Bought my home after seeing their model house but the one they constructed for me had all sorts of issues. They also changed the exterior layout of what they promised at the sale time. The date of completion was pushed back to 2 months and there was no clear visibility as when they will be really done.

Disappointed with Pulte Service

Have been many issues and I have given my feedback earlier with details. So do not want to repeat those - but I would not recommend any of my friends to buy from here. I think Pulte quality has deteriorated.

Terrible Home Build

Terrible customer service. Entire neighborhood in Blackrock is upset about the problems and multitude of issues they have had with their home. Beer bottles found in our attic left from their workers. Our entire flooring has to be re-done. Cabinets were putting In incorrectly. We have paint issues all over the home. Broken doors and selves in the bathroom closets and storage spaces. Broken doors that were not replaced. Incorrect placement of dual twin water heaters. Incorrect plumbing that was done and needed to have plumbers come and correct. Things as simple as having the toilet rolls placed ...

Our Pulte construction PM was great to work with but outside of that there was little positive that came from our build. I would not recommend Pulte and/or Holland Pools

Make sure you want to conduct business with Pulte before signing your contract

Try to come to the community with a Realtor to represent you and help you in the process as some of the conversations with Sales are vague and will not go into details about what you could get in your home. Yes, they will go over pricing of additions but you'll discover the reality at the Design Center appointment and some more while your home is being built. Also hire an Inspector to do your phased home inspection as we had lots of flaws brought to them during the inspection reports during construction that we would not know about if we just hired an inspector for the before closing ...

Very frustrated with the purchase

Right until the contract is signed everything worked great but after that things fell apart. Major issues were never communicated like garage size was totally wrong where car won't fit and was not even communicated by builder. After we moved there were issues and when warranty is contacted there is either no response or they say it is not covered under warranty. Very frustrated with this purchase and will never recommend Pulte.

Bad customer service. Bad finish’s on the house. Nothing lineup. And they promised to have an individual within the first month to take care of any issues and it’s has been a month an half and no response!!!! Be careful and check out all final touch’s especially your windows, (top and bottom not the exact measurement). Bad work over all.

Great Disappointment

I am a widow with two children I am raising on my own. In order to lower my stress level, I chose to buy a new home thinking that I would have no worries. Since moving in 6 weeks ago, the basement has been torn up and replumbed, the water heater leaked, the furnace/thermostat needed replacement, the oven is leaking gas, front door needs to be repainted and 50% of the laminate flooring was improperly installed and will be torn up. I have gotten an unsatisfactory response from Pulte management. It seems as though the speed to finish the homes has greatly affected the quality.

We tried to bail out at closing but was talked into it by the Pulte MORG people They were great. Jenny has been 0 helpful we are on our third iteration of drying to get our walls even remotely able to live in. She has zero followup and we are made to fill like we are just a pain. She has asked us not to fill this out this questionnaire because she is bonused on this but after on 1 month inspection and her not following up to see our thought on the two days of labor. Cheap construction and unfinished for the price.

For the price we paid for this house it should have been completed. Like the concrete should have been sealed, the grout should have been sealed, the granite countertops should have been sealed, the garage should have been fully insulated and dry walled, the garage doors should have been insulated. I could go on and on. I would NOT recommend anyone to buying one of Pulte overpriced unfinished houses. Then after closing it took more than 30 days to get a approved Occupancy Certificate..... And should I talk about the lack of getting problems resolved in a timely manner......... no offense ...

The Pulte home we just purchased is our fourth new home purchase and has been the most disappointing experience by far. Pulte is the exclusive builder in the area we purchased in. After numerous meetings with a sales agent we were not made aware of some key design options. One was very important and not explained thoroughly. The total costs for what I consider to be modest upgrades represented more than 50% of the base cost of the home/lot. An example of the lack of trustworthiness is on our cabinets. Terrible post closure experience

The following transgressions have happened since moving into my home via the contractor next door: Pulte did nothing to stop theft of Water and Electricity. Came home to workers helping themselves to my water and power. This happened multiple days, had to call police to arrest behavior. Contractors working next door splashed stucco on my Vehicle and the windows of my home. They made a mudhole out of my grass on that side of the house. The quality of workmanship on these houses is extremely disappointing. 1 month in and they have to replace the sub-floor in the laundry room because it has a huge hump in it (FYI-Pulte knows this is an existing issue in all Modena homes) and have to tear apart and move a wall because it is not straight/square with the rest of the area. This shows the poor workmanship by the framer. The framer comes in and complains the whole time about making the repair and blaming it on other trades. We are extremely dissatisfied with Party. There are numerous, five pages of items that were supposed to be fixed prior to move in. There were only a couple things fixed prior to distribution. We have been fixed, we have made schedule changes to be home a few of the items are addressed instead of all, wasting our time. Paint and drywall disgusting completely unacceptable.

I would not buy from Pulte again.

The quality of the workmanship and problems/issues within the first two months of moving in is beyond acceptable. Over 40 errors in the home build at the closing walkthrough. Construction Manager refuses to communicate about fixing the problems at 8 weeks into my 12-month warranty. Our kitchen ceiling has had two roof leaks within 8 weeks of living in the home.

Nightmare

Close date was pushed out 6 months. Sewage backups in brand new home ceiling drywall cut out carpets n padding removed. Pre close punch list still outstanding 2 months later. Lack out concern from builder builder.

I have had several issues with my home. Some have been taken care of and some haven’t due to the incompetence and irresponsibility of the company. Several times I have been told someone would come to fix things and they never came at the scheduled time due to a miscommunication on Pulte’s side and them not ordering the materials they said would. I have emailed the fields manger about another thing that came up. Part of my bathroom cabinet fell and it looks like the wood wasn’t place right and it’s uneven. No response. I’m disgusted. I’m paying a lot of money to a poor quality company.
