Good overall experience with the purchase

Built the home as mentioned during the initial meeting. Built with nice materials and followed all the standards. Couple of small findings here and there but those are negligible. Overall had good experiences with pulte and definitely recommend to friends.

Pulte has some really nice floorplans. They build a quality home at a competitive price. I would recommend Pulte builders

Good value and craftsmanship!

Our construction manager Reno was great. He was the only one that kept us updated. He made a list of what we requested to fix and he not only fixed them but confirmed if it was to our liking. He went above and beyond to make our home perfect for us.

We absolutely love our construction supervisor, Carlos. He was so personable and always very understanding. Although, the crews that Pulte decides to hire for drywall, texture, painting and especially Landscaping are crap! Having no construction experience, I feel like I could’ve done a better job! The landscape company that was hired for our neighborhood does the BARE MINIMUM!! They DO NOT roll out the ground before lying down the sod. We did not have any dirt in some areas and even had areas full of mulch under patches of sod. Since the ground wasn’t rolled out, we’re having drainage issues that higher ups and grading companies don’t think are bad enough to do anything about. These areas will cause foundation issues eventually and I refuse to settle for mediocre work and excuses. As far as the drywall and texturing, there are numerous VISIBLE nail holes from securing the dry wall. Instead of fixing it, they just textured and painted it. Overall Experience: The journey from initial purchase to move-in was lengthy but mostly transparent. We stayed on top of every requirement and did our part, which helped keep things moving. Toward the end, however, the process became more difficult and less coordinated, which added stress during a time that should have felt exciting. Quality & Value: The Lexington model offers competitive quality compared to other builders in Davis Ranch. The layout and design are strong, but there were several items left unfinished that should have been addressed before closing. For the price we paid, we expected a more polished final product. Builder Team Experience: Our experience started on a high note with the sales consultant—an exceptional young lady who guided us with transparency and care. She consistently checked in and made us feel supported. Once construction began, our manager was upfront and communicative during the three major checkpoints. However, after the final walkthrough, we were disappointed to find the home had not received its final cleaning. It was handed over in a condition far below the standard we saw in Pulte’s model homes, which was a major letdown. That level of presentation is what convinced us to buy, and we expected the same care in our own home. Advice to Future Buyers: Stay engaged throughout the entire process and hold the builder accountable—just as they hold buyers to every requirement. While we’re grateful for the opportunity to own this home, there were several incomplete steps and overlooked details that shouldn’t happen at this level of investment. Workmanship is very low quality !

Can't get answers on final finishes on my house like no one cares anymore since I already moved in

As a long distance buyer, I was a difficult customer. However my construction manager was the absolute best. He was timely, enthusiastic and eager to help in anyway I asked. My sales rep was a little too millennial for my old fashioned tastes, but fine. I used a wonderful real estate agent, Charlin, who provided above and beyond service as my eyes and ears throughout the building process. The home itself is 85% wonderful. There are several major issues but most have been responded to promptly. Foremost unfixed issue is the disturbing lack of sufficient electricity sockets. Pulte paid a lot of attention to inserting speaker squares, everywhere, but forgot the plugs? They failed to adjust to a new code disallowing plugs on kitchen islands, so now I have a fairly useless, huge, powerless, hunk of pretty rock in the middle of my kitchen. There are not enough plugs anywhere in the house. Second unfixable item, apparently despite my questioning the slope of the property early on, no one realized that the back of my house would rise 10 feet above the ground. Pulte installed a basic, functional, staircase which doesn't fit the quality or attractiveness of the home. Third, Pulte contracted with At&t to install wiring and a router box. These do not hook up with the providers' outside lines, are way too small for equipment and are in a closet which blocks signal to the rest of the house. Finally, beware your property lines. In my section of this community, the homes are very close together side by side. I knew this when I purchased, but now I see this is not standard throughout the area. Further, pulte designed the homes with little attention to the close proximity. For example, they installed both homes' AC compressor units side by side, on the gated side, effectively eradicating room to pass through with any large items, like a lawn mower? My Pulte manager quickly had a second gate installed on the opposite side, resolving this issue for me, but ... The planners also installed a lovely walk in shower with a beautiful window that looks directly into the window of the next door house!?! My manager arranged for an additional blind for that window. Finally, the warranty people are very attentive, but really shouldn't have to come in and re work my entire valued ceiling due to poorly installed drywall mud. That has not been completed yet, but I'm assured it will be soon. All in all I've only listed the things to watch out for here. My review would be much longer if I told you all of the good things! I really do love my new home, with the great layout, stone tile, four efficient bedrooms, four semi bathrooms, and three large pantry areas. ... More

Brandon our project manager was great at communicating and helping us through our closing process. If you have an option to use a different mortgage provided, we do not recommend pulte mortgage.

Overall it was a smooth process ftom approval to closing however the house seem rushed and had a few things missed that required another take after move in.

We knew during this uncertain time of the pandemic that it would take a while to build a new home, and we were right, but the team at the Preserve in SR was second to none! From Karla getting us in the model and location we wanted to Shane ensuring our home is perfect, they have been a great team to work with. There were hiccup’s along the way but we are finally in our home and loving it!! Thanks Pulte!

Don’t get me wrong we love our home… there were some cosmetic issues that I feel should’ve been addressed, and some that still need to be addressed. A lot of my windows are the wrong size which leaves small gaps on the sides.. one window is completely different than the others. We have been working with them on getting our screens all replaced, because they were all too small. I don’t think my yard was leveled before the sod was laid (seems a little lumpy) and whoever did our sprinklers didn’t bury one of the sprinkler heads…. there was paint on the rails of the banister upstairs. Like I said it’s a lot of smaller cosmetic things but things that I feel should have been addressed and spotted by the builder considering the price we paid. Overall the home was to my standards. The only complaint I have is the back yard. It was left a mess and unfortunately sod installation was not included back there which takes down the value of the home. The builder kept in contact the entire time with multiple updates so communication was great. I've had to submit quite a few work orders since moving in so small issues but they've been great at taking care of these problems.

Overall we had a good experience buying through Pulte. The value and quality of the home per square footage was much better than other similar builders, such as Perry and Highland. But sometimes there was sloppiness in the details of the home (painting the garage), but overall I am very pleased. This was my second Pulte home, and I would buy through them again.

Everything was great from sales to customer service however, this has been the worst new build from pain crew I’ve ever seen. From caulking to base boards to doors, the painters did a terrible job. This will be fixed but it’s disheartening to see the poor level of workmanship in such a large part of the home’s esthetics.

Zach and Havey…GREAT!!!! There for me all the way. Still to this day over 3 months of moving in Zach has been there for me.

Overall good experience even though there were some delays in the building process.

Our experience was great!! The transaction run smooth and we love our house, it's very functional and pretty. We've had to contact them for some questions after closing and they are always available and ready to help.

Over all I am satisfied with my house. How there are a couple of areas that need to be addressed Communication between the salesman and project manager. Don't promise work to buyer that can't be performed

Tyler the construction manager is very responsive and accommodating. Also, the issue for clogged toilet has been addressed promptly.
