All things considered - just have been a month in The house. So far without any big issue. Most of issues are cosmetic due to sloppy/job in a hurry work. Pulte employees are polite, mean well, but unfortunately at times unhelpful. Overpromise and underdeliver. Quality of materials seem good. Problem is sloppy work due to how fast they build and little attention to detail. Or quick fixes that don’t solve the problem. Overall good materials, good houses, little attention to detail.

We shopped around before we decided to purchase a Pulte home. Compare with other builders Pulte offers better quality and design. We’re now moved into our new home for more than a month now. Pulte’s warranty service is responsive as well. Overall our experience with Pulte was great.

When I first decided to build a new house, I had no idea the nightmare I was about to endure. I was filled with excitement and anticipation. Little did I know, their negligence and shoddy workmanship would lead to months of frustration, disappointment and wasted time and money. The quality of the home was not what I expected with every room in the house having some short of damages, such as cracked doors, misaligned garage with incomplete concrete flooring, and much more. Very responsive and supportive throughout the entire process - signing contracts to selecting design options at the design center, and everything else!

As a family moving to Virginia from out of state, Pulte and their quick move-in home buying process could not have been easier. The responsiveness of everyone on Pulte’s team was fantastic, and compared to our previous home buying experiences with other builders, my husband and I felt like our business was truly valued. Our project manager, Eddie, and his assistant, Noah, were very responsive to any superficial issue we found during our pre closing walkthrough and even spent five hours going through the house with us to make sure everything was perfect. Since our closing, Zach, in Customer Care, has been great at assisting with any follow up we needed. My wife an I did the entire process of purchasing a home with Pulte while we were living overseas. We never even say the house until a week before we closed. We can definitely agree that Pulte made this process easy and affordable. They worked with us every step of the way and we know we mailed the right decision by choosing a Pulte Home!

Brian, our construction manager, did a great job and was very helpful. We are also having an excellent experience working with Adi.

I like my new home, however I would expect a lot more of the home to be cleaner when getting and building a new home.

It was the first time experience purchasing a brand new home built from the ground up! It was the fascination process of seeing how the house was constructed through many stages from the ground to wood frames and to a complete house with all features and options inside and outside at the end! It was also the great process and experience with Pulte staffs, i.e ., sale representatives, design center, loan advisors and on-site foremen/engineers, who were very knowledgeable, helpful and professional from the beginning, during and towards the end of the whole purchase process! The follow up on items that need to be fixed or corrected has not been satisfactory at all. Overall finishes has not been to Pulte standards. Have concerns about the grading of the property matching plot plan.

This is our second Pulte home, we were very pleased back then with Pulte and the experience repeated itself with our current home

The team was fantastic and went above and beyond to help me with my needs and concerns

We have had so many issues that would require us reaching out to service department for requests. Each issue is addressed by different person and it takes forever to come out to work on it might even take multiple visits. We paid for the upgraded padding for the carpet but they didn’t install it in the house. Overall I would say I expected better quality, planning, and service.

There were several small items that needed to be fixed and it took over 1 month of being in my new home before these issues were addressed. They need more than one Customer service manager for a location as large as Potomac Shores.

I love my new house. Everything is the way I expected. Thank you so much to build my home. I can trust pulte homes.

Great process. Got timely updates and times with the home. They did a fantastic job on it too!

Had an issue with main staircase with visual nail marks on treads and open gaps between stairs and stringer. All 16 steps out of 16 steps have gaps and nail marks. Reported to site manager before closing and he told us to handle it with warranty. Stairs contractor and Pulte warranty manager came out and look at it. Both agreed that it’s poor workmanship but still Pulte’s response is it’s within spec. Still working with warranty but this shouldn’t cause this much trouble. Still not sure if Pulte is going to fix the stouts. And so many little issues but once you closed the house, Pulte don’t response and resolve the issues promptly. Asked site manager to 3 door stoppers multiple times but no response. ... More

This is our first time buying a new construction build and we literally stumbled across this new construction site on a random Sunday afternoon. We met the builders sales agent, Jennifer, who gave took the time to explain to a couple of newbies what the new construction process. We needed an expedited timeline and with Jennifer's constant help, support, empathy and kindness we were able to move into a brand new, gorgeous Pulte townhome in just about 3 months from the day we met her on that Sunday afternoon. Everyone's experience with a new build is different and we had a few hiccups along the way, but I am taking the time to write this review to say that having a talented Sales Rep in your corner made all the difference for us. ... Take too much time to respond and too many repairs after closing

Pulte helped us buy a condo down the hall from our daughter. We love it!

The team at Pulte was proficient and good to work with - very timely in response to inquiries and issues. The quality of some finishes makes me question their subcontracting - rushed and not good value for price paid. If I buy another home, I would go with the basics and hire out my own contractors for higher quality finishes and materials.

Build manager and finishing manager we’re good. Subs needed to be better managed and blatant issues could have been fixed without me stating them. Door frame, island, cabinets, and deck were clearly not up to par and the ground out back wasn’t graded correctly to disburse water. I understand you need to make money cause this isn’t non profit and I would just ask to do the right thing and not see if I as the homeowner would catch it so it would need to be fixed. I had to escalate things cause boots on the ground were not empowered or motivated. Mortgage process was a challenge due to lack of knowledge by the processor. I would build with Pulte again but my recommendation is when you see something not up to par just get it fixed and not see if the consumer catches the problem. Didn’t exactly exude confidence with. Salesman mislead us on options and used supply chain issues to give us down graded appliances. Had a number of issues with the finish carpentry. Exterior had mud all over sides and back of house. Was told it would be cleaned by close and on day of closed was a mess. Said it would be cleaned by end of day. Not done, touch up on trim not done, sod was burned out completely in a number of areas. Said it would be replaced. Not done. Pulte Mortgage never presented A competitive offer. Waited until interest rates went up a second time then after considerable pressure submitted an offer that wasn’t even close. Went with own financing and Pulte coordinator waited until day before closing to get information to my closing company. The $10k incentive is a joke. Designed to pay Pulte’s seller fees and difference in exorbitant doc and prep fees. This was my 16th home my 3rd Pulte home. I do not expect anyone to respond to this.
