choice building my dream home with pulte, please don’t do what I did. We built our house once in lifetime and they don’t care once they get the money.

This my third new home. I was told this is a great builder with quality homes. DON’T YOU BELIEVE THEM. I tried to get my $15,000 dollars back and move on, but no, they told me even though we said we will have your house ready but did not, we normally don’t do this but pick another house. If I knew what I know now I would’ve chose other house company to deal with or neighborhood for that matter. They don’t care about their buyers, only the money they can get. Now that I live in this house, I’ve seen a lot of half done job, cut a lot of comers, and just covered their crappy workmanship. Very disappointing. 0 star!!!

Pulte used to be an elite builder. Now they have lessened to cheap materials and 'don't call me, I'll call you' customer service. You wouldn't expect to see the following in a Pulte home based on it's advertising confidence: flat paint (even in wet areas); missed painted areas; door strikes carved with a pocket knife; crooked doors; missing tile; unsealed windows; not following floor plans, and more. - Built by cheap materials - Home design options were very cheap even after paying for the upgrades. It was better to receive the home with default design and install later. Particularly, I don't recommend buying appliances with Pulte. One can buy it from Home Depot for almost a half price. Worst build quality and refusal to fix anything

It is astonishing that after paying over $1,000,000.00 for a home, the amount of issues present at closing and their refusal to fix those issues presents itself. They consistently try to NOT FIX anything or give excuses as to the existence of those problems. They spend more time trying to explain away problems that are fairly easy to fix.

Artifical hype, slow or no response

Bad architecture overall, bad location choices hvac and heater in base ment, fridge location in kitchen etc., just to save their construction money, they realize limited lots to create artifical demand and increase price, very limted designer choice and its a lot if every chnage. Make scene every time you request for small changes, after closing, if we find any issues they mention it either too small or does not seems to be issue, we will fix when we have 9 months walk through. Substandard grass which require too much maintenance and bad garden plant choices. Overall not satisfied
