The experience with Pulte was and continues to be horrible! They are unresponsive and do not follow up on issues! I would never ever buy another Pulte home!

First, they force you to use their mortgage company and then they sell your mortgage before the first payment is due to a company you never heard of. Second, they sell craftsmanship. We have made 12 work orders on a brand new house. From no remote to a fireplace to stairs that are stained 2 different colors. Third, it takes weeks for them to get back to you and another 2 weeks for it to repaired. Fourth, we had 3 different contractors building the house in 10 months. Who left, who got fired. Almost two months later and still with issues

Throughout the process, we would visit the home and point out issues to our construction manager. He kept telling us it would get done. On our final walkthrough, multiple issues were not complete and we were told many would be done shortly after closing and to just trust them and their warranty as they stand behind it. We were among the first to purchase a home in new community and expected the company to be especially attentive to its first customers. A complete nightmare. Started during build process continued after closing. From sub par craftsmanship now to a new home filled with mold that made me sick! Only lived it 2 weeks had a major foundation issues. Then because lack of followIf i could go back I would never build with Pulte Homes! The home we received was NOTHING like the model home we toured. Contractors are horrible and Pulte does not check homes like they claim during the build process.

Home are not even close to the quality they claim. As soon as you sign the purchase agreement, forget about hearing from the salesperson. They will disappear!!! Set up a third party inspector ASAP. They will come up with tons of excuses to not let you use a third party inspector ASAP. None of the walls are straight. Cheap build quality on they way things are done. Plenty of cur corners. What I would tell prospective homebuyers would be to run far and fast away from Pulte homes! This is my 3rd Pulte home and it will be my last. The quality of the work in the house is abysmal! There is basically zero responsiveness to issues. If there is any sort of followup it’s only when asked multiple times and then the work still doesn’t get completed. The finishes are sloppy and careless and if I couid go back in time knowing what I know now I would never have purchased this home.

Construction Management team is completely incompetent

Water, water everywhere.

We have water leaking from our bathroom into our main floor, we have a sink hole in our front yard due to a suspected sewage leak, we have water coming through or basement ceiling from the HVAC system, we have water damage in our family room from a roof leak and this is just the water problems. HORRIBLE QUALITY AND DENIES WARRANTY CLAIMS

I purchased a brand new home from Pulte in April 2025. Just two months later, the inner pane of our double-glazed sliding glass door spontaneously shattered—with absolutely no sign of impact, misuse, or damage to the exterior pane. This is a textbook example of a stress fracture or material defect, which is supposed to be covered under Pulte’s 1-year limited warranty (per their own performance standards under section 10.5 for cracked windows and stress cracks). Have mold after 1 month in basement as it was never built properly. Flag at inspection and during build, was never resolved although promised it would be. Warranty denied for “underground spring” - you are not allowed to build on underground springs and nobody checked or proved that. They just dont want to honor their warranty for poor not up to code build.

The sales rep, mortgage process and final product all missed the mark for me. Expectations were set too high and the team failed to meet them at every step. The sales rep provided information that was misleading, the mortgage team provided quotes/offers that any other bank could easily beat (even though you are led to believe Pulte will beat any offer). And the final product is far from perfect (which for being a new construction, I expected it to be perfect). This is the worst craftsmanship I ever seen, from the walls, floors, Ctop, cabinets and much more. I closed around 5/12 and I still have issues with my cabinets not being completed. Also Workers using my electricity and water, like there’s no supervision for them so they do as pleased. I would never recommend this builder to anyone. Worst experience ever!!!

Pulte was reactive rather than proactive regarding problems. Pulte contracts with Arqai for smart homes, and Arqai is not a good company. When I reached out to Pulte to address concerns, there was no respone. Crickets. I would never buy from Pulte again.
