Henry was easy to work with. Jenna was very informative and quick to respond to questions.

After closing we found a few workmanship quality concerns one was a safety concern but the warranty stated it met minimum standards and they would not repair the issues. Overall the house is great, there's a few things that could be better.

Overall, we had a great experience throughout the homebuying process. The team was responsive, professional, and easy to work with, and they addressed any questions or concerns we had along the way. One thing that would have made the experience even better would be receiving a complete list of the materials and finishes used in our home, such as the cabinet color, interior and exterior paint colors, tile, flooring, driveway pavers, and other finishes. Having that information would be very helpful if we ever decide to repaint, make repairs, or extend any part of the home in the future, since we could easily order the same materials and maintain a consistent look. ... I appreciate Larissa’s help during the sales and closing process. ***** has been so professional and responsive in addressing punch list and warranty fulfillment. He has met and exceeded my expectations.

We have had several is*****s and now we are without AC in a brand new house at 110 degrees outside. ***** manager is pointless, should have ***** during the build and you wouldn't have so many ***** is*****s after the sale. ***** has been someone I would rather not deal with. He is late in responses, condescending and his lack of personal s*****s are to be something I do not care for. My QC manager has people s*****s and his job is to make sure that my customers are taken care of swiftly. ***** gets to it when he gets to it. I have been very disappointed in this purchase. I have had 5 new builds and this is the first time I have delt with a ***** manager. Either you buy the cheapest products or you have no supervision and ***** during the build. Either way we are not excited about this and we even had family buy in our same neighborhood. I will make sure that if my concerns are not rectified soon. I will start letting everyone know. I also know my neighbors are having the same is*****s with *****, garage opener app, ***** camera and improper lighting install just name name a few. ***** love to discuss with someone other than yiu field staff. ***** is the only person from your feild thay actually cares about the people but apparently he has been told to let ***** handle it. Our experience after closing was extremely disappointing. We did not receive the builder-provided appliances until 11 days after our closing date, and the final appliance did not arrive until 27 days after closing. As a result, we had to spend additional money eating out because we couldn’t properly use our kitchen, and we also had to pay to do our laundry away from our new home. What makes this even more frustrating is that the company makes it very clear that buyers are responsible for paying $318 for every day a closing is delayed. However, when the delay is caused by the company and it prevents homeowners from fully using their new home, they refuse to reimburse the reasonable out-of-pocket expenses their delay created. We expected much better customer service and accountability. If the company expects customers to bear the financial consequences of delays, it should also accept responsibility when its own delays cause customers to incur additional expenses. There were a few hiccups in my home buying process but I need to give credit to ***** at Home American Mortgage for taking so much time and true effort to improve my experience. He was truly so helpful and really pulled through for me as a c*****nt. I felt like ***** actually looked at me as a person and not a loan on a piece of paper. His communication and follow through is 10/10. I also really appreciated ***** from ***** for helping me out and picking up slack where others fell short with. My realtor and I did not feel as if the main agent helping sell the home had good communication or follow through and left a lot of open ends during the transaction, it felt like it was just another sale and ***** even get responses from him multiple times. I am also in sales management and felt as if he didn’t even earn his commission for the sale of the home. ... More

Had an amazing experience from start to finish. You can really tell that Richmond cares about families and the people who buy their homes. The team is so friendly, positive and encouraging. I believe this is a quality built home. We are happy with it and excited that it is ours.

Jen and Carolina were awesome with helping my husband and I through our buying experience. Although I was in another state for majority of the process, with great communication, they both ensured everything required was taken care of in a timely manner for a smooth transition and quick close on our new home! Super easy experience, speedy and friendly.

The sales team was quick to make promises and tell us what we wanted to hear during the buying process, but the experience changed dramatically after closing. Getting follow-up on warranty and repair items has been extremely frustrating. Communication is poor, responses are delayed or nonexistent, and it often takes multiple attempts just to get an update. Scheduling repairs has been equally disappointing. Trades have shown up at our home without any prior notification, while other scheduled appointments resulted in no-shows with no communication. On several occasions, we rearranged our schedules only to have contractors fail to appear. For such a significant investment, I expected much better customer service, communication, and accountability. Goôd i’m like it and everything

We were very particular about the options in our new home. We also wanted the incentives of a spec home. I told my wife we won't find the layout and options at the right price. Incredibly we found it at Richmond American Homes. We checked off all the boxes for our must-haves...from a spa shower to a gourmet kitchen. Our sales rep Nick was tremendously helpful as was our walk-through rep Logan who meticulously blue taped our home, got it taken care of, then made sure we got our appliances registered. We're settling in just over one month now. Just as promised we were contacted by Kyle for a follow up 30-day walk-through. We're still browsing the Richmond American website which also proved to be extremely helpful. Believe me, we've searched up and down the west valley for the past 3 years and finally found our dream home! ... More

Great experience and happy with my purchase

We love our home, however, we continue to have issues around warranty, quality of work, the responsiveness of our warranty providers, escalations going on resolved, insinuations that we’ve created damages or issues, that have overall left us incredibly dissatisfied with this experience. While we’re so happy to have a brand new home for our family, it’s been overshadowed by the difficulties and challenges associated with dealing with your warranty teams. We continue to have issues get runarounds are denied different elements even when we provide documentation and proof of issues and errors. While I won’t go into the specific year, they’ve all been documented in writing with our different representatives over the last 30 days since moving into our home. It’s incredibly disheartening when you spend close to $1 million on a home, are sold that warranty will be able to provide support for the things that you need for the errors that happened by way of the build, and you continue to have issues, it leaves you incredibly disappointed. Our desire is to have these things taken care of and repaired, the responsiveness to our issues to meet the minimum standards outlined in the warranty, and to have somebody support the fact that new homes have issues and that new homeowners want to see fixes done expeditiously. I’d love to be able to give this experience five stars, unfortunately that’s not the position we’re in at this point. ... More

We are enjoying our Richmond American home. The sales process was easy. The salesman was very helpful and informative. The walk through went well. And the company fixed things that showed up on the home inspection and walk through. I have no complaints.

After closing and Richmond American got their money on an almost 1m home purchase. follow through and follow up has been terrible after final walk through. Last straw two showers are unusable for 1.5 months after closing. Vendors scheduled for repair with NO notification to me the home owner!

Darlene was a pleasure to work with! She is very knowledgeable in her field.
