Trustworthiness is frequently surfacing due to how the Pulte Group responds to the homeowner once the property is turned over to the owner. This brief survey does not allow for specifics only general response(s). The longer that I own the home, the less Pulte is interested in my concerns, expectations or grievances. This is across the board from sales to repairs. Talking to other homeowners in my neighborhood, they have similar experiences also.

Pulte Homes responded:
We are so disappointed to hear that you have had a hard time getting in touch with us regarding your concerns and we would like to look into your situation. If you could email socialcare@pultegroup.com we would greatly appreciate it. ^Abby

New Pulte Home Review - Purchased 9 August 2019

My wife and I purchased this new home when we moved to Texas from Georgia. The house has major air conditioning issues to this day that have not been corrected (12 A/C service calls), there have been multiple issues that had to be addressed that should have been caught by the builder before we closed yet were identified after closing, the master bedroom closet shelves collapsed, and the overall effort of the Pulte team to address customers concerns with their new homes after closing is below average to say the least. My experience with Pulte with regards to repairs after closing has not been ...

The quality of our new home is sub-par. After moving in we noticed that 2 walls in the middle of our home aren't even close to straight. They're slated to be repaired but being that were occupying the home now it will be a big inconvenience. Our A/C unit wasn't wired correctly and shorted out leaving us without air while 100+ outside and by the time it was repaired it was almost 90 in our home. Considering we just lost our home in a fire the potential to have another fire was concerning. When we moved in we discovered that the water valves in both bathrooms were installed backwards and we ...

4 1/2 months after closing I still do not have my irrigation system or yard installed. Horrible customer service full of threats, but they do not follow through on anything that they commit to. I used Pulte Title and they did not pay the insurance at closing, although they say the check must have been lost in the mail. I will never buy another Pulte home. STAY AWAY!!!

Bad Closing Experience

Hello, I was one of the first people to close on a smart home at Pulte and Georgia Power’s Altus at the Quarter development. Unfortunately, the high hopes I had for my new home were dealt a severe blow due to my horrible experience with closing on my new home. As an initial matter, I was pressured to close on the sale of my former home early so that I could close on my Pulte home on time. Therefore, I worked with my buyer to move up the closing date to May, as I was informed that my new home would be ready to close at the end of May. However, my Pulte closing date was pushed back by two ...

The mortgage and title process experience were great. I was able to get answers to questions in a timely matter. That is not true with customer service with their responsiveness to issues. Every call went to voicemail. I did not get call backs or in a timely manner. You will have some things like not having the air conditioning turned on, or the heat which is frustrating. It took 3 weeks after I moved in to get a trash can. This was the responsibility of the hoa and their hired management company. What were the homeowner of the condo to do in the interim? The move-in experience needs to be ...

Nice employees but poor company & quality. Still scraping paint from tiles, lots of flaws in paint job, drawers don’t close properly, electrical issues (lights in kitchen won’t work after 3.5 weeks of use), washer not functioning properly (part of deal)...the list goes on. I made a mistake purchasing a new home from PULTE. Love the neighborhood but with I had gone with a different builder.

Overall buying experience was not great. We voiced our concerned with the boss on site (Darrian) and were told things will be done on time. The day we closed wasn’t really a “celebration” when we arrived to do our final walk of the home we found guys working on the roof, driveway was a mess, garage was a mess, painting wasn’t complete inside the home, we voiced our concerned about the temp difference between upstairs and downstairs and that wasn’t resolved, took forever for hot water to arrive throughout the entire home and he thought that was normal. So many other things went wrong and the ...

The home inspection uncovered numerous problems, but they haven't addressed a single one. Many issues remain unresolved; they're simply stalling for time. If I had to choose again, I would absolutely not buy a house from this developer; they are absolutely terrible. I would also not recommend them to any of my friends.

Having owned homes from several other builders in the Bay Area, this was my first experience with Pulte, and it has been deeply disappointing. The sales team provided poor communication and a lack of guidance throughout the process. Even the key handover was impersonal, with no agent present. Furthermore, the construction quality is subpar compared to competitors; specifically, the driveway concrete is so poorly finished that cement washes away when watered. I would advise other buyers to be cautious before choosing Pulte.

Careful when purchasing a home with Pulte Homes in Bison Ridge…. Stay AWAY from RUBEN he is only interested in selling you a house and he will make you fill like he understands you and he will make you feel like he will go all the way with you, but if you bring a realtor things shift for the worst you will NEVER hear from him again not even to show his face and congratulate you for purchasing a new home. Prior to purchasing a new home in Oakwood, my Husband and I owned 4 previous homes ( a combination of new construction and resales built by various national builders). I would not recommend this builder. The overall quality of work was disappointing, with several issues that should not happen in a professional build. Communication was inconsistent, and it often felt like concerns were not taken seriously or addressed in a timely manner. And the final result did not meet expectations. For such a significant investment, you expect attention to detail, reliability, and accountability — all of which were lacking here. I would strongly suggest doing thorough research and considering other builders before making a decision.

Within the first week after moving in, the AC system did not work, leaving us without cooling. It took significant effort to get attention to the issue. There were also structural changes made without proper approval, which is very concerning for a new construction home. Communication with Pulte has been extremely poor.
