Our PM and builder contact was fantastic, helpful and really walked and talked us through the whole process.

We love our home. We moved here after working in the military and the federal government. Love the tranquility and our neighbors, plus the proximity to Ft. Jackson and Columbia. Any minor issues we have had were addressed ASAP by the Pulte building manager, Holden and his team. We leveraged the partners of Pulte by installing our alarm and security system and extending our HVAC warranties. Love the pre-wired internet and enjoying Spectrum’s service. Grand Arbor is a great amenity-rich community, we call home.

Pulte and Holden were excellent to work with.

Home is beautiful. Working through financing was difficult. But love the people we dealt with.

My husband and I have had houses built a couple of times in our lives, and usually it was a big headache! Having this house built in carriage estates with Pulte homes was the most pleasant experience we’ve ever had! The building manager communicated and worked with us throughout the whole process. Everything went very smoothly from beginning to end.

Make sure the home has everything you want because it will be difficult to change once you commit. Once the home is built and you move in, having issues addressed can be tedious. The Pulte personnel at the site are pleasant to deal with but seem to be handicapped by company policy.. Dealing with Pulte Mortgage was nerve racking and was not a pleasant experience at all. The interest rate was fantastic, but the personnel in Colorado were exasperating.

My overall home by an experience with Pulte was marginal at best. I was not wowed I was not wowed by the level of customer service I received or the responsiveness to questions I needed answered. The overall craftsmanship and materials used to complete my home build or better than most builders, but not anywhere near what you would find in luxury homes. Honestly, I am not sure how to answer if I found this builder to be trustworthy.

It’s just not a pleasurable experience. There was a constant urge to complete the home and get to the closing table, despite our requests to slow the process and ensure quality. And now our concerns are being realized as there’s much rushed craftsmanship that needs to be corrected before the house is truly completed, though I will say the warranty process has been very corrective. It’s just inconvenient now that we live in the home and should have been done right the first time. The new build process is not one I would recommend as it leaves way too much space for mismanaged expectations from the customer’s perspective. ... More

Very low quality for the amount paid. Would never recommend Pulte to anyone. We love the neighborhood but the product delivered does not match amount charged. Overpriced…. Would you want raw concrete showing in your interior of home—yes or no? Even though it is the HVAC room, it should have LVP or inexpensive tile. The guest bath should have had a transom over the tub shower. Every bathroom Needs a small window for natural light. And no paint in the garage really! We had to have a drywall guy add two more coats of mud and sand then had the garage painted. Driveway was only two inches in places. Concrete not of good quality. Drainage needs attention. Windows were not square—1/4 inches off at top versus the measurement at bottom. Base features should be of higher level quality. ... More
