Pros: Overall layout and style is nice, good selection of upgrades Cons: Pandemic delays (our house took 16 months from initial deposit), low-quality subcontractors (lack of attention to detail, fit and finish), lack of quality control (we had to be the ones to catch quality issues at closing, resulting in many fixes after "close" and additional months-long delays), lack of communication and coordination across Pulte construction, mortgage, etc (we did a lot of work chasing down closing details) Overall: We're happy in our new home, but worry about what corners were cut that we didn't catch

I haven’t reported issues, yet. I am on the first floor with what I was told single hung windows and I am freezing. Blinds and shades didn’t help much. I don’t understand vents in the ceiling when everyone knows heat rises. I wish with all my heart I could write you a great review.

Lack of professionalism from upper level management

This is our dream home, however there were many issues with house. It took over 2 months for our house to start construction and when it started it went down. First they laid the wrong foundation. We were supposed to get a raised slab and we didn’t. When we questioned it, it took some time to figure it out. So while that was happening our wood for framing sat in the rain and got mold on it. Not at all satisfied with the quality and workmanship of the house. The outside patio/deck slope/gradient does not allow rainwater to flow out, this causes stagnant water on the patio, which could produce mold. The front concrete/cement is breaking. The worst and fearful thing is that the upper portion of the house shakes when we run the washer and dryer. The hardwood floor is chipping off. The gutter from roof was broken at the time of closing. Difficult to get direct answers

If you have questions about the building of your home this is not the builder for you. There doesn't seem to be any upper management and no escalation process when there is an issue. Everyone goes silent. The finish work is poor.

Ovan was not working from 27 Nov 2021. It was replaced on 28 Dec 21. Paint was wrong whole house. Hot water we are getting milky as of today. Replace hot water but still getting milky water

First day move-in to new home, electrical issues

First day moving into a new home we found out HVAC system was turned off due to bad circuit breaker and this is during peak winter. Also found door bell does not work. This is bad I did not expect this from Pulte builders. I dont know what else I will find out more in the future. I think quality of materials worsened.

This was not our first experience with new construction which is why we do appreciate that our home was well built. But the demeaning manner in which Pulte treats its customers is appalling. They can delay, delay, delay and lie about the reasons but fine you $500 a day if you can't make the closing date they finally are willing to show up to. Post-sale, the responsiveness to repair issues has been inconsistent. Problems that they have addressed were properly resolved. But there is little communication on open items

Unreliable and unrealistic

From start to finish we encountered numerous problems. Most being the lack in quality of workmanship. It’s a shame a home owner has to point out problems multiple times and almost harass the company to get anything done. Then when it is done, it still isn’t done properly and we have to once again make a point to show their imperfections. As I understand we are still living through a pandemic and will continue to be for a while now, the excuses we’re getting old and frustrating.

The whole process with pulte has been a struggle from the get go, there was a lack of communication throughout the process and many questions that we asked to get answered that were not. After moving in we have had many issues with the home just within the first month and as of now the value of the home we paid for does not seem to match the quality expected.

I know things are tough with supplies and getting qualified workers, but communication is very poor. Many things still need touched up/fixed after closing and the response is very slow. We were informed our home would take 6-8 months and it took 12. We were delighted when we knew Pulte was the builder for our new home, but ended up being disappointed

For the price we paid for our home, I would have expected better quality workmanship. We have needed to have several things corrected that resulted from shoddy work, such as crooked mirror, installation of damaged window casing, replacement of damaged or defective cabinet doors. The cabinets are not great quality, and we paid a premium for the convenience package. The touch up paint the painters used (and what was left for us) does not match exactly, so it stands out. It takes forever to get hot water to most of the house, so plumbing design is an issue. HVAC design is poor as well. The floor ...

House quality is not good as my expect

The painting is bad, lots of spot are not fixed although I taped them and showed to the Filed Manager; Over 10 walls are not vertical, most of the trims are curved not straight.

We will be ok in the end.. but...

was told that all the lots were at least 3K square feet. that was a marketing lie at worst, an honest but negligent oversight at best. Once i found out it wasn't, I was not allowed to cancel my down payment even though it was a few days later. Also, fortunately for me, there is a 1 year warranty because there were lots of things that were not QCed well before turning over to me (however, it does take away my time, which i do not appreciate). also there are some ongoing design flaws i am dealing with- such as repeat flooding in my garbage can area.

The home was delivered to me very dirty, windows improperly installed. The tracks of the sliding glass doors were so filthy, it took me six hours to clean. The frame of one slider was bent and still is bent.

Check everything and make them properly clean the property. A new home should not be turned over to the buyer in bad condition.
