I was expecting more in the finished product with Pulte. Maybe it is related to the subcontractors in our community, maybe the process. We still have unfinished punch out work that is yet to be completed after 90 days post closing. Moreover, I have 2 cabbage/Sabal palm trees that have died and was told that Pulte does not warranty landscape trees/scrubs nor does the company that installed them. The trees should have lasted more than 90 days. Very disappointed in their answer to a defective tree.

I brought up a concern that my inspector had to the PM and he said it was not a concern. Well it turned into a leak and mold issue. Had he been present during the actual inspection I think my inspector and him would have resolved this issue. Or in the very least when I met with him a few days later not been so dismissive of everything the inspector mentioned to me. The crazy thing is when the HVAC guys showed to fix the leak, they said they informed Pulte of the same issue that my inspector mentioned, a few months back when they were on sight before I closed on the home. Cannot trust the quality of Pulte homes and the service

What i feel is there is no QC or oversight after the contractors working on different parts of the home and the owner is responsible to find out those in 1 hour of walk through. This should not be the case for brand new homes, the bath tub was damaged, sink had scratches, the cabinet doors are rattling, wood flooring is chipped and stripped, brand new garage door opener making more noise then my previous 20 year old house, the weather strip on the garage door opener is stripped. Absolutely not satisfied and utterly disappointed with the Sales team, build materials and consistency of quality throughout the community. The cabinets chip, nails protrude all over the carpet, incorrect granite or I must say no guidance on how the granite looks if we chose one. We never got our pre-construction meeting. Our neighbors have all the upgrades they wanted as they went one sales team member, when we asked for upgrades we were given a take it or leave it attitude. From start to finish, our experience with Pulte was great. We have been well taken care of, lots of open communication and celebration, and even after our build was complete & moved in, we have been well taken care of on anything that has arisen in a timely fashion. Our experience with Pulte has been very positive from the very beginning to completion and moving in to our new home. Just a very few small issues needed to be taken care of, and the Pulte Warranty handled them very quickly.

If I had not stopped at the construction site every week, many things would not have been fixed until it was too late. Plumbing in the wrong place. Air conditioner pad in the wrong place. Electrical disconnect and service outlet for A/C in the wrong place. Contractors smoking in the house. Shower stall glass in master bathroom not caulked. Terrible customer service after move in

We have been moved in since March 23rd and have had issue after issue that has gone unresolved. Pulte hasn’t sent us any help besides a few emails. In my opinion we shouldn’t even be paying the mortgage if none of our warranty or services are not being upheld.

I titled this because they have been responsive and do great work when an issue has been identified. When the job is left to those who you can tell are clearly capable like Tim, Larry, and Jim there have been minimal issues. Tim has done several repairs in our house and has been very positive. Purchase my home 43 days ago and i'm still waiting on maintenance issues to be completed. AT&T could not connect my internet because the holes they run the cables through are clogged up. Pulte has no urgency to fix issues once you have closed on your home. If things are not fixed or I am not contacted soon I will be making my 2nd BBB complaint. If I paid for a brand new home regardless the price I do not want to deal with issues right after closing.

Pulte Homes builds beautiful, functional and comfortable homes, with a keen sense of detail and convenience to everyday living. They are fast, reliable, attentive and very professional. I've had only two minor issues in my home in the 6 weeks since move in, and they addressed immediately. The Field Manager, Malcolm, is a consummate professional, as well as friendly and personable. I was the PM for essentially the entire project build. I was forced into the house saying if I didn’t close, I may not get the house for a while blaming COVID. The trades rushed to get the job complete and botched everything. I’ve been in the house only 2 months and I’ve had EVERY trade come out, at least once, for one reason or another: - Forgot security system entirely - Botched entire electric plan and wasn’t caught until I said something right before drywall (delayed the project weeks) - Had to regrade about 60% of lawn due to sitting water and lack in grading - Chipped tile - Bathroom ...
