Overall good experience and a well crafted home, however, the follow up on the inevitable punch list is frustrating and diminishes the joy of new home ownership.

We've had tons of issues caused by contractors taking shortcuts and spending more time hiding mistakes than fixing them. Every time we've reached out to Pulte, they've taken care of it and made it right. Just wished we didn't have to.

Home was purchased and I was assured that a Pulte person was in charge of making sure subcontractors did things right. Many items were caught on final walk through and it’s now two months later and still waiting for cabinets to be painted where there was clearly poor workmanship. Several other items took forever to address and was very obvious the painters and trades cared little as to the work they put in. At a price point way over 400000 you would think you could expect better. I would advise NOT to close until all is corrected. Two month and still waiting for painter on cabinets. Pulte failed to have their own walk through to catch everything and seems were hoping that buyer would miss most issues. This has NOT been a good experience. ... More

Pulte makes a great house that we really love that's energy efficient and a style we like. Responsiveness to emails and calls was great prior to closing. However, after about a week of living in the new house, we had a list of about 5 things needing fixed. After addressing these issues with the construction manager, there was no urgency or communication on when they would be fixed. After multiple contacts with him, it ultimately took going to the Pulte sales rep and having him crack the whip to get the construction manager to fix just one of the issues. And now its been almost a month and we still have 4 items outstanding we are needing fixed with no communication on when they will get done or any timeframe...just sending us in circles with a new construction manager with no solution. Before we moved into the house I was encouraged to fill out a survey leaving all 5 stars, so I did. But now I feel like I put the cart before the horse as responsiveness has dropped off since we closed. Unfortunately moving in from another state, I was unable to attend the walkthrough and had the realtor do it, so I was unaware of the issues prior to closing as she did not catch these things. Nails are poking through the siding. The gutters were installed improperly. My patio concrete was broken. My floors aren't level and need to be removed and replaced. My walls weren't sanded before being painted. There are zero smooth corners in the house. I have "orange peel" all over my walls and ceilings. My windows aren't hung level. There are very few 90 degree corners in my house. The trusses in my attic are covered in MOLD. My shower was installed with broken tiles and a shoddy repair was done, the entire shower needs to he ripped out and redone. My ducts werent attached to the vents and I have insulation blowing into the house. The shower doors were installed improperly and had to be replaced. I could list more issues from my two month old house but I'll wait and see if "it can be done better". ... More

We have had a very pleasant experience with Pulte. With any builder, there will be some bumps in the road along the way. We ran into a couple, and Pulte got everything resolved. We absolutely love our new home!

I was pleased with the price but the workmanship was left to be desired. There is still painting that needs to be done we need new carpets because the worked got paint on them.

I always like Pulte homes floor plans because plans are designed keeping customer needs in minds and plans are suitable for all ages. I like Pulte site plans too , it provides bigger lots and nice backyards, and home elevations are modern and nice. But quality of workmanship varies from property to property due to lots of third party vendors ( multiple companies works with Pulte for same Community) . I observed same plan , same upgrades installed and constructed different way and quality levels are different, field officers response varies from client to client. Experience with Sales Office was good , but we wish we should have known all other available upgrades upfront so that customer might have customized as per their personal interest. Sales person are very friendly and very cooperative , but on flip side sale persons do not explains each and every upgrades i.e electric switches, wiring options, USB port details etc.. Backsplash design and color selections are very limited., Lighting included in base price very poor quality. Overall I have mixed experience in dealing with Pulte. My Suggestions: 1)Placement of pull down attic should have been better in some plans. 2)There should be an option to take out PPC and upgrade to something else. 3)Deck size should have been little bigger on crawlspace homes (specially length from home , 8 feet is not good enough) ... Poor quality materials used quality of work done

When the contractors came back to finish touch-ups, I feel they gave better quality and didn't rush - they did a VERY good job. There are drops of paint that stand out in the overall paint job of the house. Upon closer inspection, stain on the stairs has drip marks and the hand rail didn't look like it had a complete stain at the top end. In the MBath the one side of the molding wasn't painted. The overflow holes' covers in the bathroom sinks are scratched up and I assume are old/re-used. Failed radon test and wasn't compensated enough to cover the fee for fixing it. Guest BR gets VERY cold - will need to be re-assessed if 5 degree difference. With door closed there is 10 degree difference. ... More

Perfect building

Pulte Homes built good quality house and their kind and patient sale consultant and field manager help buyer a lot,highly recommend Pulte Homes.

We love our home. Best house to fit our family and we feel lucky to have found this place.

Pulte builds beautiful homes , however disappointed with them overlooking the attention to details and poor communication throughout the build process.

We love the location and the final product. There were definitely bumps along the way including an immediate price decrease, right after we had purchased and locked in our price and problems with easements on our property that were not disclosed in the sales process.

I recently purchased a new condominium from Pulte Homes (Lofts at Reston Station) and it has been a nightmare. I hear every footstep from the upstairs neighbor, as well as other noise. Pulte staff promised that you would not hear noise from neighbors, but they refuse to complete a sound inspection or take measures to mitigate the noise.

Also I would like to mention my salesperson Elli Morriatis. She is the best! Very professional and helpful. I wish everyone be like her!

On site construction manager was very helpful in explaining the home building process/detail and addressing our concerns. He shared the construction status every week. We had very pleasant experience through the entire home building process.

A lot of promises up front, but a disappointing process. Poor workmanship, little attention to detail, disrespect for the property. All inside doors poor quality, cheapest, not solid, they are hollow. Phone calls not returned. Front yard landscaping had collapsed area next to driveway on closing day, and they installed two trees that are inappropriate selections for the size of the yard. Wish I had shopped around more.

Purchased new Pulte model smart townhouse. No one would explain WI FI.

Best shopping experience a first-time home owner could ask for. I know, it’s my first, so “I can’t compare”. But I am a Customer Service professional with high expectations and love for attention to detail. Pulte delivered. Period.

First time homeowner, had a very well detailed explanation of process. Dyanna helped us out with our so many questions! Home was completed ahead of schedule by 4 weeks! Thanks to Kris our field mgt. who kept us in the loop with construction. Even with our new set of questions. Overall, a great experience, never felt on our own, helpful and supportive team in all aspects! Thanks for everything!
