The appliances were great also the floor plan and front yard and irrigation and plants. Driveway very nice. Great view. The painting and wall work were below standard. very sloppy and not done w care. Looked like very rushed job. Hose to vent dryer missing. Windows filthy. The house itself was delivered ok. The workmanship was less than stellar. When we did the final walkthrough we placed lots of blue tape but maybe 10% was fixed and then the clean up was terrible. When you move into a new home you shouldn’t have to clean up before moving in. We found lots of drywall dust in wall and trim throughout the home. The front door looks terrible with bubbling paint and streaks. The painters were sent back but it looks worse now. When we did the 30 day checkup she assured us that it will be taken care of. I really like the home but the little things make it hard to be happy about paying so much for a house. When everything is completely taken care of then I’m sure I will feel better about things. ... The home is good, but my buying experience is not great. My home was not ready with the occupancy certificate on the date of closing. Builder suggested me to close it on that day and get the keys next or the following day. But I didn't agree to this, so we ended up in closing the home two days after the actual closing date, of-course end up in redoing some of the paper work and end up in taking other day time off for closing which is not good. Sales team, supervisor and finance team are all supportive and moved the closing date to later date smoothl to reduce my burden which is good. Another thing is, the sales team revealed my details to one of my mutual friend and am really surprised to see why the sales team revealed my details to the other new buyer. ... More

Superintendent was rude and not polite

You are getting a nice, quickly built new construction home, but ... the appliances are crazy cheap and garage walls move when opening and closing the side door. What other quality issues exist under the surface?

It’s was a good experience. Few minor issues that have been taken care of.

Everyone has been busy here, clearly taking on a lot of work. I have seen this before in new home construction. Things get overlooked, not done at all, or flat forgotten about. I am thankful for James, our warranty contact, as he has done a lot for us. We have a long way to go to be fully happy, but we will get there. Praise The Lord for everyone’s hard work here, before, during, and after the builds.

Our overall experience was positive. There were some issues with communication and trustworthiness on resolving issues on our new home

The overall home buying experience was great with the exception of completion of the final walkthrough punch list. We live up north and Candice our Sales Agent kept us appraised of progress and sent pictures throughout the process. She was extremely helpful in coordinating things for us being our "boots on the ground". I was disappointed having to come back down to the house after the final walkthrough only to find several items not completed. As of this writing, we still have a few things not completed and haven't even been scheduled yet. I'm hopeful when we move in, we'll be able to get these items completed quickly. ... More

Try to accomplish to take care of pending issues before closing. You don’t loose anything for asking for upgrade. Take extra family with you to inspect and hire a private inspection firm. Check bathrooms and plumbing upstairs and in crawl space. All the air vent installation of attached properly.check laundry area. We are missing insulation in bump out window spaces, found big 7 holes in the beam for blown insulation hose and they forgot and left it open. Warranty rep scheduled many contractors and she is nowhere to be found. Found cracks in garage concrete floor right after the closings(we were rushed out pre closing walkthrough)now they are giving us cold shoulder. Because it’s not covered after the closing. But our sales rep and project managers were above and beyond to help us purchase this home. ... More

Great pair of dudes here. This is my first home and although the process was overwhelming at times, these two gentlemen made it a little better. Overall I have enjoyed our new home. Some issue still to be dealt with but I know the team will get them done. The one thing I will say is training needs to be done on the sprinkler systems. We could have avoided some issues with a better review of the equipment. Jim even came by to address an issue and still didn’t get it resolved. That’s my only complaint. Scott was great to work with and was always responsive to our requests. He cared more about our experience than our real estate agent. Walkthrough items didn't get completed before our move in date and we are still working through some issues. Overall, it is a good house and we are happy. Quality is not as we anticipated since their models looked much better than any other local builders.

The sales agent started out well but in the end was snippy. With this company you won't be treated like a customer so don't expect it. I wouldn't recommend them to friends and family for customer service nor the way construction issues. House hasn't settled so that excuse for the current issues is null. The home is beautiful but the service turnaround is slow.

There are some quality and workmanship issues that still need to be addressed after 7 or so weeks of ownership. I'd like to hear updates, perhaps once a week, but communication has been unreliable. There are some design issues which we will work around and some that will require some sort of redesign to make acceptable.

Make sure that EVERYTHING is fixed or finished BEFORE you sign the closing papers. Because after that nothing gets fixed.

The superintendent Eric was excellent. Very thorough and responsive.

Mina has been responsive and takes care of all of my concerns.

Everything went smoothly. Some things were not taken care and at a few points, felt rushed, but overall, a good experience.

Overall price and layout of the place wasn't bad. Only major issue is drywall, paint and uneven walls seems to be pretty bad. Even stuff that I had marked on the walkthrough before purchasing the home they had attempted to fix but still did a poor job.

I am please with the model I purchased. It is beautiful and spacious. My only problem is that construction discrepancies and defects really have not been corrected promptly. Had there been a bit more attention to detail and quicker response I would have awarded a higher score.

Selena the sales agent was very knowledgeable and very helpful with the buying process she made it very easy and put all my worries aside

Richmond did a great job on this house. Our salesman and construction super were great to work with. We still paid too much for the house but needed a place to live:(

Love my home however we did 2 walkthroughs prior to close to make a list of things that needed to be addressed. None of those things have been addressed. Despite the “ warranty” I cannot get anyone to answer me. I have called, put work orders in and I am ignored. I have a door that won’t even close! Overall I do love my house but do not sign closing documents until everything is correct. You will never hear from them again

Workmanship and the details get lost in these new homes. 30 day check in never happened. Still need things fixed and addressed.

The buying process was fairly easy and straight forward. Sales people are on top of any questions and will work with you to make you happy. The quality of workmanship is probably my biggest pain point. I've experienced far worse, but for a new property, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. Once you're moved in to the house you see the quality is on the lower end. Trim is just badly done. Rough wood cuts & edges everywhere. Drywall texture is randomly splattered in the weirdest places, Lot's of paint splatter on the floors. The flooring is really cheap. The placement of electrical outlets and switches are un-intuitive, and there's no lighting in bedrooms. The foundation has settled and shifted enough in the last couple months that many of the doors don't close correctly. And the sub-flooring is creaking everywhere. I only expect it to get worse and it will have to be dealt with after replacing the cheap flooring in a couple years. The neighborhood is really nice. Great location with easy access to the Mountains and Downtown. Views are great too! ... More
