I understand timing is everything. I was tired of living in a tiny apartment after I retired from the military. Why is it so hard to find an affordable house. Oh well, like the title implies, a good home at a tough time. There are areas of the house you can tell were rushed, the bath tub was scratched when it was installed, the frame doesn't line up near the entrance door, the ceiling was sagging in the master bedroom. You guys sold a $300 thousand dollar house for half a million dollars, at least you could have taken your time. Could have at least astro-turfed the backyard so it keeps the HOA off our backs. Stuffs expensive right now and needing to put in blinds, fans and a backyard takes a tole on any bank account. First off, the house itself is very nice. The floor plan is awesome, the materials aren’t bad. It’s a very welcoming home. However, 1 month later. The screen door has popped off, the locks wouldn’t lock from the beginning, no body has came and fixed it. Our garage door opens our neighbors and our front door handle is coming lose. The home buying was incredibly frustrating. The loan process took way too long. Our loan officer Deacon kept us updated as much and as well as he could. From getting told “we’d close tomorrow” to it being delayed 4 weeks because of reasons I have never heard of. So happy to finally have the house that we'll enjoy for many years

Beautiful homes and neighborhood as the title suggests. We bought our first home in NV and coming from the east coast. Little issues here and there but took the home care team 3-6 weeks to resolve the issues. Shower rod for 1 of our bathrooms was forgotten and didn’t get to use it for almost 1 month until I called Corporate Center. Otherwise we’ve been happy with our purchase.

Location is nice to new comer. All the things you want in a brand new house, the designer already put in it. The size of house fits into the lot size perfectly. Buy a brand new house is lots better than the old ones. Don't worry every thing is covered under the warranty. Interior colors are well chosen. After closing service is looked after very very good by the Richmond American homes workers as Jon, Angel and Raul. They are proud of their job so as me happy to deal with them. Eager to see your guys in August.

For almost half a mil not worth the price and experience

THis was our first home purchase and it went by so easily and quickly! Love our home

Window is cracked already and I have to wait a month for a replacement. Paint is poorly done with drip marks all over. All the screws in the house are lose. The stucco is coming off already. The floor makes noise and it’s not even level. This house was built too quickly and with poor attention to detail.

From day one when our Agent suggested this builder, we fell in love. The Darius met all our home needs. Working with Brian made new home purchase simple. Brian, Angel & Raul is an awesome team. Made us feel right at home each time.

The house is very nice, beautiful design, interior, and exterior. However, I wish they clean inside more throughly. There are area were not throughly clean, scratches, stains from working on the house, and scratch on the appliances. When the buyer wants to buy, we expect the brand new place spotless.

The home is over priced for the cheap materials used in building the structure. The workmanship is dismal. Multiple feature in the house need to be fixed from replacing windows, sliding glass door, driveway pavers, cabinet drawers and doors and quart’s shower wall. All of these items need to be fixed and have yet to be fixed. The Richmond American home specialist was notified of the issues and still has not reached out to set a time for repairs. We have been living in our home for three months now with no word. I would not buy a home from Richmond American again. I will never recommend them to anyone I care about. ... More

The quality and workmanship was terrible when I closed so to get it fixed, we had to contact customer service, Jennifer, for every issue that needed fixing especially the one’s that weren’t fixed by the final walkthrough. Every time I call customer service, up until now, she does not respond for weeks and only responds when she’s forced to. She’ll say I’m not talking to her properly. Well guess what? When you don’t respond to customers who wants to get their house fixed because the builder didn’t do a good job to begin with…Customers will eventually get mad because you all don’t care about getting the job done. Up until now, my issue from a month ago hasn’t been taken care of. I ALWAYS initiate the conversation because she WONT!!! She avoids it and hopes it’ll go away. She even suggested that I get down on my hands and knees and scrub the messed up baseboards that they messed up. I don’t think so!!! That’s what a one year warranty is for!! If she can’t do her job then she needs to go to her boss and ask for help. And she needs more customer service training because she doesn’t know how to communicate. Overall process was smooth and efficient!! Identified the home, submitted the application and moved in around a month later. The team from Richmond was very helpful throughout, ensuring that we understood each document and step during the buying and closing process. The builder’s team was very helpful after our purchase, quickly correcting any issues we found and they were few. We are very satisfied with our purchase and home buying experience with Richmond Homes.

From beginning to end, everyone was so friendly and helpful and made the process so smooth and not stressful. But my favorite part is just the overall quality of the home itself. Great job Richmond!

The overall buying experience was great. Some minor issues with communication but that was fixed. The one thing bothering me now is I have submitted a work order of the things not fixed from the final walk through and now 30+ days. I still have not heard from anyone to come and fix these issues. My dishwasher currently does not work and has not worked since day 1.

I work in the remodel/rehab and new residential and commercial construction industries. The home I purchased fails to meet basic, minimum industry standards. Poor finish work. Five weeks since close and still not moved in because repairs not complete. Unskilled labor executing tasks requiring high-level, specific skills (skip trowel texture). New windows won’t open and told that’s how they are. False. Threshold improperly installed and told that’s how it is. False. Four property walks later and only the drywall and texture issues addressed, but these repairs were inadequate to the point the walls need completely refloated and retextured. Lack of follow through by builders warranty/repair team. There’s much, much more. Cabinets damaged, toilet seat damaged, air gap cover wrong color, screen dented and hanging off window, toilet paper holder ripped off wall, handrail severely lacking prep work, two different color caulking used on tile floor, tiles in shower cracked, doors warped, door handles loose enough to fall off, cutouts in drywall some of the worst I’ve ever seen, repair team dripped paint all over tile, paint job is absolutely horrible and that’s an understatement, multiple roof tiles were severely damaged, window frames and sliding door frame scratched, exterior paint lacking coverage in multiple areas, pavers for patios and driveway not level…and more. ... The building process was very good. The follow up after has not been as good. We did not receive any training on how to operate our appliances. Now that we are here, we are unable to register with the home warrantee company, and are having an issue with at least one appliance.

We were extremely pleased with the entire process of buying a home here at Richmond - Esperando. This was our first time buying a new build home, and Richmond made sure to take care of all of our needs, questions, concerns... anything we needed was done in a timely manner and they made sure the end result was exactly what we paid for and wanted. Everyone from the sales agent to our designer to our field super to management to our loan officer ... we we're always greeted with a friendly smile and great professionalism.
