Beautiful home. No major issues, response times and construction manger have been supportive and responsive.

We bought our new Pulte home in August 2019. Sales and construction kept in close touch throughout the process. We expected some delay in the close date, but it ended up being delayed a total of 6 weeks. After moving in, it took three months for a few last issues to be resolved (things like replacing a door, staining the fence, wiring external outlets, etc). Although the process was a little longer and more annoying than we'd expected, ultimately we are very satisfied with our new home. The house itself is lovely and very well constructed. I would definitely consider Pulte again in the future.

Always received timely feedback o questions and issues from the sales team and project manager.

I submitted my 30 day checklist on Nov 15th and have not heard back from anyone (Dec 5) on when the issues I reported will be resolved. I contacted CAC@pulte.com on Nov 29th and they said someone would contact me? Haven't heard from anyone. (Dec 5) There has also been a lot of problem with landscaping collapsing on this block over the past 2 weeks and it has to do with Packing that wasn't properly done when pipes were laid to the sides of houses. There is confusion on who is responsible (Arizona pipe or Desert Valley) and what the reporting process is, there isn't one? you contact Pulte Reps and no one responds. You call Desert Valley Landscaping and they are too busy or don't want to spend anytime resolving the issues. They send someone out and they put rock on it to cover problem so you can't see it. After searching through used houses on the market, we decided that we are not fixer-uppers, and wanted something fairly new. At the time we were shopping, the inventory of lightly-used houses was very thin, and the price difference for a new house was not significant. So we talked to realtors and friends, and they all had positive things to say about Pulte. Our expectations have so far been exceeded.

We have been in the house for 2 months in a new neighborhood. Between HOA issues, improperly installed irrigation systems, non-working electrical outlets, Bon-working heat pump, counter-top defects and other issues; we have had a contractor at the house every week since we moved in. The USPS couldn’t even get us our mail for over 3 weeks after we moved in, b/c Pulte didn’t get them a key to the mailboxes. Very disappointing to this point.

Lots of trails and parks.

Home design is exactly what we wanted, location is great, and the house was completed on time. Sales office and related offices for mortgage and insurance were very responsive. Builder was accommodating for non-standard features we requested. However, quality of workmanship and materials used were less than anticipated. Examples are plumbing lines/shutoff valves, and not using 16-inch centered studs on non-weight bearing walls. Appliances are builder grade, and we needed to have the microwave repaired in the first week.

In my case, I’m probably overly critical, especially when paying $700k. Ultimately, Pulte resolved every last issue and went above and beyond with its customer service. While the experience was challenging, as is with any new build, the end result was worthwhile and I’d recommend Pulte to anyone.

My wife and I had a positive experience with everyone who helped in the purchase of our new home. We've been in our new home for about one and half months and are enjoying getting settled in Columbia Townes!

We fell in love with our home, not only because it is spacious. It's about the quality that Pulte put out and the details in their structure.

Elevator, Trash Chute & Garbage has been such a problem I really hope these issues are not recurrences I suggested Dartmouth to have security be omovein furnitures. The Garage vent is broken, all happened in Building 5. The next building that is being done can, I would like to suggest Pulte to have 1 unit that is WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE (which means) lower kitchen sink, stove, cabinets & bathroom vanity the shower is perfect. I have search for so many condos, this was the best place I found because it has a garage. There are many disabled people looking for an accessible place to live who will be able to afford to move to a Pulte complex ... More

Buying a home can be very scary. Pulte made this experience go very smoothly.

Pulte Homes are good quality, affordable homes! I love mine and Matt was always available for questions or concerns and if something needed to be fixed he was always on it.

Steven and Kyle have made the process of buying a home easy. They both are very personable and take the time to explain everything . They are both very responsive and willing to assist to resolve any items/issues needed. I have purchased homes before, and this has been the best so far!

Pulte builds a SOLID structure. The quality of the inside craftsmanship is more like I’m moving into a remodeled home. Or let me put it this way, when I buy a new car I expect a NEW CAR, without a scratch on it. Or I bought my home based on the Model home. Pulte would never sell homes based on the craftsmanship of my home. The paint job is horrible, clumps of paint, heavy brush strokes, uneven walls, the baseboards (not wood but MDF Cardboard) are grainy, spray painted the dirt on the floor onto the baseboards. The paint on the cabinets was poor, the floors had paint splatters that took me a day to take off, the front and door to garage have/had gaps to the outside, our bathroom door was crooked, we realized the door casing was put up crooked and most of the doors were sanded poorly-painted the spot only causing flashing, the doors at the hinges are scuffed to the point that the particle board was exposed and painting it will leave rough marks, grout missing from tile in shower, grout not cleaned after grout, backsplash tile under cabinet not finished off, i was told that is how PULTE finishes it’s tile. So I went to the Model home and took pictures...modeled backsplash finished flawlessly, I have jagged unfinished edges...I can send pictures. Sorry you don’t make provision for pictures to be published. We had human waste in 2 places, quest bedroom and master bath and, cousins (who does not work for PULTE) had to stop the tile people from tiling over the human waste that could have been a health issue. Easy fix has to be brought to the attention several times. The expensive zero corner doors are ruined inside and outside by tile installation and stucco installation, and it can’t be cleaned off because it will oxidize the aluminum and rust, The front door lock did not work with the Smart home system we bought, took weeks before I could get it replaced by the Warranty office. And good luck with the Warranty office, they say one thing and do nothing. Contractors are working for a check, they don’t care how it looks, it’s not their money. There are so many homes going up they have to rush through the home. Very poor craftsmanship at least in my home and the home of my neighbors. ... More

Here’s our story of what we are still dealing with. Anyhow, 3 days before our final Walk through I decided to come by the house to do a walk through by myself. The night before we have some rain, but I was still very surprised when I walked in to see water leaking from my downstairs bathroom into the front door foyer. Obviously I called my super and he got on it right away. We were told the cleaning and remediation process would take about 9 days. They put us up in a hotel for those days, then we were given the new date to our closing. We did the final walk through, water issues was fixed, so we thought. Doing the walk through the quality of the build just seemed cheap. Paint job was not perfect, seemed rushed. Dry wall was uneven, paint spots over our wood floors, dings here and there, baseboards seemed rushed, dirty finger prints on our ceiling and things like that. Our super said he would have that fixed, and most were fixed the following week. Now fast forward to last week (1 month living in our new home) it rains again, and what happens again? Yep, you guessed it. Same leak, in the bathrooms, in the same spot. The roof was NEVER fixed. They roof company came and patched it, the roofers came back a week later and found 4 more holes in the roof. All were patched, the bathroom had to have the ceiling removed and replaced with new dry wall. Two weeks later, our bathroom has not been painted and still a mess. I say all of that, to say this. I will think twice next time I plan on building a house through Pulte. Not shunning them forever, yet, but will definitely think it over twice. Ps. I think their issues is the subs they use to build their house. They can give a rats butt on the quality of work they do. My house was built in the Cadence community in Mesa, AZ. ... More

Smooth process.

The homes are designed for the families of today. A lot of useful space but not too big. People love our community very quiet and clean.

Most expensive tract house we’ve purchased. We’ve dealt with four other tract builders. By far our experience with Pulte has been the most disappointing of them all!
