We have been in the house for a little over a month and items are still not complete. In fairness, it is the holiday season and there is a lot going on but some of the items that could have been easily fixed or completed have not been completed. We have a good relatioinship with the team and they have been available for any 'must fix now' items. Looking forward to completing the warrenty work.

The experience was good, knowing how hard it is to finalize on a house.

The entire process was great. There were things that needed to be corrected, however, Richmond Homes made all that were needed/requested. Jessi and Denny were amazing to work with and on the lending side Erin and her Team were fantastic. We have lived in our new home for a month now and love it! Thank you Richmond Homes for building a quality home at an affordable price! We are so grateful and feel so blessed!

Our sales rep was amazing! She did everything to help us find the home we want and worked great with our relator to help negotiate in the things that really made us love this house more! Our sales rep went above and beyond to help us out when there were discrepancies with closing costs and other things.

When we first drove into the beautiful new subdivision being built by Richmond American Homes, we didn't expect to drive away with a home. Sales person in office lied to us from the start which forced us to purchase the home we bought which wasn't our preferred location by telling us many many people had offers on the model home with the same floor plan, as they had accepted an offer on the model & had back up offers. Come to find out it was a lie as even a month later once we moved in, then two months later the model home is still for sale.

Best customer service experience!! Vernice, Tyanna, Steven, and Jen were exceptional. They tended to my family's needs and were very professional. They held our hand every step of the way. I recommend this team to whomever is buying a home.

This Home Buying Experience was As horrible as I think they come. This is Due to a failure at the lowest level to the Supers inability to follow through on their own check list, To the sales agent who has never contacted me after the purchase date/ To the Contractors and Subs who completed the shotty work. The first issue came when winter came and tried to blow out the sprinklers the home builders excavators did not properly install my shut off valve and in order to turn that off and on I have to call the county/ Refused to fix. My shingles were not connected to roof and had no paper flew off in a small windstorm, repair was completed by their repair guys who also inspected their own work and said no other issues and as i soon learned after the 8 inch snow storm and a new leak at covered sliding patio door that was not the case, as i am not a roof guy I hired an inspector who discovered it was improperly installed- Refusing to repair warranty is., Had a inspector to verify and of course out of 203 inspected items 30 items who discovered. Subfloors have holes in them after carpet was took out by their own floor guys I was advised not covered by warranty, but they would fix it - After over $3000/00 for supplies and install the floor doesn't have holes but the slope is still there also detected by home inspector. The furnace has a condensation leak, Things were not secured properly, Warranty advised do not fill out warranty request online just tell the warranty rep and she would fix it. Brad will make your new home buying experience a joy. He is helpful, thorough and very responsive. The team made the experience very pleasant and I am very happy with the final result. Lots of material choices at the design studio with reasonably priced upgrades.

Extremely dirty inside and out. Walls way out of square, paint rubs off of the walls with ease. Paint all over the exterior windows. Electrical outlets not connected. Would never purchase another home with this builder.

The sales person Lia was excellent to deal with. The construction manager was responsive 90% of the time of the time but still could not for full fill my request to fix the many issues. The limited features provided at this price point was extremely disappointing. The laundry is on the first floor away from all the bedroom, not practical or convenient. There are useless upper and lower cabinets in the Master bedroom. A terrible waste of space and functionality. No under cabinet lighting in the kitchen! At this price point you would expect that at a minimum!

I love the layout..Good material.all my family and friends love the design.Very nice house.

Where do I start? On my escrow closing day, I got 4 remote controls for 2 garages. 2 worked and the other 2 did not work. I immediately notified the sales office, who assured me someone would be by to rectify that issue. Over a month later, still have not seen anyone at my door to rectify the issue. This needs to be remedied. During the final walk through I noticed 30-40 scuff marks on the primary bath shower floor. Gustavo assured me it was part of the pattern. I have the design book, there are no black marks in the primary shower tile. This needs to be remedied. Why put a tankless water heater in a 2800+ sq ft house that doesn't have a recirculating pump? No hot water on the one side of the house. I had to replace it for $2000 so that I could get hot water in my kitchen and the multi-gen suite. The top drawer in the primary bath has to be pulled out with a lot of force. It also does not slow-close like all the other drawers in the house. This needs to be remedied. The top row of tile in the primary bath has a broken tile. This needs to be remedied. Multiple bathroom faucets are loose and move around a lot. This needs to be remedied. The front yard landscaping was crap from the start. Still is. I will have to pay to have that fixed. The toilets are cheap. I will be replacing them (3 of them). The "free" washer and dryer may have been GE, but they were the bottom of the barrel for sure. I had to replace them. The garbage disposal had screws and paint in it when we did the final walk through. While my plumber was installing a loop for the circulating pump, water began to leak from the garbage disposal. The upper ring was not secured on the garbage disposal. The electricity in the kitchen and multi-gen suite have tripped off several times. I get bit (by electricity) multiple times a day in the house. There is a ground/neutral issue in this house and when my house burns down, I will hold Richmond American Homes responsible. The driveway lip is cracked and broken. Gustavo told me to put on a request to have it fixed. This is what I have found in just 35 days. I cannot imagine what waits for me going forward. Overall, I would say I’m pretty pleased with Richmond American. We love our house and our neighborhood. Our sales associate was upfront and communicated well with us. I wish I didn’t have to use their lender, but that was the deal that we had to make to get a great rate. The initial and final walk-through of our house were excellent and everything was fixed and addressed. A few minor issues after that a call to the warranty hotline and they responded quickly. I have to say I’m impressed with Richmond, especially when it comes to the quality of the build and the service. Would definitely buy again and would definitely Buy in Abrams point. ... More

Over all not to bad. Still have a hand full of small things that need to be fixed

After weeks of negotiating with the realtor for Richmond American homes we were finally ready to commit. On Thursday we had been in touch all day and I finally sent a text saying we were ready to go to contract. The realtor should have called me at that time and secured my earnest deposit He didn’t respond until the next morning by which time the price of the house had been raised 5k and no amount of proof that he was in the wrong made a bit of difference. We were fixed to pay the increase in price. He took the earnest deposit within a very short amount of time. Totally unfair selling practices ... More

The paint contractor did a horrible job and cleaned his paint brushes in the kitchen sink! All the doors in the house have issues with paint splatters and don’t look like they were cleaned or sanded before painting. Upstairs bathroom has a piece on the bottom of the door coming off (can’t be replaced because it was seen at walk through! Puddling water between the houses.

I had a great experience with Richmond American Homes, specifically with the sales associate Todd and the builder Chris. They were very helpful with everything I needed. This was my first time buying a home, and they made sure to educate me and guide me through the entire process, making the transaction smooth. The financial team also did a great job. If you are a first-time homebuyer, you should definitely consider them. Whatever they told me at the start was exactly what I spent and received in the end.
