Overall, I had a great experience with Richmond homes. The closing process was a little clunky and it seemed as soon as I sent in documents I requested more documents were requested. It would’ve been nice to have a checklist of every document required for closing so that I could just turn everything in at once. Other than that things went well

The floor plans and lots are nice. The sales agents seldom gave updates, and was very hands off and everything was “out of their control”. There were frequent delays, communicated last minute, with vague reasons give. The day before closing, we were told it was delayed, yet again. The day before closing! Several rollover items from the final walk are still incomplete. Several new work orders after move in are still incomplete, going on over a month.

I walked the home with our sales associate Beverly and our realtor and immediately fell in love with the layout. The home was at the top of our price point, but had everything we were hoping to find in a home. Beverly and our build team updated us each week on the progress (we were living out of state) with pictures and information about what was being done at that time. During our orientation, everything was explained in thorough detail to us, and great advice was given to help us take care of our brand new home. The fixtures and included appliances aren’t great quality, but they get the job done for the time being. Karyn was great at helping is select our home, took care of any questions and helped with the buying process.

All the items identified in our inspection were not addressed. I don’t believe any of them other than very easy paint blemishes were fixed before closing. None of our appliances were connected except the dishwasher and stove. My backyard washed away on the first rain after we moved in.

There was no one present for walkthrough or closing. We were alone. We had a great sales associate initially but when she left , the experience became worse. We felt alone and w had to constantly follow up on the process. Items in the home are still not complete. I would not recommend Richmond to anyone.

Easily the worst home I’ve ever purchased. From quality of materials, craftsmanship, and customer service. Buy elsewhere.

Our experience in richmond american is great! As a first time home buyers they provided us great time, options and informations that we needed in buying a house. The salesman that assisted us was HENRY, he is one of the best, he is so accommodating and welcoming. So willing to answers all our concerns and inquiries, assisted us all through out the process. The builder was nice and walk us through the house orientation and made few corrections only. Over all experience was great. We love our house we love everything in it! Thank you richmond!

So far everything has been great! Stacey our realtor was amazing! Hector has been great too. Although we are still waiting for things that the builders didn’t fix before we moved in.

We are completely pleased with the workmanship of our new home. However, we were not satisfied with our Richmond American agent. This individual was not forthcoming with the process and changing information. We would get information from our lender before we would the Richmond agent.

The builder used cheap materials in building this home, workmanship is really bad. i expected more for the amount that i paid for this house.

Horrible from start to finish! Everything was wrong and communication was poor never will I ever buy or recommend a Richmond American home.

We purchased this move in ready home as part of a 1031 exchange. From the sales person, superintendent, and warranty contact they all did an exceptional job in communicating and exceeding expectations. They did a great job in inspecting and correcting any workmanship that had to be touched up.

Overall experience its been good. The customer service from Terin is excellent, if the whole review would be based on her service, we would do a 5-star review. She went above and beyond for our family to get the house. Luke also has been great at honoring his word and fixing what he says he’s going to get fixed. The quality of products used isn’t the best but so far house it’s holding up. Future homeowners should do a thorough inspection, even if needed to be paid out of pocket to do so. Before moving in, they fixed everything right away. Once you moved in everything is through warranty.

Brenda did an amazing job with our purchasing experience. She made our experience extremely helpful. The conversation with the lending teams were very difficult as we were trying to line out the mortgage. One or 230 minute zoom calls would have made the experience much easier. Raf throughout the blue tape walks and our entire purchasing experience. The construction team was updating or fixing items ongoing, which was super helpful. It helped us feel heard.

The American Home that I bought is beautiful and I love it of course the model had all the nice things in it. One of my pet pees is the master bathroom has no linen closet one linen closet in a three bed room house. The dish washer was not working their was a lot of blame to go around the GE to the builder no one was responsible two weeks later no dish washer it was the builder crew who did not hook it up also GE came out and they could not see what the problem was and it's there product.

The timeline promised was definitely met and delivered.

We moved in about 5 weeks ago. Rob was very helpful during the purchase. Carlos has been wonderful in addressing minor issues that need attention. He communicates very well and we are very appreciative of that. Cris has been great and helping us with our yard. We had a plant die in the front yard and it has already been replaced. Everyone has been very nice and our home is beautiful.

I feel like I was misled when some of the things that I called out during my walk-through were promised to be fixed before I close after receiving my keys as well as living in the home for 75 days some of the issues that I called out during the walk-through are still issues. And after moving in and asking for items to be fixed, promise that they would come out the next couple days nobody ever showed up still currently working on getting these issues resolved as well as building supplies a lot of scrap material left in the garage which I had to take to the dump and pay to dispose myself From brackets to handrails to scrap wood all just left in the garage for me to take care of. I had a great experience from the moment I contacted Richmond American Homes, to the tour of homes, and the buying process. Sharolynn was exceptional and we were extremely impressed by her! We used their mortgage lender which was frustrating at times with the back and forth of information that had to be sent multiple times, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Love the craftsmanship of the home. When we did the walk through they were very thorough which I appreciated. Thank you!

It’s been a pleasure buying my second Richmond home, my first Richmond home is in Ontario California. The quality is there and craftsmanship is there. The first home was a little bit of a challenge in the financial part of the transaction, but the second was a lot smoother. If I could have changed a few things it would be an upgrade on the paint and carpet. Everything else is exactly what it should be and more . Very pleased with our choice in our purchase.

We are absolutely obsessed with our new home. our sales agent was Jim & he was the best. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our first time building a house!
