Home seems pretty good and well built

I will say that the project managers Norman and John return our call promptly and do everything they can to resolve and problems as soon as possible.

Good homes . Very professional staff. We moved in last year in November and our experience has been great so far.

Check all work for quality and workmanship. Slow response in getting any issues fixed.

Quality work is absent

Like many other large companies Pulte sells stability and process driven builds. Our experience however was not the best after the sales processes. 1) We had 3 field manager changes and we did not get acclimated to the process until about 5 steps in. 2) While the field manager did his best to rectify issues, the workmanship of the house was still just a little off (examples below) a) our cabinet drawers are still very stiff and do not slide back and forth well with daily use. Of course during our walkthrough they made sure the drawers slid as well as they could. But as soon as we put 3 pots in they all started acting up. The cabinets themselves also have large gaps between the frame and the doors themselves but they fit into the "pulte" standard. b) Our hotwater heater stopped working correctly 5 days in and we needed to get someone out to fix it c) The door to our garage broke one month in.. and we have had to exit the house and go around to the garage to leave the house everyday. d) Every single window and sliding door is super hard to close. I have to slam or maneuver many of them just to get them to fit and lock. It is not all bad though as their customer service team is very quick to try and resolve issues but sometimes due to the quality of vendors you get what you get. The appliances provided are also fairly nice as I am enjoying using my chef's range and dual oven/microwave. ... More

Happy with entire experience. On site manager was great and very responsive to any concerns.

I’m disappointed. The workmanship is below average. In my opinion they rushed to build my home so they can get it off inventory before the year ended. I have issues with the lawn, bugs and pest as well. They planted dead grass and trees and now the landscaper said there is a fungus in the grass. They should just replace it rather than telling me they fertilized it and just wait.

I was lucky to buy another new home prior to this purchase. The home buying experience was pretty ordinary compared to the last one. Their inflexibility with options for a home that costs over 800k is laughable.

Very disappointed with the amount of issues that the home had since moving in, and the amount of time it is taking to get these issues addressed and resolved. My closing date was 11/15/19, and as of now (1/08/20)I still have approximately 20 items on my list that I continue emailing to your team on a weekly basis. Quite a few of these issues were pointed out prior to moving in, and did not get addressed at the time. Anderson has been proactive with trying to help to get issues resolved, however most of them should of been resolved prior to closing.

People who work in Pulte are professional and responsible.

The worst builder so many problems so many missing stuff

The only positive from building this house was Dave, the construction manager. He helped always and was very kind and caring. We have many areas where paint is there. We have many dents in our drywall that were just painted over and never filled in. We have paint drips all over the house on our floors. The three external doors all close wrong and weather striping is coming off. We have huge ditches in our yard that the city said had to be made or we'd have flooding. No one compensated us for no yard now but charged us additional money for a corner lot. At least they could have taken away the extra charge for the lot to compensate us for having no yard. We may have 15 x 20 piece of yard to have outside fun in. Our side yard on the garage side is so slanted that you can not even walk down that side of the house. We paid extra for a side garage door to go in and out of and we can not even use. They forgot the door and had to cut the concrete on the garage footings to put the door in. They also do not have the concrete slab outside the door attached to the foundation. Plus it is so high you a difficult time steppng onto it. It also has the under gravel showing and no dirt covering it. We have a dog and can not even put a fence up because of the deep ditches. Now for Morgan at the mortgage company. She made our life miserable with her uneducated knowledge of the closing process. We knew more than she did and had to tell her numerous times what she needed or needed to do for us. She even stepped in for someone off on our day of closing and caused us a huge delay in our delivery of our furniture etc. from our movers because she said she didn't have the correct paperwork even though the person doing the closing had received it from them and had it on the closing paperwork. She did nothing to help but did more to make us crazy. We would tell people at Plute at different levels and they would ask who we were speaking of and we'd say Morgan and they'd go Oh. Like they had heard this many times before about her. I also used your insurance company for our house and haven't received anything regarding it or paid for anything. I keep having to ask for information and help to get our house covered. I will have to do this again today to see if we do have house coverage. So I'd say we have NOT had much good come from buying a house from Pulte from many of the Pulte owned companies. Sad to see the workmanship on something you pay hard earned money for. ... More

Choice of hanging lights or being left out should be buyers. This was a rediculous additional cost to have yours taken down and donated and paying to have new ones put up. Dimmer lights should be an option. Again additional cost to the buyer. More center island outlets needed We are not first time buyers and have a home at the beach and mountains plus 2 rentals.

We are happy with our new home, but the build process wasn’t seamless. We are still fixing issues after move-in.

We made the mistake of planning move-in based on the dates the builder had given us. They made the date for closing but many items were missed or sloppily done for to make the date. After closing, we walked into workers in the house cutting holes in the drywall and hap-haphazardly installing the back splash tiles with all the associated mess. 6 Weeks later, we are still trying to get many items addressed. Most customizations we asked for were not allowed and any "late" changes to the order caused problems.
