not detailed oriented at all. couple of issues within 1 month

Pulte has a great design & build team that works closely with the customer. There was ongoing communication and all milestones were met. We had no major issues during the entire process. It took Pulte's Creekside team three months to convert an empty dirt lot into a beautiful home. They followed up quickly to resolve a few minor post-construction issues.

Bring T square to check Pillars and walls. Verify WIFI. Provide options to add a couple cabinets and move accessories to desired.

Not impressed with this home.

We had a great experience from contract time close. We didn’t have any major issues with the build process. Our project manager was extremely responsive and really Great at keeping us in formed the whole way.

Overall nice home but they do not allow for ANY customization which is a significant disappointment considering how expensive these homes are. They have a decent selection of finishes, but upgrades are costly from base selection and even basic items are costly to upgrade. Overall feel of house is nice and would only change a few things like increase the size of the garage and adjust layout of the basement if the builder would allow. Absolutely avoid Pulte Mortgage at all costs.

I feel the quality of our home we built with Standard Pacific (now CalAtlantic) homes was a better quality home. We had less issues moving in and the home was entirely ready when we moved in. However, Pulte told us they had a 7-9mo build time and it was done in 5, which put us in a bad spot with our lease. Then, they were scrambling to get everything done by closing. And when we moved in, there were still things missing or broken. Not the best experience and it didn’t give us much faith in the integrity of the home.

There are a few minor and relatively low cost things that Pulte could do that would greatly increase the quality and experience of the home. The overall build quality is as expected though.

disappointing how many rules there are when in comes to what you can and can not do with your own yard

Just bought a house from this builder. Ithe builder was very good. The quality of the house is excellent. The mortgage loan process was very smooth and customer service is very good too. Don’t have much complain about the new house. Compare to the other builders we bought previously, this one is one of the best so far.

I bought a new home thinking about wont have troubles with maintanace, but I was wong. I already haved problems wit air conditioning, paint of the pool floor is running down to the pool, broken wall toilet paper holder, a crumpled on the wall of the restroom in the pool area, crack in the wall of the master room and I need the a few of the same ink tou painted my front ddor to fix the difference between the locks that I changed.

The whole process was great.

The girls that you talk to in the call center , need to listen and put down the doughnuts, They are not the top notch of the tree!

As a first time home buyer a lot of things were missed in the upgrading options. HOA going up with not even being in the home for 2 months with no notice. Just the whole buying experience and process was not great. Lack of communication.

We have experienced examples of poor workmanship in the construction of our new Pulte home at Lake Forest. Although Pulte is willing to provide subsequent repairs after failures are discovered, they show little interest in preventing errors in the first place since there is an obvious lack of quality control which allows substandard work to be provided to customers. Also, Pulte shows no interest in responding to significant inconveniences occurring during the repair process. This approach seems to be more focused on making the initial sale and employing subcontractors than on providing a positive experience for customers. Within TWO weeks of closing on our home, we experienced two examples of poor workmanship. First, we discovered a poorly installed electrical outlet (the one servicing the range) which had to be reinstalled. Luckily no damage resulted from this error, though we were unable to use the range for two weeks until the problem was discovered and repaired. We now worry about what we don't know about potential damage (fires??) caused by other poorly installed outlets. Second, we experienced a major failure of a fixture on the water main which resulted in a geyser spraying water into our brand new home for over an hour while we were out. We've since learned that two other homes in our neighborhood experienced similar plumbing failures. Of course, our home was still under warrantee so Pulte was obliged to repair the substantial damage throughout. With the obvious lack of quality control with Pulte construction, we find it impossible to trust the plumbing work throughout the home and continue to worry about what else may occur. In addition, Pulte has not shown an interest in alleviating the significant inconvenience we suffered (lack of sleep while dehumidifying equipment ran 24hrs/day and the electrical cost of running it, extra cost of wasted water, diminished home value, vacation days spent hosting contractors, etc.) while reconstruction and repairs took place, demonstrating little interest in providing a positive experience for the customer. Both of these experiences demonstrate to us that Pulte is more interested in making a sale and ensuring employment for their subcontractors than they are with providing a quality product and positive experience to their customers. ... Very disappointed in the workmanship of our home.

Pulte are using sub-skilled, illegal laborers that are supervised (infrequently). This lead to multiple issues during the house building stage. I was at the site daily addressing issues. I don’t have any equal sized window frames and this was apparent whilst measuring for window treatments. There have been multiple issues since move-in (the majority of which have been addressed under warranty) but the vast majority of issues are due to poor workmanship which begs the question as to what you are actually paying for?!? These are visible surface issues and I cringe at what is possibly at fault structurally or behind the walls with the same shoddy workmanship. This company lures clients with an exceptionally built model home but does not build your home with the same consistency. ... More
