My wife and I worked with Shannon and purchasing our first home was full of great communication and an excellent price.

He was evasive, loud mouthed, disrespectful to me on multiple occasions. I do not want him on my property. I note Paul has a visual deficit, he 'cannot see ' the simple and obvious items that need repair and attention. Sales by Jill was fabulous. Very kind , knowledgeable and professional, attentive to all my new home questions. Paul is a down size to Richmond homes. He is not welcome on my property after his aggressive behavior. This experience has been an absolute nightmare. Two days after move in, our downstairs bathroom flooding raw sewage. A month and a half later we’re STILL waiting for fixes! The super rarely answers the phone, and if he does, he has no idea the deadlines of material. The installers show up unannounced WITHOUT supplies because they thought Richmond was supplying everything. It’s a cluster mess and miscommunication around every corner.

The process up until our walkthrough was more difficult and disorganized than it needed to be. With that said, Dave, the superintendent for Sky Village, has been amazing, and he is the sole reason that I have given the 5 stars above. He gave me all of the important info upfront before I asked, he is very responsive and answers all of my questions, and fixed any issues I've had right away. He is always in a good mood, easy to get ahold of, and great to talk to, and I am very grateful that he was in charge of the way that my family's home has turned out. Don’t buy a Richmond home!!!!!

Richmond had too many houses they closed on in the same week so mine got half done. Paint, drywall, doors, trim, stucco, list goes on forever needs final touchups that were never done before closing. Really expect a better quality for a brand new house at this price. Supervisors have been less than helpful getting things fixed and now I have had to take off countless days from work and essentially not been able to move in fully for two months now wait on repairs including full paint in all rooms and no one at Richmond cares about the inconveniences it has caused me because they got their money. ... The sales stuff does not communicate timely and make preparing for walk through and closing very difficult and not a pleasant experience.

I expected a better quality build, materials and especially workmanship very disappointing.

Richmond American’s onsite sales team, dedicated lender, patient final stretch coordinator and site superintendent went above and beyond, every step of the way - from inception, build-out through closing. After closing, sales agent and lender were available and answered the few concerns, with the same immediacy as during the sales process. Richmond corporate QC has been outstanding, ensuring that any remaining punch concerns are being addressed, resolved. Solid product, beautiful home; expect excellence - Richmond American Delivers!!!!!

Overall we love our new home, the design , space and flooring are the best. We did not like the fact the loan company did 3 separate credit inquires within 6 months. This greatly decreased my credit score. I did not also like the fact that we had to call several times for your company to fix a broken tile and fill up a hole next the water and gas meters.

I’m glad I went with Richmond and would do it again if necessary. I worked with the builder and sales person throughout the process of the home. Excellent service.

They helped me so much and making sure we got our home. They are very friendly and professional.

Workmanship and the details get lost in these new homes. 30 day check in never happened. Still need things fixed and addressed.

Overall my experience at first hit a snatch with Brandee. But overall I gave them a second chance and Anthony was superb in getting me back on track. Great home but overall it needed Anthony’s oversight which allowed him to deliver a home for my family. Appreciate overall everything and their continuing professionalism.

For the amount of money you spend on a home from Richmond, one would expect better quality workmanship and a completely finished house. Instead you get pushed to buying a home as is , and they want you to make and burn of your personal time in order for them to complete the work they should've had done to begin with. But dont worry you'll still get issues surprising you every mo th so you'll have them using/wasting your time for years to come. So exciting.. The process was amazing! We are enjoying our beautiful new home. It almost perfect. There are a few issues that still need to be addressed and it takes a long time to get a response back and to actually get them fixed. The trades could do a better job at paying attention to details so that we could avoid having to fix things.

Sales agent Jason Was super friendly and accessible. The superintendent of construction Rynn was great attentive and easy to talk to made everything very easy to understand and followed up through and through.

I am happy with home. I looked at other builders but came to Richmond. Very happy with my purchase and the customer service from sales to supervisor

I wouldn’t recommend buying a house with Richmond American. This has been the worst experience ever to buy a house. There was absolutely no verbal communication from finance at all. Every time I called no one answered the phone. They would barely communicate through email. I feel that they did not walk us through the process and nothing was explained. When I threatened to pull out of deal the communication was worse. Nothing was thoroughly explained from the beginning to the end. I had to come out of more money at day of closing because it wasn’t explained to me. The title company explained more to me than anyone in Richmond American. Allot of walk thru items are still not corrected and the quality of the build is very cheap compared to what was paid for the house. I would not recommend anyone buying from Richmond American. ... If you want a home with an RV garage, Richmond American is the only builder that has a garage large enough to accommodate a 30+ foot rig. Love it!
