It was awful...if time could go back I would never purchase this house. I moved a month ago and one thing after another doesn't work. I have been promised multiple times that this will be corrected or that.....never happened. I have uneven ceilings, broken cabinet, uneven flooring, chipped wood in stair rail and hundreds of other things.

Our sellers agent was great! She said what she did and did what she said

Buying a house is supposed to be exciting blah blah....Well buying a Richmond Homes was the absolute worse experience I've had. If we wouldn't of been left homeless I would have walked away from this purchase. As I get settled in and what not ive noticed a lot of issues. In the RV garage, the wall outlets are not at the same height level. The sheetrock edges arent on 2x4s. The RV garage has a whole 3 outlets in the 43 foot garage. They left the plastic on the over head lights, when the garage opener was installed they took the power cord and went around the frame to plug it in, this caused the light cover to not close. The back deck was a total waste, it was 3x5 or so. No stairs to the back yard from the deck which was over 24 inches high. When I brought this up the fix they went with was to add a complete railing around the deck. By doing this we had no access to the yard till I removed it. My husband and I spent months looking at different homes, and we randomly came across the Arborbrook community. Our sales agent Ryan gave us the tours. We fell in love with the models instantly. He then proceeded to show us some spec homes that were move-in ready. Who knew we would fall in love with one! We put a deposit down the next day. The escrow process of course is always stressful, but they made it easy and were super patient and understanding. Fast forward, WE ARE IN OUR BEAUTIFUL NEW RICHMOND HOME!!!! Thank you so much for making our dream come true.

Handle warranty issues lightning fast.

We recently moved in to our new home. It's only been a little over a month, but we're generally pleased with the house and would only suggest a few changes. The buying and move-in processes were great and the supervisors have been awesome at addressing any minor fixes we've needed. Overall, the quality of materials and workmanship are pretty good. There's only a few things we've noticed that could be improved. The balusters along the stairs don't all sit flush on the bottom. The top floor (carpeted) already has several squeaky spots. There are no outlets on the kitchen island. Overall, though, we are pleased with our purchase and look forward to living in our home for a long time. ... More

Issues in full bathroom area

We really enjoyed working with Lia on the home purchase. She was responsive and very helpful. 3 weeks after moving in we discovered a leak from the roof that caused significant water damage and mold on one side of the house. After a week of inspection they began tearing up my brand new house, installing blowers and fans. This is still in process and expect it will last about another month before it will be put back together. Needless to say, we are not happy. When I asked about compensation for our significant inconvenience, Richmond responded with “We don’t do that”.

This is the 3rd time I've purchased a new-build home, and this is by far the best experience that I've had. The entire process, from sales to design selection to build to closing to post-close warranty issues, the employees have all been phenomenal. They've constantly strived to do the right thing by us, their customers, and give us the best experience and home possible. Melissa, our sales rep, did great. Natasha, our designer, and HUGE SHOUTOUT to Danny, our foreman, who went above and beyond to make sure we understood everything about our new home, was incredibly helpful with issues, and gave great advice for us. Workmanship has been a major problem. Still dealing with warranty issues. Unable to get anyone out to come fix it. Items in house that no one can give an answer as to what they are or why they are there. Can’t get in touch with anyone to schedule repairs. Electrical and hvac both with big issues. Cannot get answer as to who installed certain systems so I can get more info from company since richmond American had no clue who did it.

Honestly, the process of getting a loan was alot of work. Since we don't have a Realtor representing us. But everything else was smooth sailing. The representative and everyone involved was excellent with quick response to my questions or need. I will definitely recommend richmond home to my friends and family

Everyone we worked with through the sales and ownership phases have been pleasant. The home inspected well.

We were misinformed by the sales agent with an accent on a number of things such as side yard size, HOA fees, if the neighboring houses were already sold, who our neighbors would be, possibility of switching to another lot, how soon the neighborhood will be built out and others. She is a talented lier.

I found my home by accident. It was not on my list of properties to view. Once I entered the model I was greeted by Jerry. He showed me the smaller model and the Larimar. Even though I used an outside lender the home buying process went smoothly from beginning to end. Even now the warranty team is attentive and accommodating. If you’re looking to purchase, go Richmond American.

The sales rep was very open and honest. She let us know all the incentives. The loan officer was super helpful in addressing our financial needs. The loan processor was responsive and knowledgeable. The home service specialist was responsive and thorough. The overall homebuying experience with Richmond American Homes was excellent. It took only 17 days from the time I toured the house until closing escrow!

Need to set up a day to pick up garbage, recycling etc…Other than that it’s a promising young community where we hope for the best

I was shocked to see that I was able to get into a brand new build since I was buying by myself. Hattie was amazing giving me the tour, talking about how everything worked & how the process would go. She helped me loosely crunch some numbers to show me what my mortgage would be. I never felt pressured to buy or fill out paperwork on the spot, which I really liked! We messaged a few times before I went back in to officially start the process. Everyone has been very helpful from Hattie to everyone I had contact with at Richmond American to the builder, Jason, giving me the guided tour. Various discrepancies with the home, He was attentive and is going to get them all fixed.

The sales and build team were amazing here in Jurupa Valley! Lawrence was attentive and consistent with communications from the very first meeting and walkthrough. Gus did a great job with my walkthroughs and explained everything with my new house. Gustavo has been a lifesaver from the day I got my keys to now, answering questions about the home and advice about maintenance. Gustavo even brought over a plant to place in our front yard. I'm so glad to be calling this my new home.

Brenda was incredible. She went out of her way to make sure that any opportunities or challenges were settled quickly--even when she was on vacation. She is a stellar representative. Joey was also quite helpful to make sure the house was ready. Unfortunately, there were a few things that were not ready. The warranty service is terrific, but the 4 hour window for repairs is not conducive for working people. The overall quality of the home is quite good. The dishwasher however is quite cheap. The "stainless steel" door is plastic. Love the gas range!

From start to finish, Richmond American Homes has proven to be an exceptional National builder. The quality and workmanship are well above average and include so many features that make them move-in ready! There are beautiful floor plans to choose from and we quickly fell in love with one that gave us everything we needed. Our sales manager, Realtor, and site super were all easy to communicate with and helped to make the whole process even better. We can’t say enough good about this experience!
