The Pulte's closing subsidiary P&P Tile representative was very unresponsive, took multiple emails to make simple changes to contract. Pre walkthrough process is worthless. Not all items were addressed before closing even though extra time was provided before final walkthrough. Was some of the remaining items will be addressed soon after closing. We are month post closing, we items are still pending. Within 2 weeks of closing and moving in, we had flood in the basement. Water line broke - making us question the quality of work. If I could go back amd purchase my home from Pulte I wouldn't. They are very hard to get ahold of near the end of the building process. They are not very good at communicating and wouldn't respond to emails. They made us miss out closing date and then blamed us for missing it.

My salesman Josh and construction manager were very helpful. My loan rep Justice was a poor communicator and hard to contact. After closing on property my warranty person Brock Has been slow or unable to resolve issues. Luckily I took pictures of defects the day I received my keys. Pulte in the past has been a builder I’m proud to recommend. Also Pulte was working with Shasta pool so construction would go smooth but that failed also

Too many turn overs of oversite management has caused items to not be properly completed. Many items are still not completed after two months of moving in. Even the follow up warranty group/manager has left with no notification or who is working on completing the remaining issues. I am not happy.

They do not comply with the established times, they finished the house after 7 months after the established date and the finishes were very bad. We were very disappointed.

Worst sales consultants to begin with. Construction manager is never available for questions. The in answer he had S is that a host is built by humans so it will have issues and defects and will never be perfect. This is his standard answer to all the lousy workmanship on the house. Absolutely poor quality build.

When you get a contract on a house and the builder says oh we will have it done in 6 months, don't believe them. We walked in our interest rate with the understanding the house would be good and 6 months, 6 months came and went and a house wasn't built and the contract on the house expired. Then we were told by faulty if we wanted the house we would have to do a new contract at an even higher interest rate. New construction home took almost triple anticipated 6 months time frame to build and when closing date was finally given, we booked a flight since we are out of state residents; but then the house still wasn't ready. We then found out the interior was painted the default color but were never given a choice of one. We closed on the home and received our keys on 11/22/2022, No Pulte representative was at the close, located at the Pulte sales center at Oak Tree community. Only a Notary was present. We were not able to move into the home until 12/03/2022, because Pulte caused a leak to our two -story home when removing "used" washer and dryer on 11/23/22, that where found on our buyer inspection on 11/15/22. 1. We arranged the spectrum installation one week after the closing but no signal at all for the house. Spectrum came four times then finally installed it after the guests checked in! The owner requested the bulk account with Spectrum on 11/18/2022. Due to the builder updating the information delay, the Spectrum bill’s amount is not for a bulk account. I had a terrible experience dealing with Pulte. I got the run around for months about a drainage issue in my backyard, it was so bad you couldn’t literally put a canoe in the water. Pulte representatives didn’t want to spend the 2,000 dollars to have French drains put in to fix the issue. Somehow they were able to look at us with a straight face and say there was no issue. Most disappointing new construction home purchase to date!

The sales agent was difficult to work with. He was inexperienced and often misleading especially regarding the home taxes and bond obligations . The builders financing process was a complete cluster and anything but a process. The construction team failed to complete almost the entire punch list that was provided weeks in advance of close with items remaining to date, months after close.

I wouldn't recommend Pulte unless you have an attorney on retainer that can essentially hold your hand through the entire process. From sales to walk through, to follow up issues post sale they were terrible. The folks who helped sign were great including Teri who set herself apart from the rest of the company.

With pulte buying experience is very bad. If you trust sales agents you will loss lot. We need to fight , argue with them to get best. From the beginning to the end Pulte did not deliver as promise. The mortgage company pulled out last minute and didn’t understand what I explained would be needed up front, additional monies were charged and not refunded, items I didn’t want were charged and performance on final product poor. After closing a power line was cut by builder and property was rushed to close but unliveable with no power for two weeks while I was of course paying to own it and rushed to close then the builder cut the line.

When I signed my contract, I was given a closing date of 7 months from then. I wound up closing 1 year later. This caused my monthly mortgage payment to increase by $500 per month due to the rising interest rates. During that time, there was no communication. The house would sit for weeks at a time with nothing happening. There was also high turnover in the construction department. Duringthe 1 year, we had 4 different contruction managers. Our sales agent and her boss both left. I don’tvthink I would have built with Pilte had I known this is how the experience would be.

Pulte has nobody in charge of the construction of your home, there is no one accountable for the poor workmanship. The construction manager simply blames all of his mistakes on the subcontractors. Our construction manager lied about punch list items getting completed in our new home or used double talk, saying things such as "...that should get fixed..." In reality, Pulte fixes as little as possible for as cheap as possible.
