The entire process was great. There were things that needed to be corrected, however, Richmond Homes made all that were needed/requested. Jessi and Denny were amazing to work with and on the lending side Erin and her Team were fantastic. We have lived in our new home for a month now and love it! Thank you Richmond Homes for building a quality home at an affordable price! We are so grateful and feel so blessed!

We had a beautiful experience with our realtor and the folks at Richmond… I love the fact that they're also different filters for the neighborhood. This creates a much less cookie cutter Neighbourhood look different designs of homes. Kirk

Oliver is wonderful and truly one of the best parts of purchasing with Richmond. He is there for every little thing you need. Incredible communication. The cons: there were a few miscommunications with their mortgage company relating to their incentive. Also the workmanship could def. be better. They will fix everything you ask so it seems they rely heavily on waiting until you ask for it. Overall, the community will be lovely and we are happy with our purchase so far.

Jessi is absolutely the best! She has gone above and beyond. Our experience with the sales process has been top notch. We haven't moved in yet, so answering the questions about the materials, value, and responsiveness are difficult to answer at this time. I really don't have enough information, so I chose the middle rating. I wish I could have sent the review without having to give a rating for each item. I suspect they will be all be 5 stars once we get settled in.

I have a great experience and love my new home!

Once we closed, the sales person was non responsive. We have questions and have sent emails, with no response. The drawers are very shallow and don't hold any of size

Oliver is great to work with. He really helped me get into the place I wanted and helped insure all my conditions were met.

Everything from start to finish was a great experience! Everyone from Richmond homes was extremely helpful and answered all our questions, I would highly recommend doing business with them in the future.

Superintendent was rude and not polite

Sales experience was the best part of the process. Sales person responded promptly and often with updates. Overall quality of the home was fine with one major issue and several smaller issues. The major issue was finally resolved after a battle with the builder and the rest of the warranty work is subpar which the neighbors said it would be as they fought the same battles. A month and a half later two of the three are still unresolved and on one I still have not even been contacted. Not sure I would go through this again

Our agent for Richmond was not the best. The home has been great thus far. The mortgage company Richmond uses is horrible. The first and final walk through was lazy

We just purchased an Idaho Richmond American spec home. Although it was a spec home, we entered into a purchase contract just as the build began. The Richmond sales team was very friendly and reachable in those early days. We signed their contract and completed their down payment early. After that though, everything changed. Now the salesperson and project manager seemed to avoid us. Their prior promises really didn't seem to matter anymore. For example, one promise they made was that the build could be prioritized and the completion date advanced if we needed it. We needed it. Now though, the local Richmond team did the opposite. They seemed to de-prioritize our build. Often nobody worked on the house for days on end. The sales team became nearly unreachable. Once I was told 'if I have two dates to schedule anything, I always pick the later date!' No wonder progress slowed to a crawl. We came to feel the local team's goal was to encourage us to walk away, forfeiting our substantial down payment, and allow them to sell the house again to their next customer. On the day the property closed and we finally took possession (three weeks late), there were a few issues they promised to fix. Nearly a month later and with NO attempt from Richmond to address these concerns, the story repeats itself. They seem to be all about transactions and completely uninterested in relationships. Although the house itself seems fine, if you are considering a build with Richmond American, I would proceed with caution. Had to follow-up more than once on project issues that needed to be resolved. A few promises were made and not kept. And a couple appointments for scheduled repairs were no call, no shows.

We love our new home and are very happy with our purchase. The only snag we have run into is getting our work orders in and taken care of. We are not concerned that they won’t be address, we only feel they could be handled in a more timely manner.

As first time home buyers we had heard stories about how difficult buying a home can be. That was not the case with Richmond. They explained the process so well and made each step simple. Grant was always there to answer questions and did an amazing job from start to finish. Erin made getting all the documents we needed to share easy and helped us know what was coming next so we were prepared. If we ever had questions she was quick to respond and easy to work with. We would recommend buying a home through Richmond to anyone!

We purchased this move in ready home as part of a 1031 exchange. From the sales person, superintendent, and warranty contact they all did an exceptional job in communicating and exceeding expectations. They did a great job in inspecting and correcting any workmanship that had to be touched up.

I had a great experience from the moment I contacted Richmond American Homes, to the tour of homes, and the buying process. Sharolynn was exceptional and we were extremely impressed by her! We used their mortgage lender which was frustrating at times with the back and forth of information that had to be sent multiple times, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Love the craftsmanship of the home. When we did the walk through they were very thorough which I appreciated. Thank you!

We love our home now that it is done. However, every builder has issues. Make sure you ask detailed questions, and don't expect everything in the model home to be included in the one you pick. One example is the closets, the model had nice shelving in all the closets. When we asked about it being included they said it would be "exactly like the model". they later stated that those closets are not an option and we had to pay to have them as a "custom change" Great floor plans, overall good quality, and a lot of value for the money you pay.

The house is decent, even though there are some finishing touches that need to be resolved. There seems to be no policing of the contractors that are still building homes right across from us. We expected noise, that’s part of building new houses, however the constant music and the trash everywhere is ridiculous. The contractors also park wherever they want, including in front of our driveway. We have to abide by the HOA rules, but the contractors can do whatever they want, and it’s very frustrating to live next to!

Candie was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Aaron and Denny have been very responsive when it came to questions about work orders/help.

For me the finish work before moving in was not good. The attention to detail was poor as we had to have cabinets re worked patch work and painting still in progress and cleaning before move in was very poor. Still waiting for work on the fence and gate and paint repair on facia board. I know we have a year to get all these things corrected but who ever is responsible for making sure everything is in order should slow down and take more pride in the finished product as this represents Richmond Homes.
