Upon purchasing my home I was told about several walk through processes that would happen to ensure my satisfaction with the house. None of those meetings have been accomplished, and when multiple issues arrived including drainage issues and flooding the company was not available to speak on important foundational issues. I was so excited to build with Pulte as we had purchased a model home from them three years ago. We had picked out the perfect lot and did over $100k in upgrades too! I had expected a few bumps in the road but not as many as we went through. This review doesn't allow me to put zero stars so I had to put one. I was lied to repeatedly by the salesperson and project manager saying that I would not hear the train inside of my townhouse if all my windows and doors were shut. I repeated it back to both of them and they said "YES". I have witnesses btw too. When the train goes by it's so loud it's difficult to carry on a conversation in my home or hear the TV....but that's not the worst of it....when I went on my walk thru the home was visibly not cleaned. This is the second home from Pulte we purchased because of the quality work based on the first one. Unfortunately, the quality of the workmanship and materials on this new house is so poor, we just can’t even compare to the first one or even some fixer uppers. Doors and door frames are refurbished with new paints over them but still can be seen visibility on the outside with dents and uneven surface. I absolutely love our new home, but am so not satisfied with the quality of the workmanship. Many items we noticed while our house was being built and brought it to the attention of the superintendent on more than one occasion. We are not happy about our experience with Pulte. There are so many issues I don’t know where to begin. Pulte could not close on agreed closing date, fireplace wrong stone color, lawn irrigation has leaks and wrong placement of irrigation heads, no mailbox for 6 weeks, no internet for 5 weeks, huge drainage problem backyard, dishwasher didn’t work, no water to refrigerator, did not clean house very well, sloppy careless work on just about everything, etc., etc., etc.

I really liked it when I toured the model house. However, after I moved in and living here for about couple months now, I am very disappointed that how poorly its made and there are so many little things that have issues. For example, our kitchen island is not leveled correctly, so when there is water spilled, it falls down to the edge and dropped to the floor. sloppy workmanship and not responsive

Pulte homes are built so quickly and with the cheapest materials. They sacrifice quality for the sake of completing the home to turnover quickly to satisfy shareholders. I have a full page list of items that need to be repaired, a stained kitchen sink, a broken drawer, paint on tiles, hinges, carpet, dead plants, etc. Scheduled the repairs with warrantee department but they never showed or call. Found out later that AG was on vacation. Suggest looking at every tile, molding, well everything. before closing or buy from another builder.

Very disorganized (if not a total mess) and stressful in your loan processing. Almost missed the deadline, and we had to switch program at the last minute. The actual footage is over 10% smaller than advertised.

If you are considering a Pulte home, I would strongly encourage you not to! This experience has been nothing but a nightmare. Quality and attention to detail are severely lacking. After spending a significant amount of time after closing having contractors correct items, they actually have created more issues and damages because no one from Pulte is managing the process. Pulte relies in the homeowner to find things or otherwise they hedge on it being overlooked.

The home was not completed, had a gigantic list of cosmetic issues that weren't small. Very poor quality build, Pulte as a whole can care less about customer service. I would never recommend a Pulte home to anyone that I know and I would never consider purchasing a Pulte home in the future in any capacity. My advice.. Run....

We were very disappointed with Pulte in almost every step of the process. It started with the offer of incentives to use Pulte Mortgage which was not competitive and they changed their numbers on what our payment would be through an “honest” mistake. Needless to say we shopped around then and found much better rates/payment. Loan match guarantee? Promised- but couldn’t do. Work that was supposed to be finished prior to closing, was not. Spending hours of our time to get issues fixed. Not a positive experience.

All I can say is that I would never recommend Pulte to anyone ever! There is dried plaster and junk under the carpet so we step on bumps all over the floor, painting and trim work is terrible inside and out.. I can go on and on!!

This house is by far the worst quality build I have had in all my homes. We have safety issues in our yard that has not been correct after several requests. This is a common theme they do not follow through. Myself and other in our neighborhood agree that there is a lack of oversight on the subcontractors.
