The effort to work with me and go over & above to grant my requests was outstanding. The value for the price was very good.

Anyone building with Pulte better hope they get a great supervisor as we did. He ensured the subcontractors build everything to plan, and most importantly the correct way.

I searched the web for reviews on Pulte before signing my contract and most were pretty bad reviews. Unfortunately for me, I moved forward with the purchase and here I am, adding to the bad reviews. I should have known better and I'll be kicking myself for a long time. Overall, the subcontractors performed subpar work and all their work went unsupervised by the Pulte field manager. The field manager told me during and after construction that he was too busy to supervise and quality control the subcontractors. That's great news for a new homeowner. (The cheapest subs Pulte can find are building my house with no supervision) I believe the field manager because I saw the poor workmanship for myself and really felt it after I moved in and uncovered multiple problems. I have been in my home for 6-weeks now and still can't take a shower in my master bath due to poor workmanship. My issues were not specific to me, 3 out of 4 of my neighbors had a major issue immediately after taking possession of the home. The staff was very personable and dedicated to providing me with the best customer experience. I was informed about the specific construction standards that they do which sets this builder apart from other builders.

This is our second Pulte home in this area. Buying experience was great but getting some issues addressed hasn't been - virtually no contact thus far. Previous experience was much more issue friendly.

There's a lot of things I'm starting to see in the house that I might have issues with. I haven't used the warranty yet but some of these things should have been taken care of when the house was built

Bought my home after seeing their model house but the one they constructed for me had all sorts of issues. They also changed the exterior layout of what they promised at the sale time. The date of completion was pushed back to 2 months and there was no clear visibility as when they will be really done.

Anderson has been very responsive to my needs as a homeowner. He has been very prompt and is constantly in communication with me about work that needs to be done to my new home. I do wish that my paint kit would show up but that is beyond his control. My field manager Victor still owes me a window since the original one that was installed is scratched that issue is coming up on two months without a resolution.

Take your time and not rush things and you'll have a good experience

The new home was ready in the timeline that I was promised. The Pulte team was with me every step of the way and identified any issues during my walk through. These issues were fixed in an appropriate time frame. It is nice to be in a brand new home where everything works the way it should.

Spend time on the details

Pulte seems great on the surface, but the more 3rd party inspections we had and the longer we live in the house its very clear how bad of a job they did and covered parts up so you wouldn't notice. We had shelves falling over after 2 months of use, our garage drains towards the house, not out the garage door, doors hung wrong, tack strips poking through the carpet to the point they were drawing blood if stepped on, with no one offering to properly fix anything and just add more band aids over top. Some of my issues I pointed out during the buying process, was promised it would be fixed, promised it did get fixed then later I find out that none of that was true and its the exact same as it was before. All they care about now is money, not quality, or making good homes. Most of the contractors don't show any pride in their work, and its clear that instead of getting a slightly better contractor, Pulte just hopes you don't notice. Some things are done beautifully though, for example our tile work was done suburb. I hope in the next few years I can fix all the issues they have left me and have the home that I paid for. ... Roof leaked in bedroom. Painting could be better, missed spots and left big drips.

The basic home is very well contructed. The finish work is not quite as good. Not bad just not up to residential standards.

Overall, I am very happy with the home and the purchasing process. There are some very minor issues with the workmanship such as gaps, wood separating in certain areas, doors not closing easily, etc. Most of this stuff are cosmetic or easily fixable. We'll address these in our first warranty list. I took one star off from Responsiveness to issues is that there was a noticeable cosmetic defect in the outside of the house that we pointed out in the walk through, and that has not been addressed yet. Again, this will be listed in our warranty list.

The overall purchasing/ building of our Pulte Home was very positive. Everyone involved was very helpful. If you do have a larger vehicle, I'd recommend a three car garage so there is additional room in your garage. Everything about our home I absolutely love, except I wish my garage was larger or at least longer. Overall a nice first build experience. This is my third home and it is so nice to have everything NEW,

Rushed in the very beginning to give a rating on how pleased we were. After being here for a little over a month I can see why...

I feel this House was rushed to be built and closed on for financial gains. Numerous craftmanship and material issues, most that were addressed at walk through, have not been resolved. It is now two months past closing and we're still waiting for simple things to be repaired and or replaced. This was my first time purchasing a new home, and it has been far from a pleasant experience for me or my family.

This is my 3rd new house and the craftsmanship is disappointing, cheap materials, poor paint job, doors rub/warped. We have only been here a short time and now we are having appliance issues. The construction workers do not respect that someone is living here now, starting work before 7 am, parking in front of my house so guest can not, blocking my driveway. The supervisor was nice offering help after we moved in but he left with out introducing us to his replacement, abandoned us.

Overall home buying experience was excellent. Jane the sales person helped us all the way and made things easy. I would definitely recommend Pulte home to family and frinds

Cabinets and drawers should be inspected thoroughly. Some of my drawers were not properly fastened. Paint droplets are everywhere.
