Did not receive a prompt response to service request. For example, when I requested adjustment to water pressure and temperature, I was initially told to call a plumber myself. Eventually, service was provided but had to make multiple contacts. Issue could have been handled more efficiently.

Overall Great Experience. Love the home! Sales Consultants were the best that I've ever worked with (this is the 5th home I've purchased in the past 45 years). Everyone has been great to work with including the construction supervisor, the warranty supervisor, etc. The only negative experience was dealing with Pultes Mortgage Company. I won't go into that...let's just say that it was NOT a good experience.

I was quite pleased with my home. The overall building process was smooth and transparent. Like most new homeowners I do worry about how quickly additional homes will be added to the community and if I overpaid with the current trends of the market. I do recommend taking the walk through with your project manager seriously and noting ALL problems prior to close. Unfortunately, they chose a horrible and unresponsive AC contractor. Close to but not perfect

Our new home is beautifully designed and many many things are just perfect! But there are also many little problems that are annoying and difficult to get resolved. Nothing is urgent anymore (the one urgent problem was fixed but only after a 10 day wait). The project manager is overwhelmed so there's no way that he could possibly address the issues. We hope that Pulte will respond within the first year of ownership so we can have the perfect home we dreamed of.

I can preface this with "should have gotten everything in writing", but in the moment easier said than done. Our experience started off great with a sales person telling us everything we wanted to hear, immediately after signing to start construction the experience began to degrade. Communication in the beginning was horrendous. All of the meetings we were told would be scheduled(in regards to construction) never were, unless we called endlessly to schedule them. Home design is exactly what we wanted, location is great, and the house was completed on time. Sales office and related offices for mortgage and insurance were very responsive. Builder was accommodating for non-standard features we requested. However, quality of workmanship and materials used were less than anticipated. Examples are plumbing lines/shutoff valves, and not using 16-inch centered studs on non-weight bearing walls. Appliances are builder grade, and we needed to have the microwave repaired in the first week.

This home has been a disaster.

I recently purchased a new condominium from Pulte Homes (Lofts at Reston Station) and it has been a nightmare. I hear every footstep from the upstairs neighbor, as well as other noise. Pulte staff promised that you would not hear noise from neighbors, but they refuse to complete a sound inspection or take measures to mitigate the noise.

I will base my response base on the star categories. In terms of the quality of workmanship and materials, it could of been better. I understand that in the housing market, builders want to finish homes asap. However, quality should always be more important than quantity when trying to please your customers. With the inflation of homes, i felt that the price for my home was very acceptable. The trustworthy of Pulte was not bad, however, I get it, when the seller is buying the house, all resources are available to that potential customer. Overall a good community, with the exception of a several issues, that have been brought to the Pulte Homes team. The quality of material and workmanship is not the best, but can be considered average. Their team is very nice to work with. Home layout is great with storage in abundance. The garage space is very tight and the kitchen cabinets are not very user friendly.

The thing that really bothered me was at the walkthru; the Pulte guys gave me an assurance that "If I needed anything to just reach out to them". Well I did. And no response. Guess they did not care anymore since the unit was sold. It was all song and dance.
