We bought our new Pulte home in August 2019. Sales and construction kept in close touch throughout the process. We expected some delay in the close date, but it ended up being delayed a total of 6 weeks. After moving in, it took three months for a few last issues to be resolved (things like replacing a door, staining the fence, wiring external outlets, etc). Although the process was a little longer and more annoying than we'd expected, ultimately we are very satisfied with our new home. The house itself is lovely and very well constructed. I would definitely consider Pulte again in the future.

I submitted my 30 day checklist on Nov 15th and have not heard back from anyone (Dec 5) on when the issues I reported will be resolved. I contacted CAC@pulte.com on Nov 29th and they said someone would contact me? Haven't heard from anyone. (Dec 5) There has also been a lot of problem with landscaping collapsing on this block over the past 2 weeks and it has to do with Packing that wasn't properly done when pipes were laid to the sides of houses. There is confusion on who is responsible (Arizona pipe or Desert Valley) and what the reporting process is, there isn't one? you contact Pulte ...

After searching through used houses on the market, we decided that we are not fixer-uppers, and wanted something fairly new. At the time we were shopping, the inventory of lightly-used houses was very thin, and the price difference for a new house was not significant. So we talked to realtors and friends, and they all had positive things to say about Pulte. Our expectations have so far been exceeded.

We have been in the house for 2 months in a new neighborhood. Between HOA issues, improperly installed irrigation systems, non-working electrical outlets, Bon-working heat pump, counter-top defects and other issues; we have had a contractor at the house every week since we moved in. The USPS couldn’t even get us our mail for over 3 weeks after we moved in, b/c Pulte didn’t get them a key to the mailboxes. Very disappointing to this point.

Home design is exactly what we wanted, location is great, and the house was completed on time. Sales office and related offices for mortgage and insurance were very responsive. Builder was accommodating for non-standard features we requested. However, quality of workmanship and materials used were less than anticipated. Examples are plumbing lines/shutoff valves, and not using 16-inch centered studs on non-weight bearing walls. Appliances are builder grade, and we needed to have the microwave repaired in the first week.

In my case, I’m probably overly critical, especially when paying $700k. Ultimately, Pulte resolved every last issue and went above and beyond with its customer service. While the experience was challenging, as is with any new build, the end result was worthwhile and I’d recommend Pulte to anyone.

Elevator, Trash Chute & Garbage has been such a problem I really hope these issues are not recurrences I suggested Dartmouth to have security be omovein furnitures. The Garage vent is broken, all happened in Building 5. The next building that is being done can, I would like to suggest Pulte to have 1 unit that is WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE (which means) lower kitchen sink, stove, cabinets & bathroom vanity the shower is perfect. Pulte builds a SOLID structure. The quality of the inside craftsmanship is more like I’m moving into a remodeled home. Or let me put it this way, when I buy a new car I expect a NEW CAR, without a scratch on it. Or I bought my home based on the Model home. Pulte would never sell homes based on the craftsmanship of my home. The paint job is horrible, clumps of paint, heavy brush strokes, uneven walls, the baseboards (not wood but MDF Cardboard) are grainy, spray painted the dirt on the floor onto the baseboards. Here’s our story of what we are still dealing with. Anyhow, 3 days before our final Walk through I decided to come by the house to do a walk through by myself. The night before we have some rain, but I was still very surprised when I walked in to see water leaking from my downstairs bathroom into the front door foyer. Obviously I called my super and he got on it right away. We were told the cleaning and remediation process would take about 9 days.
