Pulte talks a lot about quality but the contractors they use for fit and finish are terrible. We closed on our house and there are still a lot of issues that Pulte has yet to fix. From missing siding, to poor caulking, uneven drywall, scratched appliances- you name it. I am confident that our framework was done correctly but from a fit and finish standpoint Pulte misses every mark.

Pulte had an easy process for picking out our options and guided us through everything. After we moved in there were a few items needing attention that we pointed out. Pulte warranty was all over it! very happy with our sales team and the our builder!

Great people to work with. Quality of the material is not that great as compared to the price. Does lacks some finishes/touchups at the first place which were taken care once service request were created. Overall I am happy with Pulte. Would definitely recommend.

Pulte did not care about the customer's need . The quality of finishes are what you see in much lower priced homes.

I have had major issues such as , the main drain water line broken in two places, second floor hallway sinking in, burnt out light fixtures, nails sticking through the carpet . Sadly enough I’m stuck here. Kitchen cabinets are of poor quality, although they look nice.

Poor Workmanship, (some)cheap materials & Rushed build

I feel this build was rushed to get finished before the end of the year even though we purchased in May. Build didn’t get started for a couple of months and even though we purchased prior to 2 other lots (weeks/month) ours was the last one to get started. Multiple issues left unresolved and found poor displays of workmanship while living in the house. Some examples are: -various/different hardware used for hooks on boot bench (I don’t understand why it wasn’t uniform) -2 hooks from boot bench had stripped screws and fell off within the first month - a handle on a cabinet drawer broke in ...

Water and gas leakage

Just moved in 2 months and half, already have 2 times of water problem. One-way valve under the ground of basement was glued together so that water from furnace exhaust system caused flooding. drainage pipe from laundry room were damaged during construction, caused flooding again. Gas valves for water heater were not tighten together, caused gas leakage at basement.

Would not buy with Pulte again

It was a bit of struggle with Pulte on all accounts (construction, sales office, mortgage) from start to finish. Construction issues were covered up, we were told some of the staff cut corners (by other staff) and given a multitude of misinformation by sales, and our mortgage representative had little knowledge of the products he was selling. In regards to construction, the paint is already chipping, cracks in ceilings (1 month in), house was not properly cleaned upon move-in (still tape marks all over floor) and just general lack of attention to detail. Front office staff very responsive. Couple of response time delays, but overall very pleasant and cooperative. Not overly impressed with cleaning crew. Tucker came out personally to do a job that they should have completed. Front office staff always very pleasant and responsive.

Quality construction in overall poor

I followed the whole house construction, the framing was done using a lot of cracked timber. Tiles have been installed directly on the slab concreate without any membrane and indeed some one is already cracking. I have had roofing problems with a leaking which has been fixed. So in general I’m not happy with the build quality

The process leading up to the build was fantastic. The Pulte team really knows how to make you feel like you are the center of the "universe" when it comes to your build. First, the positives: 1. Since moving into our house, we have had quite a few issues (broken furnace, plumbing not working, creaky floors) as well as realizing that there were some poor design choices or just cheapness (cabinet doors that need bumpers because they bang into walls and other cabinets, odd placement of countless light switches, master bath door opens in front of shower, frames only on 3 out of 6 mirrors, counter overhangs not quite enough for comfortable seating, floor tiles and vinyl not running the way any of us would have expected, furnace lines running directly in the center of the master bedroom ...
