TO ELIMINATE SOME FRUSTRATIONS, WE WOULD HIRE A HOME INSPECTOR TO FIND/LOCAGE PROBLEM AREAS BEFORE CLOSING AND MOVING IN. THIS WOULD FIND SHORT COMINGS, TO INCLUDE ELECTRICAL, PAINT ISSUES, RUSTING STAINLESS STEEL REFRIGERATOR DOORS, WILD SPRAY DISCHARGE OF SOME SPRINKLER HEADS ON WINDOWS AND PORCH, FLOODING AREAS AROUND IRRIGATION VALVE BOX , AND SIDE WALK, VERY ANNOYING , CREAKING, LOUD GARAGE DOOR OPERATION, GUTTER DOWN SPOUTS NOT ALL THE WAY DIRECTED TO GRASS RESULTING IN WASH OUT CRATERS . Our new home has many minor quality details that have required and continue to require attention. We have a great warranty representative that stays on top of our issues and keeps us informed. It seems as though the home was finished quickly by subcontractors without the attention to detail that I am accustomed to. In comparison, when we finished our new primary home in another state the contractor walked us through the finished product and pointed out the quality of fit and finish. After the purchase, service is terrible

The sales force is wonderful. In general, the home is beautiful. However, after moving in, we saw many, many small issues and a couple not so small. The most important one's are tile poorly installed in the foyer and edges on the corners of the kitchen island that were not finished off and are very, sharp posing a cutting hazard as you walk by. Repeated requests for assistance go unanswered by the Pulte Warranty office.

Regret choosing Pulte

We have a beautiful home, but don’t look too close. Pulte has absolutely zero care for quality. We still have paint splatters on the floors, crooked window jambs, visible drywall seams on the ceilings, visible nail holes and joints on trim throughout low voltage cable installed in the wrong place. All of which was pointed out to Pulte multiple times and promised to be fixed before closing. We’ve been in the house for a month and those issues are not fixed. There are several things I thought would be better. 1). Cabinets are not even close to being installed to standard. 2). Grass was brown and almost dead, several dead spaces or gaps in grass. 3). Texture not done to standard or missing in several places throughout the house. 4). Tile throughout house has deep scratch marks; almost holes. 5). Holes and cracks in concrete in garage. 6). Dent in main door that builder refuses to replace or fix. 7). Dents and scratches in wood of railing not fixed. 8). Scratches in metal wood railing not fixed. 9). Check Everything

Cleanliness throughout Check air filter to furnace windows. Check every installation fixtures. Check every light and every switch in every room. Make sure all appliances work , all doors and draws operate as they should. We have had several issues from plumbing to electrical to minor structure though the response is good it doesn't ease the trust of the quality to value of the home. We love our new home we just don't like all the inconviences we experienced so far in our first two months.

Sales personnel were knowledgeable and friendly. The Project Manager was responsive and worked with us during the construction. Items noted during the walk through were addressed in a timely fashion. We are planning to send a small list of items to the Maintenance Department. We believe they will be as concerned and responsive as our Sales person and Project Manager were during the early stages.

A few months into our new Pulte home I have been satisfied. I was worried before beginning the process and it took considerable research and effort to gain my comfort to move forward. Throughout the process, I was over the shoulder of our construction manager. He was helpful and responsive and I am trying to get my friends and certain family members into the Pulte neighborhood.

While the salesperson (David) and Erin (Project Manager) were both terrific, the overall experience in building a Pulte home was anything but. They are the definition of a tract builder that slaps up the houses in record time...workmanship is atrocious. But, the fact that we were told just a few days before closing that our home did not appraise is sickening. We didn't even do many upgrades (like countertops, flooring, fixtures) because the Pulte offerings were so outdated...can't even imagine how much more under the appraised value the home would have been with these items added to the ...

When I did the walk through I did realize there was so many issue with the house. I moved in and immediately found several poor workmanship problems that had to be fixed. The good thing thing is Pulte has a good warranty team/program.

Major plumbing issues causing flooding within the first 2 weeks and washer stopped working after 1 month. We know of 2 other homeowners with plumbing issues upon closing. Employees are friendly but company policies and procedures prevent adequate more customer service.

Pulte committed to the date of closure but last minute fixes were real sloppy and they punted those to warranty where the homeowner needs to chase and get this down. Quality of the work until the last month was good but bad planning and negligence during closure needs to be addressed. Well prices might seem little high but can say its worth only after 5 years seeing how well the house has settled.

Our new home is beautifully designed and many many things are just perfect! But there are also many little problems that are annoying and difficult to get resolved. Nothing is urgent anymore (the one urgent problem was fixed but only after a 10 day wait). The project manager is overwhelmed so there's no way that he could possibly address the issues. We hope that Pulte will respond within the first year of ownership so we can have the perfect home we dreamed of.
