Goôd i’m like it and everything

We were very particular about the options in our new home. We also wanted the incentives of a spec home. I told my wife we won't find the layout and options at the right price. Incredibly we found it at Richmond American Homes. We checked off all the boxes for our must-haves...from a spa shower to a gourmet kitchen. Our sales rep Nick was tremendously helpful as was our walk-through rep Logan who meticulously blue taped our home, got it taken care of, then made sure we got our appliances registered. We're settling in just over one month now. Just as promised we were contacted by Kyle for a follow up 30-day walk-through. We're still browsing the Richmond American website which also proved to be extremely helpful. Great experience and happy with my purchase

We love our home, however, we continue to have issues around warranty, quality of work, the responsiveness of our warranty providers, escalations going on resolved, insinuations that we’ve created damages or issues, that have overall left us incredibly dissatisfied with this experience. While we’re so happy to have a brand new home for our family, it’s been overshadowed by the difficulties and challenges associated with dealing with your warranty teams. We continue to have issues get runarounds are denied different elements even when we provide documentation and proof of issues and errors. While I won’t go into the specific year, they’ve all been documented in writing with our different representatives over the last 30 days since moving into our home. It’s incredibly disheartening when you spend close to $1 million on a home, are sold that warranty will be able to provide support for the things that you need for the errors that happened by way of the build, and you continue to have issues, it leaves you incredibly disappointed. Our desire is to have these things taken care of and repaired, the responsiveness to our issues to meet the minimum standards outlined in the warranty, and to have somebody support the fact that new homes have issues and that new homeowners want to see fixes done expeditiously. We are enjoying our Richmond American home. The sales process was easy. The salesman was very helpful and informative. The walk through went well. And the company fixed things that showed up on the home inspection and walk through. I have no complaints.

After closing and Richmond American got their money on an almost 1m home purchase. follow through and follow up has been terrible after final walk through. Last straw two showers are unusable for 1.5 months after closing. Vendors scheduled for repair with NO notification to me the home owner!

Guys, there was so many little things that added up. It started with all the dead bugs embedded into the insulation in the basement. You guys fixed it but should have caught it before the buyer did. There were issues with caulking around the house. The Richmond agent did a lot to get stuff looked at before and after we moved in. The window wells in the basement were filthy and had dried cement in the window tracks. Some of the windows in the rest of the house were covered in dust. I know the house was vacant for 5 months before we purchased it but you have to keep track of how the houses are doing while they are vacant. There are 5 homes for sell within 250 yards of our house. Please check them before people look at them. But, there are a lot of good things in the home and we are still happy we purchased it. ... More

We had a very good experience with all the staffing. Everyone has been very helpful. Elizabeth, Maceo, and Kris made our home buying experience so much easier. Thank you to all the staffing at Richmond American Homes. The quality of the house is 10 out of 10.

Overall, the home is beautiful; however, the attention to detail during the finishing process was disappointing. Several interior issues were identified during the initial walkthrough, including paint splatters on the floors, door jambs, shower trim/outlining, and stair rails. These concerns were pointed out early on but were not addressed before the final walkthrough. We were assured these items would be completed on the day of closing, but unfortunately they still were not resolved. Additionally, the grout finishing in the primary shower was poorly completed and lacked quality workmanship. On the exterior, there was separation in the paneling that was also supposed to be corrected prior to closing and was not. The cracks on the concrete porch were especially disappointing because instead of being properly repaired, they appeared to simply be painted over in an attempt to conceal them, which actually made the issue more noticeable. The home itself is beautiful and we are grateful to own a Richmond American Home ; however, builders need to pay closer attention to details and quality control so buyers are nit left cleaning paint off places it should not be and putting spackle in cracking window seals in a brand new home. Amanda, Stephan and Madison were extremely helpful throughout our entire process. They were very responsive and answered any of our questions/concerns quickly.

Our experience purchasing our new Holt Home was fantastic. The sales team help write an offer that helped us financially and was accepted by the Contractor. A superintendent was assigned to us to facilitate initial walk thru, punch list, and final walthrough. He assured that every detail was to meet our expectation. We were advised to have a home inspection. We were amazed to only find a few minor things needing attention. Those issues few fixed in short order without debating or extending the closing timelines. The house is built with great quality and attention to detail. Holt Homes has refined home designs that meets the lifestyles of modern living. We purchased our home without seeing it in person but Beth guided us, Beth updated regularly took videos and pics while it was being built and we surely didn’t make a mistake I love my house (: Love my kitchen, big counter and functionality is excellent. My kitchen is a party place, open concept with lots of room to move around. I would recommend Richmond anytime!!

My home buying experience with Richmond American Homes has been more than great! In my opinion, Richmond American Homes is a quality builder. Richmond American Homes and Team, from the builder, to the sales representatives, superintendents, customer service representatives, and tradesmen are honest, trustworthy, and true professionals. I highly recommend a Richmond American Home to anyone looking to purchase a home.

Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable during and after our our purchase at The Seasons at Round Hill Meadows.

Overall the sale person, Jasmine, was a delight and honestly was one of reasons why I ended up purchasing the home. Patrick, the builder, was also great and listened and fixed the issues with the home when I went through the initial walk through. Corey, also great and helped tremendously to get all of the appliances registered under the warranties. Issues: Communication with my mailbox key. My mail box key was not given to me at closing and I was told that the post office had the key. Stood in line at my local post office only for them to tell me they do not have the key, Richmond has the key. Took nearly a week to get contact with Richmond (since no one was at the sales office (this was a different sales office from where Jasmine was stationed at), and I had to contact the Denver office to get a solution) to have someone at the sales office contact me. Sure enough, my mailbox key was at the sales office and the sales person made the remark that they had the key all along and I should have just swung by... Didn't contact me to let me know but instead made me do the unnecessary legwork of trying to find the key for two weeks. The metro district that is in this area is not good and will 100% take your money without helping you get your trash properly set up. This took countless phone calls over 3 weeks to get my trash can and to find out what day my trash day is... Richmond can answer no questions about the metro district and feels like its a scam in the end. ... More

Trustworthiness and the quality of workmanship/ materials and prompt responsiveness to issues.

We are new to the area and researched several builders. We chose Richmond American Homes to build our house based on the ratings other homeowners provided and after doing some walk throughs of their model homes. The building process was excellent as well as the inspection process. We were given a warranty contact at the time we took possession. At 30 days the warranty contact called and asked if we had any issues or concerns which we didn't at that time. A week later we had a minor issue and requested them to look at it. They had someone out the same week to look at it and rectify the issue. I am very pleased with the quality, craftsmanship and responsiveness of the Richmond staff from building to warranty care. Overall home buying process was not bad at all. However, the quality of house has been very disappointing so far. I have had some sagging floor. And fortunately I could still use the warranty service which Richmond home provides us. However, I am doubting the quality of the framers who work under Richmond home. They lifted up the floor, and this issue has not been solved for a few weeks now. So overall, it is quite disappointing.
