Great experience everyone was helpful and is responsive to questions above the home

Most problems caused by lack of communications. In most situations if they had responded on time or if they had paid attention to our concerns, many problems would have been prevented. Hasty construction: installing sods in the yard without leveling & treating the soil, leaving garage in an unfinished & incomplete stage, installing interior doors unadjusted with large openings around them, not removing the accidental paint stains during construction, etc. The value you received is not consistent with the high price paid.

In searching for a townhome, it’s my experience that Pulte has a higher level of standard than comparable builders in the area. The interior layouts and the neighborhood layout, all have been thought out a bit more. A driveway was standard, garages were all painted, the home layout was more open and natural, and the portal after moving in for submitting tickets was quality. However, I also generally have found that all builders (even Pulte), build to code—meaning that they don’t go above and beyond the minimum requirements. Examples: insulation values, sound insulation (between town homes and between levels), porch railings (only required if your porch is 30” above the ground), are all code minimum. I certainly can hear my neighbors through my walls even if they’re just walking on the stairs or if their kids are crying (I have no issues with my neighbors being loud, as they’re just living their life; I just wish Pulte put more care into sound insulation). My porch was less than 30” from the ground, so they didn’t install railings which just looks so incomplete. But even with those issues, I’m still glad I went with Pulte. ... More

I moved in in March and since moving in have found so many things that were done improperly that I haven’t even reached out to have them fixed until I find all to limit how many times people are in and out, since I work mostly from home. I understand with today’s new builds quality of materials are not going to compare to an older build, but things are visibly low quality like cabinets and flooring. Additionally, I am in a town home and when my neighbors walk in their unit It sounds as if they are upstairs in my house.

Had a great home buying and home building experience with Pulte in Cattail Run. Our sales consultant Debbie and our construction manager Christian helped and guided us through every step. Their knowledge, support, responsiveness and communication were all first rate! They made what can be a very complicated and stressful time much easier and enjoyable.

Buying my first home with Pulte was a great experience. All my questions were answered and concerns addressed in a timely way. Communication with Brigit and Bryan made sure the process went smoothly. All inspectors were impressed with quality of home. My townhouse is the perfect place for me!

I have gone through a bad experience with Pulte after my loan was approved. Until the loan approval I was helped. Sales team good job. Before the closing, a the final walk through was not conducted. Upon closing, I found the home was not properly identified for the issues that pointed out like cement scraps in the foyer, laminated floors broken joints, scratched fridge, incorrect wiring with rooms, incorrect Ethernet cable marking to the location to which wire should go, lot of doors are not closable due uneven hinges placement specific to master bedroom and other bedroom & toilets, garage door steps wood has holes, sink stopper issues, master bed room toilet paper holder missing or loose fittings, kitchen ceiling drywall breaking, guest bathroom curtain rod had not been placed correctly and fell down, and kitchen area floor cabinet molding ripping off. The house worth 1 million or more and quality is not even matching and finishing awful. Construction over site is not managed and quality inspection is not good. After closing all issues are owners issues and it will be taking longer time to get fixed. To get Pulte builder name corrected a good contractors need to be hired. Contractor builder who supports building have done a very bad and terrible job. No proper quality inspection was conducted for the home buyer isatisfactolion. Issues need to fixed. ... More

I recently purchased my first Pulte home. From the beginning, our sales person was great to work with . Andrew spent so much time with us in making sure that we got wanted and went above and beyond to work on additional requests. Our site manager Bryan is incredible. He was very responsive and made sure that every issue we had was taken care of, even finding issues that we had missed. We have truly enjoyed working with both Andrew and Bryan. The Pulte mortgage process felt a little disjointed. We were given a horrible rate in terms at first, and after seeking out multiple other mortgage packages with much better rates, they did agree to match our best rate. I don’t understand why I wasn’t offered that in the first place. It would’ve saved a lot of time and effort in reaching out to multiple mortgage brokers. At our closing, we didn’t receive any copies of our settlement documents and none of the settlement documents were sent to the HOA here so we had to spend time making sure that our HOA received the documents so that we could enter into the portal. We are very happy here we love the development and had a very good experience on the sales and project management side, which is truly invaluable to us. ... More

We recently purchased a new condo, built by Pulte, in the Potomac, Maryland area. The experience could not have been better. The sales associate, Devon, was professional, friendly, and very understanding of our needs. She guided us through the processes, even calmed some anxiety on our part. The construction supervisor, Sean, was also terrific. He kept us informed on construction progress and met with us at important stages as our condo was being completed. He was always available to take calls or e-mails and was extreme helpful as we moved in, making sure that our unit was ready for us. Sales and construction people were very helpful. Completion was just in time to avaid complications in moving. Unit is well designed and upscale. We are pleased with our purchase.

Terrific location and floor plan. Hallways are beautifully done, well lit and very clean. However, major drawback is that there was no real plan in place for visitor parking. Truly nowhere close by! Garage is convenient but only one designated handicap space in a building that attracted many seniors.

Buying the home was great. Easy, fair and pleasant. After moving in I’ve had several issues: My front door wasn’t weatherproofed in the dead of winter The finish on my bathroom cabinet handles is peeling off less than a month after move in A lot of caulking is peeling in various places My guest bedroom door hinge doesn’t align with my lock I didn’t have trash cans for a month My “hot” water was Luke warm at best Constant construction which I expected however, my driveway is always blocked by trucks and there’s trash in my yard constantly The quality of these homes is that of construction being mass produced and rushed I would’ve rather paid more for higher quality finishes and better quality construction ... I would give less than 1 or zero if that were on the list! It is all cheap materials—looks like a trainee built the house rather than a professional. I can list hundreds of them. I had to get my flooring done with tiles and when the carpet is lifted, i t was rough surface and holes everywhere like they hammered it—-staris too same thing! Very poor job overall!
