Not happy with the quality of the plants Pulte planted in our yard.One section no plants,Some of the plants died within the first month in our home!

I brought up a concern that my inspector had to the PM and he said it was not a concern. Well it turned into a leak and mold issue. Had he been present during the actual inspection I think my inspector and him would have resolved this issue. Or in the very least when I met with him a few days later not been so dismissive of everything the inspector mentioned to me. The crazy thing is when the HVAC guys showed to fix the leak, they said they informed Pulte of the same issue that my inspector mentioned, a few months back when they were on sight before I closed on the home. The team that I dealt with once the mold was present from Pulte were different people and I felt taken care of. However, having a kid with severe allergies I can't help but think that my home still has mold in it when it ALLLLL could have been prevented. ... More

During the construction of our home, we heard a lot about Pulte quality. Within the first two months of living in our home, we have had to repair the oven and the air conditioning. I am not sure that the quality is quite up to the discussion it is given.

Beware you can get decision fatigue from all the choices you have to make when you design a home from scratch. At one point we said yes to a shower head upgrade that Pulte charged $1,700 for and we later found on Amazon for $149. When we pointed that out, they were unwilling to make an adjustment. Otherwise, the buying experience was very pleasant. Unfortunately, our move in has been postponed indefinitely because of the corona pandemic, so we can't speak to how livable the house is just yet.

Did not receive a prompt response to service request. For example, when I requested adjustment to water pressure and temperature, I was initially told to call a plumber myself. Eventually, service was provided but had to make multiple contacts. Issue could have been handled more efficiently.

Overall Great Experience. Love the home! Sales Consultants were the best that I've ever worked with (this is the 5th home I've purchased in the past 45 years). Everyone has been great to work with including the construction supervisor, the warranty supervisor, etc. The only negative experience was dealing with Pultes Mortgage Company. I won't go into that...let's just say that it was NOT a good experience.

I was quite pleased with my home. The overall building process was smooth and transparent. Like most new homeowners I do worry about how quickly additional homes will be added to the community and if I overpaid with the current trends of the market. I do recommend taking the walk through with your project manager seriously and noting ALL problems prior to close. Unfortunately, they chose a horrible and unresponsive AC contractor. They have missed appointments, ignored calls and at times been downright rude. They also installed the AC improperly. Our new home is beautifully designed and many many things are just perfect! But there are also many little problems that are annoying and difficult to get resolved. Nothing is urgent anymore (the one urgent problem was fixed but only after a 10 day wait). The project manager is overwhelmed so there's no way that he could possibly address the issues. We hope that Pulte will respond within the first year of ownership so we can have the perfect home we dreamed of.

I will base my response base on the star categories. In terms of the quality of workmanship and materials, it could of been better. I understand that in the housing market, builders want to finish homes asap. However, quality should always be more important than quantity when trying to please your customers. With the inflation of homes, i felt that the price for my home was very acceptable. The trustworthy of Pulte was not bad, however, I get it, when the seller is buying the house, all resources are available to that potential customer. But once that customer actually buys the house, you are forgotten and replaced by another potential customer. Lastly, although there were many issues with my house, the responsiveness of the Pulte Homes was quick to acknowledge my concerns and were able to resolve those issues. It’s been over a month that we moved and it’s nice, we’re enjoying the home. There’s no big issues. Couple of small issues fixed by the service team.

Pulte Condos in Crown Gaithersburg review – Pros: The location of these condos in Crown, Gaithersburg Maryland is fantastic - they are within a stone throw distance from Crown city center that includes 7+ good restaurants/bars, a Starbucks store, a great wine shop, a Harris Teeter, a Sports club and other stores. With easy access to 270, MD 200-ICC and close proximity to Shady Grove Metro Station the location speaks for itself. The external look of the building is very modern and attractive. The building is located across from the pool and community center and therefore has easy access to these amenities. Inside the unit, the upgraded kitchen appliances and washer/dryer are excellent. The floor plan I choose – Brooklyn has nice size open kitchen and living room area. I will definitely give building a 4.5+ star rating out of 5 stars especially because both, the Sales and Delivery/Operation staff is very professional and attentive. Having said that, there are a few elements that could have been designed better to get a 5 star from me. Cons: - The sound proofing in the building, both internally and externally is nearly nonexistent, the ceiling is lower than 9 feet, there is only one elevator in the building of 32 residents that not only is inconvenient but it is also a single point of failure especially for elderly living on the 3rd and 4th floors, the parking is very limited with a very flimsy and noisy garage door protecting the entrance, the adjacent same size windows do not have symmetrical dimensions and therefore creates a challenge for designing high-end window treatment. For the unit size of 1500+ sq. ft. The balcony size is a joke. Obviously, some of these are design while others are construction quality control related issues. Bottom-line - While the corporate planners/architects plan these Condos to maximize the square footage and utilization for obvious reasons however, they do neither have experience nor inclination to make the design for functional living. There are way too many of these smaller features I can list here that can be easily incorporated into the design that makes a good design great but this review already too verbose. ... More

Beware that the stairwell to the second floor is not designed well. it’s impossible to get a normal size couch to the second floor. in addition there are FOUR doors in the master bedroom that are a bit cumbersome to navigate. otherwise i’m entirely happy and really enjoying settling into my new home.

As with any construction there will be some issues. Pulte is very responsive.

I recently purchased a home, and while the overall structure and layout are great, I’m somewhat disappointed with the finishing touches. The contractors that do the caulking are terrible at their work. It has taken them multiple times to caulk our main shower, without leaving holes in the caulking.

All things considered - just have been a month in The house. So far without any big issue. Most of issues are cosmetic due to sloppy/job in a hurry work. Pulte employees are polite, mean well, but unfortunately at times unhelpful. Overpromise and underdeliver. Quality of materials seem good. Problem is sloppy work due to how fast they build and little attention to detail. Or quick fixes that don’t solve the problem. Overall good materials, good houses, little attention to detail.

There were several small items that needed to be fixed and it took over 1 month of being in my new home before these issues were addressed. They need more than one Customer service manager for a location as large as Potomac Shores.

The team at Pulte was proficient and good to work with - very timely in response to inquiries and issues. The quality of some finishes makes me question their subcontracting - rushed and not good value for price paid. If I buy another home, I would go with the basics and hire out my own contractors for higher quality finishes and materials.

Good buying experience, but not responding to workmanship warranty requests.

The process of buying was relatively easy. I was worried that they would cut corners and for the most part, it has been good. My only issue is when there were things that were concerning or needed to be touched up, the ticket would take days to get a response and a week or more to get resolved.

The building team is responsive and trustworthy.

Everything is comfortable and good conditions.

Problems with the appliances installed and slowness of kitchen aid to send technicians. Questions regarding the humidity and the HVAC. These matters relate to Pulte’s choice of brands and not testing each thoroughly before settlement.
