Our first view of the models in Rio Rancho and the excellent customer service provided by Geraldine had us sold. She was very professional and went through several scenarios with us so we understood options. She suggested that we visit models located in another community so we could physically see the model we wanted to make sure we loved it before we committed. She is definitely an asset to Richmond American. Once the build was started we met with Mike and Chris throughout the process and they were extremely approachable, knowledgeable and answered our many questions along the way. When there were issues they were there to assist. Their communication skills and knowledge are invaluable for anyone under their care that is buying a Richmond American home. Richmond has been responsive to our questions and or concerns. Sales rep Aaliyah was great and responded to our questions in a timely manner and had extensive knowledge of the product. After closing with Matt who provided an extensive tour of our new home and his knowledge and experience was a great help to us. Richmond has been responsive in following up with small repairs after closing. Definately would purchase with them again.

From start to finish, we had a great experience with Richmond Homes. Don and Jason were great to work with, and very responsive to our questions.

From the first meeting with the sales person Mike to the walk throughs with the construction super Tom, the process has been smooth and easy. They addressed all my questions and even after closing, they have helped with questions and concerns. I’ve had a few new build homes and by far this has been the best experience.

We had a great buying experience. Our salesperson LeAnn was fantastic. Our builder Dylan took our home inspection report and our punchlist and every item was fixed prior to closing. Since closing, our warranty rep Ashland has been amazing as well. all requests are promptly scheduled and she even texts to make sure the trades show up and do the repairs on the day they are scheduled. Excellent service all around. We also feel the value we got from Richmond exceeded other builders in the immediate vicinity. Would recommend this builder highly.

My experience purchasing and moving into my Richmond home has been overall positive, though there were a few things along the way that future buyers should be aware of. From the initial purchase through move-in, the process moved forward with steady communication and coordination. Casey worked very well with my real estate agent and helped keep things organized and progressing, which made a big difference throughout the process. The quality and value of the home have been solid overall. Like most new construction, a few items came up during inspections that needed attention, but the team worked through them. Dustin and the crew who prepared the home after inspections really put in the effort to make sure the items identified were addressed before move-in and that the home was ready. After moving in, the warranty support has been especially impressive. Nick from the warranty team has been exceptional about making sure anything that needs fixing is handled in a timely manner. Having someone responsive and willing to follow through gives a lot of peace of mind as a homeowner. There are a few things I would encourage future buyers to understand ahead of time. In my case, the home ended up being listed at a value above the appraisal after the bid process, and the builder would not reduce the price. Because of that, I would strongly recommend making sure the price aligns with the appraisal before placing a deposit so there are no surprises later in the process. It is also helpful to know that the financing system initially requires buyers to purchase insurance through their banking process, although you can switch it later if you choose. Additionally, the mortgage may be transferred to a different bank shortly after closing, sometimes without much direct communication, so being prepared for that can help avoid confusion. Overall, several members of the team made the experience better by being responsive and working to resolve issues when they came up. Richmond American Homes has some of the most functional, efficient designs, and desirable upgrade options of the builders we visited. My purchase experience with RAH was quick, to-the-point (and no sale games). Everyone was very professional to work with. RHA team was very thorough in the after-sale follow-ups to make sure we have all questions answered, and our new home is as complete as can be.

It was worth the purchase

I had a realtor, which made it easy to narrow my search down before I even started. We met with the office and the sales people were great. Andrew and my realtor helped me get my family in before the New year!

The entire process was stressful, especially with the loan process and narrowing down options to the house we settled on. Overall I am satisfied with the price of the home and quality of the home as well.

First time home owner. I have heard good things about Richmond home from my family members that owned home that was build from Richmond for 20 years so I decided to give Richmond a try by start looking at their build which I finally found one and fall in love with the home and love the floor plan. We decided to go ahead with the deal and got the good APR from Richmond. The constructors help up with the walk through process and make it easy on repair minor issue.

Rosemary was amazing and helpful throughout the entire home buying experience. Rosemary kept me in the loop at all times and met all issues that arose head on.

So this is not a custom home. I bought one already built so didn't even get to pick finishes. I think its a nice 'hood so far and this house is a great value in this market. Was very easy working with Theresa in sales, very knowledgeable and nice to deal with. Seems to be decently built. As with any spec home, attention to minor details could be better but overall there were no big issues to fix before closing, mostly just drywall and paint touch-ups. Since moving in I've had a couple mechanical issues (manufacturer issues mostly) and Krystal has been quick to get the repairs scheduled and done. In this day and age good service and value for money are hard to come by. But I found them bith here. ... More

My sale guy was great love his attention to detail and willingness to help out they have great homes nice area minutes from local restaurants grocery store in hose school plus nice and peaceful parks the hose like every other house you will find imperfections but all minors one all in great home

With this gorgeous home its fit for a family raising kids. It is my first time and I didn't feel uncomfortable because everything was explained. So, I appreciate all that was involved.

During our first visit to the sales office, we were greeted by Brooks and Michelle. Both were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and available during AND after the sale. We really appreciated all of the communication and follow-ups. They really made our home purchasing experience a breeze! Then, a week before closing, we had our walkthrough with superintendent Jesse. It was a very detailed walkthrough, a lot more than I had expected. He pointed out things that I never would've thought of. That was very much appreciated! During the next few days, he had all those little things squared away. At our 30 day walkthrough, Jesse was extremely quick and helpful at reaching out to the various contractors to address the items needing attention. The whole team was phenomenal from start to finish, and beyond! Communication and follow through during the whole process was/is so helpful and appreciated. My home buying experience with Richmond homes was amazing from the first time that I met Chuck, he took the time to help me find the house that I was looking for an even helped me make a few changes along the way. Me being retired military, and coming back home to Maryland was so exciting and overwhelming at the same time to buy a new build home. I was kept up-to-date as the process was going through and even receive photos. I had the opportunity to have a pre-walk-through with Dave, and then a final walk-through with him just to make sure everything looked the way I expected it and explain all the things in the home. ...
