In my opinion we had way to many issues. Issues included, insulation, cement, electrical, communication, and follow through on request requests.

I have had considerable issues during the build. Some just normal things that are expected during construction ,and others quite surprising lapses by sub contractors and even planning by land architect or engineer. while I will not list every issue suffice it to say electrical , and HVAC subs were subpar . Two months after closing and we are still working on the punch list. That said, Jack. D., our construction Manager is the sole bright spot in this process. There were quite a few issues with the house from day one. We now have a timeline for fixing most issues, but it has taken a month to get movement on some issues. The most critical issues (toilets backed up, shower not draining and water pouring into porch) we’re corrected in a timely manner. We are still awaiting our wine fridge. It does not appear that a great deal of attention to detail was provided by the tradespeople. We do love our home and look forward to enjoying it once the issues are corrected.

We were pretty disappointed in the condition of the home at close. We found all kinds of issues with the painting and we find more every day. Lots of dings in the wood that were just painted over, a poor paint job overall with many areas were the paint ran down the wall or peeled away where a door was closed with wet paint. So many painting issues that we’ll probably need to repaint the interior ourselves. We recently closed on our home and love the house however I'm not sure how to rate it just yet as there are some concerns with our home that we are waiting on to be addressed by the warranty department. Our agent was nice but she forgot some things that we wanted in our home. Our building manager was great about keeping us posted on updates during the building process. I’m not happy with the craftsmanship of the work done in the house. I feel like the whole building process was rushing and affected the final product. All contractors came to do their job and run to the next place without proper quality assurance. My experience was a constant effort to tell Pulte to fix things according to my standard expectations of buying a new house (considering this is the third house I bought). And finally, the materials used were traditional. Nothing special regarding the materials used.

The quality of work is extremely poor, the finishingwork such as the trim, paint is very disappointing for being a pulte home. In Charlotte NC, Pulte had a reputation for Excellence but i havnt found it hear in the Johns island Arbor community which i bought in. I spent over $500,00 buying and adding items to my home. Im still waiting on my punch list to be completed and I closed on march 13th 2020, I understand about the corona19 ut had no contact after being g told it would be taken care of.

Workmanship sloppy in areas. Paint applied with one coat most places; lacks quality finishing detail touches throughout; bathroom sink smeared with glue. Sound proofing concern - can hear toilet flushing and sink draining through pipes above our bedroom. Screening on porch was lowest quality screen size. Home was not cleaned as expected. Since we had to be out of the area until move in, we were not ready for the movers to bring things into the new home. Wall dust was everywhere and many areas had not received a final wipe down after walkthrough as directed.

Some details of lot layouts and community buildout were not shared prior to purchase as most would expect. Parts of the community with excellent retention of shade trees and landscaping, other areas not. Overall an OK experience at the Oakfield price point with minor issues post-move in. Paint quality is absolute builder grade and some of the recessed light fixtures were not well installed. Paint will mark easily forcing repainting after movers. The houses go together quickly. Pulte Group sells under multiple names - at least five other than Pulte Homes. We bought a spec home that was already under construction. Consequently, we were able to modify some attributes of the home, but not others as they basically assemble a "package" for the construction of each home. The salesman was very helpful in securing some of the modifications we desired, but he was unable to achieve others such as upgraded kitchen appliances and changing tub/showers to showers. I was dissatisfied with Pulte Homes. I think possibility the majority of the people in the development was unhappy with Pulte (be interesting to take a poll). I have a 35 year construction background. Our home quality of workmanship is below average. Their was code violations not caught by their third party inspections. Our project was in the Charleston County area of South Carolina. I point my finger at CCBD for not being on top of what was going. Beware of the contract, Pulte will make note they can substitute like materials from one house to another.

First let me say we do like our new home. During building we had to contact the project manager due to poor workmanship and poor overall quality of finished work. Our major issue that remains unresolved and frankly ignored by Pulte is the driveway. We purchased this model to have two bays one specifically for a golf cart. The driveway is too narrow and of shape making it impossible to use the golf cart bay. We are reaching our tolerance for action by Pulte and reaching out for legal advice.

I was very excited about building this home because I knew it would be our forever home. I have had 4 other homes, 3 of which we had built. I have never felt so frustrated about this process. The carelessness in workmanship has been so disappointing. Thankfully, we have ended up with a nice home but some changes really need to be made with this builder.

Pulte rushed delivering our home; therefore, quality suffered significantly. Workmanship was very poor overall; the lack of oversight of the contractors is evident everywhere. The warranty department has been very responsive in fixing issues, but with much inconvenience to us since we already moved-in. The fixes are also very poor as far as workmanship goes. This is the third new house I have owned and by far the worst quality and moving-in experience. Previous builders were D.R. Horton and Lennar.
