Pulte May be the leading builder in the nation but the experience in building the house and the quality they deliver is poor. I felt I paid premium price and got a not impressive product. It took them way longer than they originally committed to complete the build but every time the date was revised that slipped again. Everything was blamed on supply chain delays. Overall I give you a D. You just want to sell homes. The home we purchased had several issues. We had the hardest time getting these concerns addressed. Some of your employees just don’t bother answering their phone calls/texts or returning either. Your mortgage/title, and insurance company is a joke. The incompetence was staggering. Not sure why I bothered with this as corporate greed has taken over. Nothing will change.

The buying experience was alright, we were disappointed in our inability to select options in our home that were pre selected by the builder. This required us to pay extra for features we would not have chosen and to forgo completion of additional features we would have included. Extremely disappointed in the quality of workmanship. I wasn't expecting this type of experience because of how highly Pulte is recommended and for the price that was paid for the home. Quality of workmen ship and materials used were not even up-to the mark. Construction managers had no control on the contractors. They just do things on their own. Do not close on the house if there are any issues because it is impossible to get them fixed. A lot of promises and no action. Poor quality of workmanship. The build process was a joke with a delay at every turn and everything blamed on COVID, but the same model house in the same neighborhood moving faster than others and then you're told "well that's a different elevation". If you complain about the delays your construction super would say "well you could be like this house who's been delayed for # months." Let's start with closing... Closing on our new build was originally 30 June. When going through a walkthrough (blue tape), there were a lot of issues that needed fixing. Building Manager pushed it out 2 weeks to get everything A-OK. Come Wednesday July 13, repairs were being made but still needed to have some things fixed. Building manager said that these repairs would be completed "for sure by Thursday". No one would return our phone calls or answer any questions about the system. Also, they left multiple items on unfinished on our home after close, and Pulte has not been responsive in fixing 30 days after close. There is no way to follow up and no one responds to warranty. This has been the worst experience that I have had with any builder. The site manager is overwork and I feel for him and his upper management team don’t care they just want the house close with a lot of open issues that are not done. A lot of people have open issues in my development that are still open and it’s taking them for ever to get it fix.
