Good experience, highly professional, defined processes, good quality and timely responses. Base model has very less choices and most of the basic items are part of upgrades. Offer Mortgage, Insurance and other services for easy coordination. Friendly staff and construction Managers

Poor Quality, Never for a Long-term Home

I do not have a door bell. The placement of the downstairs thermostat is behind where your TV is. The light in the kitchen / dining area is no where near where a table should be. Why is the outside spicket in the garage? Also, unless you drive two compact cars, the garage is not a two-car one. It isn’t a bad floor-plan. The master bedroom is nice a big with a function walk-in closet and large master bathroom. Overall, Pulte builds a substandard product with very little attention to detail.

The baseboard had so many rough joints and most of them were not sanded after painted. Missing caulk line everywhere. Tiles are not level, and had over cuts under many door frames.

If the model home would have had the fit and finish and paint work that our home has, I would have never bought a Pulte Home. I would fire the painters and the finish carpenters on the spot. This is our 5th house and by far the worst fit and finished house. The bright spot is that Pulte has a good warranty department. Lisa has been wonderful to work with. We have already had several warranty claims and Lisa has had the workers to come out in a timely manner.

Everything starts out well and goes smooth until about 6+ months in. Completion seemed to drag out well past what we thought but then finally wrapped up very quickly at the end but with items still left to be completed after closing. You obviously agree because you’ve been waiting so long and are just ready to close. Once you close it’s like pulling teeth to get those leftover items completed. I’m still waiting on things to be completed and I’ve been in the house for 3 months.

The workmanship of the home could've been better, some of the walls weren't straight, they had a curve in a few of the walls, the sheet rock was stood up instead of laying flat on the ground when the house was being built. So our closing date was delayed almost 2 weeks to fix the problem. And we asked for a tray ceiling in our dinner room but it wasn't built, they claim that they didn't hear us ask for tray ceilings, I was really upset about that, but we created something better instead, it looks good.

Why did Pulte require me a disabled retired veteran to pay 17k dollars down payment to start my contract to build my home. My credit scores were above 800 during the buying process. Also Pulte only offered a 30 day closing option just to wait for the interest rate to rise.

With pulte buying experience is very bad. If you trust sales agents you will loss lot. We need to fight , argue with them to get best. We sign a contract with other party on same day, same time and same model. Other party lot have more land nearly double and also cul-de-sec but finally there paid 12500$ less than us. Pulte decrease there price because there fight well and not trusted pulte mortgage. We didn't get any advantage by trusting pulte. We regret our decision. I want to know new buyers don't trust and they don’t follow equality. Never go for pulte mortgage if you choose ...

Our Pulte sale representative Mary Ann did an outstanding job of guiding us through the bidding process for a lot and then subsequently through the build process for our house. She was very knowledgeable and wonderful to deal with. Our construction manager Alan did a great job in explaining the features of the house during our walk-thrus and was meticulous in finding and denoting flaws that needed to be addressed by various touch-up crews before we closed on the house. He takes great pride in representing Pulte.

We had a fairly seamless experience, and so far, aside from some small items, which is to be expected we have not had any issues. One thing that has been a bit bothersome is how loud it is inside when the outside water is on. I am not sure why that is, but it is pretty loud.

We purchased our home on line not even seeing a model home. The main item on our list was either a ranch style house or an owner suit on a main level . This is why we picked Hartwell model floor plan. Our primary suite not really a suite because of the size of our bathroom in particular...looks cramped not functional; there is not even a room to mount a towel holder. It's not the only reason of our disappointment. We flew from Denver, Colorado for our "Blue tape" walkthrough. Four people spent three and half hours to cover the house with blue tape.
