We had a great home buying experience with RichmondAmerican Homes! Would totally recommend to anyone looking to buy a new home!

We love our home, however, we continue to have issues around warranty, quality of work, the responsiveness of our warranty providers, escalations going on resolved, insinuations that we’ve created damages or issues, that have overall left us incredibly dissatisfied with this experience. While we’re so happy to have a brand new home for our family, it’s been overshadowed by the difficulties and challenges associated with dealing with your warranty teams. We continue to have issues get runarounds are denied different elements even when we provide documentation and proof of issues and errors. While I won’t go into the specific year, they’ve all been documented in writing with our different representatives over the last 30 days since moving into our home. It’s incredibly disheartening when you spend close to $1 million on a home, are sold that warranty will be able to provide support for the things that you need for the errors that happened by way of the build, and you continue to have issues, it leaves you incredibly disappointed. Our desire is to have these things taken care of and repaired, the responsiveness to our issues to meet the minimum standards outlined in the warranty, and to have somebody support the fact that new homes have issues and that new homeowners want to see fixes done expeditiously. After closing and Richmond American got their money on an almost 1m home purchase. follow through and follow up has been terrible after final walk through. Last straw two showers are unusable for 1.5 months after closing. Vendors scheduled for repair with NO notification to me the home owner!

We purchased our home without seeing it in person but Beth guided us, Beth updated regularly took videos and pics while it was being built and we surely didn’t make a mistake I love my house (: Love my kitchen, big counter and functionality is excellent. My kitchen is a party place, open concept with lots of room to move around. I would recommend Richmond anytime!!

We started our home search 2 months ago, looking at new and existing homes. No home was quite what we were looking for…a little more space than our current two bedroom condo, a backyard of our own, space to enjoy with family and friends…our realtor suggested we look at Archer Park at Mountains Edge. We found exactly what we were looking for! A Home set up just the way we wanted, nice appliances and quality construction… Although the price was more than we had planned… Special financing available through Richmond American allowed us to stay within budget, and the builder split closing costs with us. Amazing, Smooth, and seamless! The home is amazing the price and interest rate I hit seemed very fair and competitive! There whole team from realtors to loan agents where hasty to respond and help out anyway they could! Very happy with my new home and the experience I had getting here!!

Getting repairs done has been an issue. Craftsmanship has been poor the longer we live in the house the more we find.

The sales experience was truly excellent. Michael was incredibly patient, thorough, and thoughtful as we navigated our home-buying decisions. We toured several homes and multiple communities, and throughout the entire process he remained attentive, responsive, and highly professional. Michael took the time to understand what we were looking for and ensured that we felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. Richmond American is fortunate to have him on their team—he truly sets the standard for what a great sales experience should look like. Unfortunately, our experience after the close of escrow has been very different. The level of responsiveness and care we received during the sales process has not carried over to the customer care team. This has been disappointing, and I will be addressing these concerns directly with management. My wife and I recently closed on our Richmond American home in Mountain Falls in Pahrump, and overall it was a meaningful milestone for our family. Building and buying a new home is a complex process with a lot of moving parts, and while there were moments where things required patience and persistence, there were also some individuals who truly made the experience better. The highlight of our experience was working with Josh, the Richmond American Superintendent. From our first walkthrough, Josh demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and pride in the homes he delivers. During the orientation, he spent significant time walking through every system in the home, explaining how things worked, answering questions, and making sure we understood maintenance and warranty items. What impressed us most was how proactive he was. Before we even arrived, he had already walked the home and taped areas that needed paint touch-ups or minor corrections. When we pointed out anything during the walkthrough, he addressed it immediately and made sure it was documented so his team could take care of it. Josh clearly takes ownership of the homes he builds, and that level of care gave us a lot of confidence as buyers. So much so that, without him, we likely would have walked away. Another person who made a big difference in the process was Jenna with HomeAmerican Mortgage. Financing can often be one of the most stressful parts of buying a home, but Jenna was responsive, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the process. Our loan had a few complexities that required additional documentation and coordination, and Jenna stayed engaged every step of the way to make sure everything moved forward smoothly. She took the time to explain the numbers, answer questions, and make sure we understood our options before making decisions. Her professionalism and communication were greatly appreciated. Overall, the home itself is beautiful, and we are excited to start this next chapter in Pahrump. Mountain Falls is a great community, and we are looking forward to enjoying the golf course, the growing amenities in the area, and the extra space the property provides. The process of buying a new construction home can require patience, especially when coordinating between builder timelines, lenders, and closing logistics. That said, when you have people like Josh on the construction side and Jenna on the financing side who genuinely care about their work and the people they serve, it makes a real difference. Richmond American Homes has some of the most functional, efficient designs, and desirable upgrade options of the builders we visited. My purchase experience with RAH was quick, to-the-point (and no sale games). Everyone was very professional to work with. RHA team was very thorough in the after-sale follow-ups to make sure we have all questions answered, and our new home is as complete as can be.

I will recommend to my relatives and friends to buy their dream home with Richmond America!

Spending time for first walk-through and make sure all issues taking care of without any exceptions. Otherwise you will be spending lot of time after escrow closed

When I toured this home, it immediately met ALL the items on my must-have list! It seemed providential! My mom had purchased a Richmond American townhome years ago and I remember the high quality, so I went into this experience expecting the same. I was not disappointed. The sales rep, John, was the icing on the cake! He made the entire process so smooth and pleasant! I love my new home!

The only 2 shining stars in this process have been our sales rep Frank and the construction foreman assistant Raul. Frank really went above and beyond for us, was always very responsive and genuinely kind. Raul had sympathy for our issues and was very responsive and pleasant. The quality of the workmanship is completely unacceptable especially considering the price we paid for this home. It's glaringly obvious that the construction was rushed and corners were definitely cut. This transfers the frustration and responsibility directly to the owner to constantly have to put in warranty claims on things that should have been done correctly the first time. There have been so many issues from the street sign not even being spelled correctly, then the street name being spelled a third incorrect name with the USPS. Our closing was delayed by over 2 weeks because they didn't have the HOA docs ready. The community has been in construction since July, this should have been completed well before homes are done being built. We put in warranty claims and hear nothing from our warranty rep until we call him to follow up. The floors were still littered with paint spots throughout so we had to hire someone to clean them. Construction debris and spills left near entryway. The list goes on. We do appreciate the thoughtfulness in the sometimes forgotten features like outlets near the roof for holiday lights, pre-wire for EV charging, standard paver stone driveway, lights in every room, etc. ... We had an amazing purchase experience until it came to financing with RA. The contractors interest was attractive but the amount of red tape we had to cross to get to YES was not worth the wait so we sought financing elsewhere Dana appeared to not go that extra mile to assist us but at the end of it all we got the home we wanted!

We bought a move-in ready house and closed within the month. The process for us was extremely quick and smooth. Our sales rep Sammy was patient and got us a great deal and our superintendent. Josh was on top of getting the little details knocked out for us. We love our house and can’t wait to spend many years there.

Richmond is the best! Everyone was very hard working, helpful, diligent, and kind. No question went unanswered and if there was a problem it got fixed. Couldn’t recommend this builder more! We have been in the house for 1 month and absolutely love it. Thank you Richmond America :)

My husband and I spent months looking at different homes, and we randomly came across the Arborbrook community. Our sales agent Ryan gave us the tours. We fell in love with the models instantly. He then proceeded to show us some spec homes that were move-in ready. Who knew we would fall in love with one! We put a deposit down the next day. The escrow process of course is always stressful, but they made it easy and were super patient and understanding. Fast forward, WE ARE IN OUR BEAUTIFUL NEW RICHMOND HOME!!!!
