4 1/2 months after closing I still do not have my irrigation system or yard installed. Horrible customer service full of threats, but they do not follow through on anything that they commit to. I used Pulte Title and they did not pay the insurance at closing, although they say the check must have been lost in the mail. I will never buy another Pulte home. STAY AWAY!!!

Hello, I was one of the first people to close on a smart home at Pulte and Georgia Power’s Altus at the Quarter development. Unfortunately, the high hopes I had for my new home were dealt a severe blow due to my horrible experience with closing on my new home. As an initial matter, I was pressured to close on the sale of my former home early so that I could close on my Pulte home on time. The mortgage and title process experience were great. I was able to get answers to questions in a timely matter. That is not true with customer service with their responsiveness to issues. Every call went to voicemail. I did not get call backs or in a timely manner. You will have some things like not having the air conditioning turned on, or the heat which is frustrating. Nice employees but poor company & quality. Still scraping paint from tiles, lots of flaws in paint job, drawers don’t close properly, electrical issues (lights in kitchen won’t work after 3.5 weeks of use), washer not functioning properly (part of deal)...the list goes on. I made a mistake purchasing a new home from PULTE. Love the neighborhood but with I had gone with a different builder.

At the time of booking the house everything looks good, they promise everything, but it is a real pain after paying the initial deposit, paperwork to get the loan from pulte mortgage is a real pain, they have no clue what they are asking and how to evaluate, they keep asking documents, they come back after a month again asking same and more documents, at the end they reject loan saying the underwriter is not accepting, in my case they said everything approved after i agreed for 60 % down, i liquidated my invenstments and before the closing date they come and tell me it is rejected from ...

Worst experience ever! Rudest people I have ever dealt with. Dishonest at every turn. Promotions are a game on numbers and a pure attempt to deceive. Dan is rude and unprofessional. Marci deceived us about short term rentals and never did anything to rectify the situation. Leo is the worst supervisor and used profanities while speaking to me and took no accountability for his incompetence. I will never work with Pulte again. When I reached to complain it was always someone will contact you and no one ever did. Stay away from Pulte Homes.

Lied throughout the whole process

I was lied to throughout the whole process by both Pulte and my Agent. I was told i could build a pool in the backyard and then found out once construction started there was a huge 15 ft drainage easement in my backyard that i cant build anything on. No one tried to help, Pulte essentially said too bad so sad. They tried to offer a different lot but none of them would work for our model home we wanted. Govany is the worst super you could get. unresponsive, no accountability and constantly blaming others for his short comings. We have to replace the our entire floor, garage floor, repair cabinets, countertops, windows, carpet, and shower glass still 2 moths after closing. all items we brought up well in advance of closing and initial walkthrough. Brand new home looks good outside, after move in we identified lot of issues in first month itself, very bad materials in all places, mainly the tiles are broken the Pulte representative came but he told it will not cover the broken was by your mistake. Very expensive starting from lot until utilities. Quality and workmanship is not up to the mark for the price paid for the home. Very limited walk through and that not adequate time provided. Floors on level is not even. Paid for many customization but most of them are below satisfactory level.

Site builder is a liar and a legal liability

I’ve dealt with many builders over the years of real estate investing. I have never had a builder sign on and submit legal documents signed and dated prior to the work actually being completed. On top of it, he was a straight jerk. You should fire Chad immediately before he costs you millions of dollars in legal fees.

Sales experience was poor, communication awful from the sales guy. Almost 2 months after closing we still have issues remaining that were present before or at closing. Having to fight to try and get things fixed. Quality of workmanship and materials used is terrible. Customer care not the best. Builders used our electric after we'd moved in, and Pulte are refusing to pay us for that. Would NOT recommend buying from Pulte at all, and certainly not at Hartford Terrace.
