We were promised that the house will be ready on the 19th Dec. I took all week vacation. At 1pm i got a call that i wont get the keys that day. 2 hrs before i was supposed to move in. During the inspection we found so many defects and the house wasnt even ready. We are still having issues with so many stuff. Loud noise when the furnace stops running. We asked John (Manager) and his respond was, it is normal. Jason (QA Manager) is very helpful and trying to find the problem. There workmanship is very poor.

I watched this house built from footings, slab, framing, mechanical/electrical rough-in, roofing, rough stucco, insulation, wall-boarding, to finishing. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and workmanship that went into all but one of these phases. Unfortunately, the finishing was less than satisfactory. Seemingly lacking in this project was a quality control walkdown by a person with an eye on fit and finish. This logical omission would have prevented a lot of frustration experienced before and after closing.

The process of building was very easy. We also feel a tremendous value in the home. What we paid was less per square foot than just about anything in the area by a significant amount. Like any new build there are small things to complain about with the workmanship, but nothing serious. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase. This is the third home we have had built by a mass builder. It was not the worst by far, but definitely not the best. The buying experience was not good at all. Since moving in, I have to say that they are really great about getting any issues taken care of right away. Overall, if we were ever to build again we would consider them.

The standard home they sell as advertised, is NOT what anyone would settle for. EVERYTHING to do with this house has a ridiculous upgrade price; both structurally and decorative selections, even the lower end of the upgrades are way over priced. Most of the items you pay extra for should definitely be standard on a new build in Florida. The subcontractors they use are bad and they are poorly supervised. I am very pleased with the work Pulte did in building my new home. The builder Jimmy was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process smooth and seemless. Pulte in general from the initial sales process and design center, to the loan financing and closing process made my experience a good one.

I would love to have a chance of configuring my house before buying, like a car configurator. With that, I would make better decisions on my purchase. I would like to have a bit more modern options on some details, like tiles - the options are all very 90's... Other than that, a very good experience. Happy with the house.

My bathroom clogged within 2 days of move in. When I requested for checking that, I was informed that it was clogged due to use of toilet paper. My concern if you cannot use toilet paper in toilet what else can I use. Builder doesn’t show any responsibility in fixing the issues at all. Overly priced home. Builder charge differently for upgrades for each model making low end homes come out be expensive than it is worth. They miss the updates said over phone and blame customer that it was not informed to them. Doesn’t accept even some of minimal requests once the contract is signed. For ...

It was a very disappointing process. Work doesn't get fixed until the end if you point it out. Workers are slopping in there trade.

Several things that were “fixed”’prior to closing were done so poorly that they look horrible and are “just cosmetic” and will not be repaired per the warranty. It’s sad to see how very little pride was taken by the builders and the trades when building our home. No one seemed to care about paint drips, adhesive left on cabinets, shoe molding not matching up, caulking missing, mismatched paint, etc. I was pressured into leaving a “good review” for our builder because “that’s how I keep food on the table for my family” but there are many issues we have found that should have never been allowed ...

Subcontractors lack of concern and responsibility

Made settlement 12/19/19. Walked into a filthy bug infested house and had to use master key because ours wasn’t delivered yet. Subcontractors rarely show or call for scheduled appointments. They don’t take responsibility for their work but quick to blame others. i.e.leaking window still not fixed. Warranty manager NIC is a saint without him nothing would get done post settlement. Nobody other than Nic takes responsibility and respects the homeowners. General consensus of our neighbors is similar to the above. When I told the design center what I wanted to upgrade she was rude and abrupt. ...

The home seems nice on the initial inspection but once a closer look is taken, the craftsmanship is not good for the money that was spent. The attention to detail is lacking and we are continuously finding things that were not done properly. It seems that the attitude of "that's good enough" was taken when finishing the home. While Pulte is trying to address all of our issues, it is taking a long time to get someone in the home to fix things.
