Repairs have not yet been completed. It’s already been 1 month. Sales staff is great. Travis is a great helpful person . No very happy with the outside staff

Try to accomplish to take care of pending issues before closing. You don’t loose anything for asking for upgrade. Take extra family with you to inspect and hire a private inspection firm. Check bathrooms and plumbing upstairs and in crawl space. All the air vent installation of attached properly.check laundry area. We are missing insulation in bump out window spaces, found big 7 holes in the beam for blown insulation hose and they forgot and left it open. Warranty rep scheduled many contractors and she is nowhere to be found. Found cracks in garage concrete floor right after the closings(we were rushed out pre closing walkthrough)now they are giving us cold shoulder. Because it’s not covered after the closing. But our sales rep and project managers were above and beyond to help us purchase this home. ... More

Our sales person was Lauren and she was AWESOME! Communicated every step and was so attentive to us. Mike our project manager was thorough and knowledgeable

Was not given second garage remote, garage was not pressure washed, house was dirty. Someone was supposed to reach out to get this scheduled and I have not heard from anyone.

I had a wonderful experience buying my Richmond home in Castle Rock, CO. Pete did a great job helping me with the home sale and keeping me up to date. Amanda assisted me with the design center selections, and she was such a pleasure to work with. Everything turned out perfectly. My superintendent, Chris, has been exceptional to work with. He has gone above and beyond every step of the way, providing me with peace of mind and a beautiful home.

Great home for the price

The sales person told us several things that we would have in our current spec home. Only to find out that none of these things were included and we weren't able to change anything. She quit 3 days after we signed and her replacement pleaded ignorance. I will state the obvious: buyer beware.

A lot of issue I wish I can explain it

Overall price and layout of the place wasn't bad. Only major issue is drywall, paint and uneven walls seems to be pretty bad. Even stuff that I had marked on the walkthrough before purchasing the home they had attempted to fix but still did a poor job.

I walked the home with our sales associate Beverly and our realtor and immediately fell in love with the layout. The home was at the top of our price point, but had everything we were hoping to find in a home. Beverly and our build team updated us each week on the progress (we were living out of state) with pictures and information about what was being done at that time. During our orientation, everything was explained in thorough detail to us, and great advice was given to help us take care of our brand new home. The fixtures and included appliances aren’t great quality, but they get the job done for the time being. Brenda did an amazing job with our purchasing experience. She made our experience extremely helpful. The conversation with the lending teams were very difficult as we were trying to line out the mortgage. One or 230 minute zoom calls would have made the experience much easier. Raf throughout the blue tape walks and our entire purchasing experience. The construction team was updating or fixing items ongoing, which was super helpful. It helped us feel heard.

Richmond did a great job on this house. Our salesman and construction super were great to work with. We still paid too much for the house but needed a place to live:(

Our experience with Mike our sales person and the warranty dept at 30 days has been spectacular. We closed with no opening issues and at our 30 day we had 3 very minor issues that were closed out in 7 days. Amazing!

My fiancee and I found a Hemmingway model that was already built and immediately fell in love with the floor plan although we didn't fall in love with the already built house in a different development. Then we got lucky to find the floor plan of our dream home for a brand new one! Beverly made the buying experience positive and great! She answered all of our questions along the way as well as after the purchase and she was still there for anything we needed and even responded on her days off before and after the sale. Our construction managers Nicole and Emily answered all of our technical questions along the way and like Beverly, they took care of us before and after the sale. Rae and Ryan in the warranty department took care of any issues we've been having with the home so far and have done an excellent job! The sales rep, Holly, was very friendly, always available, if she didn't have the answer she would call me back quickly with whatever I needed to know. The building supervisor, Dustin, was great. Called me every Friday with updates, answered all my questions and is a super friendly and nice guy who knows the business.

The buying process was fairly easy and straight forward. Sales people are on top of any questions and will work with you to make you happy. The quality of workmanship is probably my biggest pain point. I've experienced far worse, but for a new property, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. Once you're moved in to the house you see the quality is on the lower end. Trim is just badly done. Rough wood cuts & edges everywhere. Drywall texture is randomly splattered in the weirdest places, Lot's of paint splatter on the floors. The flooring is really cheap. The placement of electrical outlets and switches are un-intuitive, and there's no lighting in bedrooms. The foundation has settled and shifted enough in the last couple months that many of the doors don't close correctly. And the sub-flooring is creaking everywhere. I only expect it to get worse and it will have to be dealt with after replacing the cheap flooring in a couple years. The neighborhood is really nice. Great location with easy access to the Mountains and Downtown. Views are great too! ... More

Richmond overall is a great company and builder. Jim and Angie were wonderful to work with with the process. I am impressed Richmond honored our earnest money thru our unfortunate uncontrollable process. Our first home build was amazing. The one we finally purchased was a disaster from workmanship perspective. A 4 hour walk thru with all the issues, we weren’t able to go over the important things most people do during a walk thru. We paid for an inspection and when we brought that up, the general don’t remember his name, answered oh that’s just how it is? Why waste money for an inspection if the unknown name guy is going to dismiss those issues? ... More
