Overall, we enjoy our new home and development. It has become obvious that cost cuts and trades that don't take pride in their work was evident. The walls on both sides of our property needed to be higher. Everyone could see into each other's backyard,

We had a great experience with Richmond Homes and absolutely love our new house! The process was pretty smooth, and the quality of the home has really impressed us. Our only frustration was that there was no flexibility in selecting finishes, and we would have loved the option to add a backyard to the original scope. Overall, we’re really happy with our new home.

From start to finish the process was seamless, the home absolutely perfect. Everyone who has been involved in the process has been super helpful, available for questions and encouragement. Also any issues that have needed to be addressed with the home were addressed immediately even after the purchase. Thank you American Richmond Homes!!

With any large transaction you are going to have some issues along the way. But one thing that I felt confident about along the way, was that those issues would get solved. Travis was always a phone call away and willing to help or point me in the right direction anytime I needed anything. The loan team (Jenn Fuggi) did a good job breaking things down for us so we could understand our options. This was our first home, so it was a bit overwhelming ant first, but Travis and Jen helped calm us down and Keep us on pace. Overall I felt satisfied with the experience.

We spent nearly 8 months looking at houses to make into our retirement home. We talked with 5 major developers/builders/sales teams and looked at over 45 houses with our realtor. Our first experience with Richmond American homes was with Shirley. Her teammate, Patricia, was showing a home to another buyer at the time. Shirley took us around to multiple houses in Jackson Creek and took the time to discuss options/differences and opportunities with Richmond American Homes. We then returned for a meeting with Patricia and she went over the specifics of timing, deadlines, and was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and engaging. We then continued looking at other houses, but continued to come back because of Patricia and Shirley. Patricia and Shirley have been heaven-sent. They are an amazing team, they are always willing to go out of their way to explain or assist. Shirley has even taken it upon herself to fix things on the spot after getting supplies out of her personal vehicle when we would flag her down as she drives by. Shirley has been very engaged with multiple contractors to fix specific problems and has coordinated with Brandon on multiple warranty repairs as well. Although we found many places that we liked, the engagements with Shirley and Patricia always brought us back to Richmond American, ultimately purchasing our new home. Finally, Patricia and Shirley continue to call and check up on us. They genuinely care and want to ensure we are happy with our new home. They make us feel like family and not just a transaction. The process was smooth and easy we loved the house and the details everything was very well made and clean and neat. The sales person and construction manager were both kind and helpful in everything. We totally recommend for future homebuyers

We have been very pleased with our new home, the Paige model. I have had a lot of experience with Richmond before with friends who have bought homes with them and they’ve all had great experiences, but this is the first time I’ve purchased a home with Richmond. They live up to the reputation and they are very responsive and helpful when it comes to new home issues. Warranties are taken care of right away, and the site supervisor has been awesome. Also, our sales rep was amazing as well. The overall experience has been fantastic!

While the floor plan was good the quality was very poor. Who puts in a double vanity with no drawers? Cabinets are the worst with no handles to open them and only half shelves in lower cabinets. Local construction contact promises whatever and does not deliver.

I really love our new home it’s amazing beginning to feel like it was meant to be. Our neighbors are very nice and helpful. Which we have never had before. Aside from there not being enough drawers in the house. It was a pretty good experience.

We were taken care of by our sales rep Nina. She answered all of our questions quickly. Danny did a great job of building our home with quality, and in a timely manner.

The process goes so fast and I didn't expect it will be done in a matter of few weeks. Henry the builder agent is very reliable and helpful. He accommodate us from the beginning of our journey until the end. It was a very good experience. We're happy that we chose Richmond American Home as our builder. We will definitely recommend them to others who is looking for new homes.

Rushed through orientation and walk through. Agreed to do things and didn't. Learning much of the information he shared was inaccurate, so trust factor on remaining is at a low. Had an issue with the Garage door and when repairman came indicated hinges just needed oiled, but Contract Supervisor didn't know this? Basically he ruined an otherwise great experience with poor customer service.

We had a smooth process in buying this house. We have only had 1 issue with our kitchen sink which was fixed in a very timely manner. Everyone has been very helpful and nice.

I’m had the greatest experience buying a new home from Richmond America Homes in Roseville,Ca. Sales associates Lori and Katrina were great to work with. Loan Officer Chris was very helpful throughout the process. Whole team at Richmond America Homes made buying home enjoyable and delightful.

Would highly recommend that home buyers have a pre-dry wall and final inspection and do not assume because it's new construction that everything is fine. My inspection revealed workmanship that would void the manufacturer's warranty.

The home buying experience was pretty decent, however I didn't like how I was expected to read all my paperwork and understand all the terminology used, without anyone going over it with me. Being a first time home buyer it would have been nice if someone took the time to go over things with me. I couldn't share my documents with my realtor either. Responsiveness to issues is very poor, it took 3 weeks to address my garage door opener issue, and nearly 2 months to obtain a working set of keys to my home.

Jason was awesome. He worked with us & our agent throughout the process. He found answers if he didn’t have an immediate answer. We love the floor plan. The follow up after the walk through has been very positive. They have been responsive to our questions. Unfortunately the financing and title experience was deplorable. I would never use their lender or title on my own. That was the only way to get a favorable interest rate. We were very pleased with the insurance quotes and their responsiveness.

Buying a home is supposed to be an exciting milestone, a dream come true. Unfortunately, my experience with Richmond Homes turned out to be the biggest regret of my life. From start to finish, the process was riddled with frustration, disappointment, and regret. The pressure during negotiations was unbearable. Richmond played games with concessions and demanded an exorbitant amount of earnest money, clearly designed to lock me into the deal. It felt manipulative and left me feeling cornered, rather than confident in the decision I was making. When it came time to inspect the home, it wasn’t even 100% finished, and the closing package wasn’t installed. This is something you’d expect from amateurs, not a supposedly reputable builder. To make matters worse, the quality of materials was shockingly poor. Cheap labor and cost-cutting were evident in every corner of the house. It’s clear Richmond is saving money on details that matter most, sacrificing quality for their bottom line. The gap in communication throughout the process made everything even worse. Getting answers to basic questions felt like pulling teeth. There was no transparency, no accountability, and certainly no sense of customer care. It seemed their sole focus was cashing in and banking profits, with zero regard for the buyer’s experience or satisfaction. I’ve spent countless nights regretting this decision. What should have been a proud moment in my life has turned into a constant source of disappointment and stress. Richmond Homes has failed on every level, specially quality. ... More
