The process was ok. Some deceptive initial sales tactics. Adding in random lot prices that fluctuate. Not adding radon remediation when it’s obvious that the ground had potential radon - being an old farm. Our construction mgr Dan was great. Honest. Trustworthy. At closing we had several issues which are still not remedied two mos later. One was our backyard not draining properly- yet our neighbors had an entire work crew adding dirt and seed the same day they moved in. I have asked for an update and heard nothing. And now it is too late for grass to grow.

The builder was great to work with. The only thing I would recommend is staying on top of the small details (molding, painting, etc.) some of that was poorly done but the house in general was beautiful.

Overall the house is great but there are many quality issues we have discovered. To start, the vanity lights in 2 of our bathrooms have fallen out. Our living room carpet is so thin, we can feel the nail strip underneath. The kids have had multiple injuries since they don’t typically wear socks or shoes in the house. Under our basement carpet floor, we can feel Little Rocks so it doesn’t seem like the floor was cleaned prior to laying the carpet. Our door locks have to be positioned a certain way in order to lock properly. And lastly, Some of the trim does not meet the floor.

Don't trust them. What they say and what they do are 2 totally different things. Was told my garage would have an extra step or 2 into my house. Ended up with 5 steps and a whole landing. I can't fit my car in the garage. Secondly, was told numerous times that I would have a prewire for a light fixture above my dining room table. They installed a prewire for a ceiling fan which is a much smaller box so my chandelier can't be installed correctly. They are saying the ceiling fan prewire is correct. Who would install a ceiling fan above their dining room table? They are very untrustworthy. ...

Very unhappy with what we paid for. Feels very unfinished. Outdoor landscaping is a mess. inside wood flooring was installed incorrect wood type and we’re still having issues. Regretting my home buying decision.

Beautiful homes, but poor customer experience and sloppy worksmanship

Overall we love our home because it’s our home but the buying process with Pulte was painful, stressful and not pleasant. There were many times we wondered if we made the right decision. The contractors are just sloppy with their work and the sales people are completely untrustworthy. If the customer experience was better, they’d really be at the top of the game because the home designs are beautiful. Purchase with caution and just know what you’re getting into.

What was supposed to be an amazing fresh start in a new community is suddenly feeling like "a cash grab" by the builders. First, the house looks amazing, feels amazing, but then when you really get moved in you start to notice the poor craftsmanship of the house. Our first week, fire alarms constantly going off. Our second week, vents falling off the wall because not properly secured on the drywall. Our third week, I noticed how badly of a job they did on our oak staircase. My ticket was opened up 2 months ago now. The first attempt to fix it, the person came to our house for 4-5 hours ...

If I could give 0 stars I would. They have been dishonest and difficult throughout the entire process. We’ve had several issues arising from overall poor workmanship and negligence on part of their subcontractors which they refuse to take responsibility for. They nickel and dimed us for several upgrades, but bait and switched us and subbed out for things that were cheaper than what we had paid for. They have been dishonest and the quality of their homes cannot be justified by their price. I would not recommend at all.

Very Poor Quality. They don't take ownership, and there is no quality check. They just want to close the house ASAP. Once you close the house, they will just make some lame excuse in the name of "We are not a custom builder; we are a Production builder." It feels like I bought a remodeled house at the price of a New House.

I’ve had a disappointing experience with Pulte. They make big promises during the contract phase but fail to deliver. There are numerous issues in my new house that I did not expect to see in brand-new construction. My construction manager was unresponsive and seemed indifferent, neglecting to check the quality of materials or the dimensions of rooms, cabinets, and windows as the house was being built. Used cheap materials & unprofessional job. Very disappointed with Pulte builder. Builder used cheap labor which benefited them only but the buyer had to suffer and comprise with final product being horrible. Everything seemed done with rush just to get it done. I have seen other builder new homes and I am very disappointed with Pulte builder for not putting their buyers satisfaction as Priority.
