I would never recommend this builder based on quality of work and I would never suggest using their finance group.

This was a horrible experience

Pulte did a horrible job with the drywall in multiple places. It looks like the home is 20 years old instead of a new build. Pulte damaged my floors and I had to argue for over a week to get them replaced. After temporarily moving out while they fixed the floors, I returned to find glue all over the floor and the floor had bulked up in the kitchen. It was also not level in other places. It’s been 3 weeks and they have still not come back to repair the floor. The steps were also damaged by Pulte and they still haven’t repaired those either. The list goes on and on. From the mortgage to still trying to get multiple poor quality and craftsmanship issues fixed, it’s been a nightmare. House should have never passed inspection with all the issues. The original “foreman” left to take another position so I guess he didn’t care. The new boss Don has inherited his problems and is trying his best. If this was custom built with conventional construction loans, they would never get the 20% hold “punch list” payment. No wonder Pulte does business this way.

This is the worst quality of the house that I have ever bought. There have been issues all over the house. For the first day we moved in (Friday), I used the master bath shower and turned on the water handle, the handle got popped out and strong water stream almost killed me. We have to turn off the main water control and could not live in the house over the weekend due to no water. Until next Monday, the plumber came to fix the problem. The reason for causing this issue was your plumber forgot to put in the pin to lock the water handle. What a big joke it is. Then many other issues came up ...

So many thing wrong with the house that still need to be fixed. Original it was the cut line of the toilet drain that forced the ceiling wall and floors to be replaced twice. Front porch with foot prints in the cement. A driveway that won’t be done until summer and yard to follow after that. Broken dates as to fixing these issues. Poor communication as to resolving these issues

Don’t fall prey their pre closing experience. They literally don’t care once closing is over. We closed the house without the driveway and landscaping and it’s been more 2 months and we still don’t have driveway and landscaping . I have sent multiple emails to PM but all I heard is an excuse that it’s delay due to weather conditions. They did driveway and landscaping for all the new house closed after us and pouring basement concrete for the new construction which is far from closing . The weather rule don’t apply to them. I've been in my new home for six weeks. I've have had a lot of issues with my home, air conditioning does not work, no driveway yet, issues with the sliding screen door, pounding noice when heat is on and a lot of other issues. If I had do do it over again I would not buy a pulte home!!!!

The experience with Pulte Homes was horrible. We’ve had numerous issues and many have taken a long time to fix and some will probably never get fixed. The attention to detail when doing the finishing was not done at all. Painting and caulking are just to name a few. We had electrical issues and a major drainage problem in our backyard that still has not been corrected. We expected somethings would need to be corrected in a new home but ours was over the top.

House not completed for walkthrough, no quality checks were performed by Pulte, all issue identification was left up to us as the customer, promised by builder that issues would be resolved by closing and they were not. Electrical, plumbing, and flooring issues were supposed to be fixed prior to closing on our home. We were assured everything was completed and ready for us to move in. Go with another lender

Do not go with the Pulte lender!!! They will make you jump through hurdles for the same rate another lender will offer you for free. We got our keys but we’re still sending them documentation. Watch everything in the build process. Take notes & stay on top of the construction manager to get stuff done!!
