Poor customer service and poor work quality

I had my last walk through on November 21st and I closed on November 26th things that were supposed to be fixed 3 days after my last walkthrough and before getting my keys are still pending today 1/15/19 counter tops had to be replaced 2 times and during a replacement my other counter top got damaged. Contacting Juan the constitution manager is a joke.. never answers calls or messages and email replies take for ever he even blocked 2 of my phone numbers. How professional is that? I would never buy another Pulte Home

The issues started from almost the day we signed our contract and now 8 weeks since closing they still haven't fixed all the problems. I could go on and on but it's just not worth my time.

Not the Pulte I Once Knew

First, the good. The main employees you deal with are great people. They really are. But the line is pretty much drawn there because their hands are tied to corporate policy that’s not conducive to a quality product. Answers to questions and problems are “the labor force is terrible”, are not acceptable and should never be when buying a half million dollar home. Several subcontractors just flat out do not care about the quality of their work. I’m not sure why but it’s really none of the consumers concern. The end result though is a poor product. I bought a Pulte home back about 1 years ago ...

I really recommended pulte to everyone other there who is looking for new home. I had decent experience with Pulte Homes to getting new first new Home. Quality of workmanship is mediocre. I had a contractor come to repaint the walls to my colors. At that time they found that some of the walls were not straight and had a slight bow in them. There were some other issues that were pulled out by independent survey team that found various other issues as well, most of these were addressed by the Pulte team and fixed very quickly.

Though we are finally getting things addressed, it has taken 2 months, and numerous complaints to regional management. Our sales person, Ellen, has always been upfront and responsive. But we know there is only so much she can do.

seems like everyone is trying to get their bonus and hit their goals by rushing to close. After moving in, I realized there are excessive amount of repairs and fine tuning needed (very sloppy work). Spending few minutes in each room during walk thru is completely insufficient. That burden should not be placed on homeowner and it should be with the builder/field manager. Paint drips all over the floor and carpet, gaps and chips throughout the house, loose faucet/sink, etc..etc.. Seems like there are too many homes going up at same time and not enough quality control and not enough field ...

Note where phone jacks, towel racks, laundry room shelf etc., are to be located. More attention to minor, but important details. Some are non-existent or very inconvenient.

Still waiting for Pulte to resolve serious issue

Pulte has agreed to address a serious design flaw in my new home. They have limited the actions that they are willing to take. I hope that the actions that they are starting to take will somewhat resolve this issue. I realize that I'm insignificant in the scope of this large corporation. However, my spending almost $500K for my house is huge and I was hoping my new home would be a wonderful sanctuary of peace and enjoyment.

Overall Great Experience. Love the home! Sales Consultants were the best that I've ever worked with (this is the 5th home I've purchased in the past 45 years). Everyone has been great to work with including the construction supervisor, the warranty supervisor, etc. The only negative experience was dealing with Pultes Mortgage Company. I won't go into that...let's just say that it was NOT a good experience.

They charged me more, delivering a different finish than the one I requested. We had choosen U2 model, but they sold (and charged us) another model. We spent about US$7,000 more. I asked for money back, but had no answer till now.

The house is great but there were a couple of minor repair items that I discovered after moving in. I followed the process and sent them off to the warranty mailbox twice but have never received a response. Other than the responsiveness the overall experience with the builder has been very good.
