Poor workmanship

Very well designed and functional. The only thing is that the workmanship is very poorly done, not professional workers. The paint inside is horrible, spot missing on wall, paint on the rugs, doors are so rough you can’t wash them. The grass was put on top of the sprinklers we had to dig them out. We spoke with neighbors in the community and they told us they had similar problems. For the price of these home I expected more quality work done.

Enjoying our Pulte Canopy

We really like our new Canopy home. This is our second Pulte home and so we knew overall we would be very happy. I could not give 5 stars for the quality of workmanship and materials but it was only in two areas - drywall and painting. I believe Pulte will do the right thing to try and correct our painting concerns but it is too late for the drywall. Please know it is not terrible - just not as great as our past experience.

We love our home, but we quickly found out that some things were looked over by Pulte. Our counters, which were suppose to be sealed, did not get sealed and we found out the hard way with stains sinking into our granite and unable to come out. Also they covered up our water softner drain, so when someone came to install, we couldnt finish because the drain is no where to be found. We've reached out, and we know due to covid we were on a waitlist, but its now into June and we have had no call back to get an appointment set up to fix these issues. Pulte is a volume builder/developer. Consequently, the sales and build departments don't always have time to communicate fully the realities of the delivered product verses the promised product. The end product can come close to your expectations if you help manage and track the process.

Most of major structure and design is good as I expected and the quality is great as their reputation. Just a few minor thing need to be straight out quickly. And the responsiveness to issues need to be handle quicker and timely

Any time I call for resolution of a problem or issue with Pulte, I can count on a very delayed response. Customer service is a thing of the past, and Pulte is a prime example of that lack of caring.

Pulte has a good reputation to be a good home builder. After coming into the house there was a few worksmanship issues that I had to fix such as paint on the floor not cleaned up, lots of gaps in moulding that you will have caulk yourself. overall its a good company but I really wish they progress more into eco friendly material as closed cell foam instead of loose white fluff, more premium standard materials and maybe be have solar energy standard accross any community they build instead of have legislation forcing them too. Conclusion its a good buy for people on a budget.

I would say the overall quality & service is good, although it's not as perfect as themselves claimed. My new house has a broken hole on the drywall on a not so noticeable corner, and one of my bathroom blinds as a part of the paid package, is askew severely. For the hole, I personally didn't find it during the "house quality celebration" before close, and for the blinds, they installed a portion of them after "house quality celebration", which makes me have to go through customer service and wait for some extra time. Pulte was the worst experience ever from the time we started to the time we closed. The communication throughout the entire process was horrible. The only ones who were great was the design center. Our person who was in charge of the house during the process of it being built was Jackson. He failed many times at communicating things to us, fixing issues we had and staying on top of the workers. A couple of times when we came by during the build the workers had their children while bricking our house and then the end result of the brick on our house is now being fixed after being fixed 3 times ...

The Pulte salesperson separated from Pulte just after I signed the purchase agreement in January. I was not able to do a walk-through to view the construction progress. I did a walk through the morning of the closing in mid-March and everything looked okay except for a few missing upgrades that the sales rep had verbally promised. The governor issued a Covid 19 "stay-at-home" order so no repairs can be addressed at this time. The essentials are working fine... HVAC, electricity, plumbing, water... My repair list is long but does not include any major concerns. I've purchased and added ...

I was not pleased with my Pulte home. Upon my moving in the air conditioning unit completely malfunction and I had to air for many hours on my move in date, not to mention water dripping from my master closet. I also experience electrical issues, where my main line was cut and I was without power for over 5 days. This has not been a great experience at all!

I need things repaired. My shower door is literally, falling off and is cracked. It’s been two months and no one has even scheduled. There are other issues too but this is an emergency and the builder doesn’t seem to care.
