Not my first home purchase but it definitely won’t be my last with Richmond! The team is incredible, fast, patient, and thorough.

Just go for the best.

The house was purchased under the assumption that it is new and will be covered under warranty if something is not right. That was a big mistake. The house was not ready on the date of closing with plenty of outstanding defects identified during pre-closing walk-through. The builder was not willing to fix them all before closing and forced us into closing or lose the deposit. The construction crew were working on the house even on the revised closing date. Then the repairs just stopped after closing and we have to chase down the superintendent constantly to work on the promised repairs. A lot of defects were still not fixed and now we deal with warranty team and it tried to exclude many defects that have been identified. Loved the overall experience with Richmond they really care the most for the "home buying" process. Very much enjoyed seeing the home being build from ground up. Very clean and professional when doing our weekly walk through. Every little detail upon final walk through was addressed! Not one thing was skipped. We were very please and couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Our experience with Richmond home was outstanding. Customer service was on point took care of all our needs they took us through the whole process step-by-step, and are still in communication with us after our purchase helping us with whatever we need. Overall, our family is happy with everything.

We had a positive experience on the sales and builder side. Lauren and Mike were professional and responsive. The biggest challenge was working with the loan officer. Lauren went above and beyond answering all of our questions and collaborating well with our realtor. Mike, the superintendent, was awesome. I can tell he takes pride in his work and he is personable. After closing he attended to the little things that needed attention. We feel like we got a great deal on this house and love the fact that the basement is finished.

This was my third experience with new construction. I can honestly say this was my best experience. The Sales team was super friendly throughout the process. The construction manager was outstanding!

The buying experience was great working with Richmond. I do wish for the price you are paying that Richmond could at least finish the fences in-between homes instead of leaving that on the homeowners to work out with new neighbors who have not moved in yet.

Many people warned me that the home-buying process would be stressful, but my experience with Richmond's lender was horrible! Unfortunately, you have to go through them to get the best rates...brace yourself. Now that I'm in the house, I'm okay. I still really like the house, but I am finding negligent things here and there. For instance, there were bumps underneath the carpet. They ended up finding entire bundles of nails leftover by the carpet people! Thankfully, they are pretty responsive and quick about getting things fixed.

They had a home that fit me wonderfully and were knowledgeable about the building and buying process. They helped me every step of the way. And, when I found little problems here or there weeks/months after purchase, the superintendent, Mick, was still willing to come over to fix them. They've been great!

Very Poor experience. They have yet to fix the issues with the home. They give an excuse for everything and push back on fixing items that need to be repaired or replaced. Very poor workmanship. Sliding door is broken, basement floor and carpet are poorly installed, plumbing, foundational issues etc. Buyer Beware!

I felt everyone from our sales associate, construction sup, loan processor, warranty rep, and anyone else along the way made our first home buying experience wonderful and I would highly recommend Richmond to anyone! Any questions or concerns were always answered promptly and everyone was very professional and easy to work with!

I live my new house, layout and design. Wish they could have added installation throughout the whole house. Carpet could have been better. Overall I am happy with the house.

My experience throughout the home buying experience was excellent! Nikki, Tim, and Madison were all very professional, thourough and really made this moving experience, which is naturally stressful, nearly seamless!

Overall the buying experience was very good. The let down came after I closed on the home. There were workmanship issues that were found and discussed when I did my initial walk through. At final walk through some were taken care of but others weren't and still haven't been addressed a month later. Communication has been nil. While I understand that this is only one home out of the hundreds they are building it's still important. The sales team was good, and responsive. If I had it to do over I’d never buy a house from them. Do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can in the other direction.
