the framing, plumbing, eletrical, roofing was completed to the highest degree of professionalism. Inside trades were not up to the same standards. Warped walls inside, plumbing hardware elements that don't work, mismatch plumbing hardware, paint issues, grout inconsistencies on backsplash, etc were indicative of lower quality standards. Lastly, we paid $23K for a side turn garage as an optional add on. We were happy to do so. It was INCREDIBLY disappointing to learn upon possession of the house that a garage door opener was NOT included at that price. This is just another "finish" that was lacking in this build. ... More

First off, the house itself is very nice. The floor plan is awesome, the materials aren’t bad. It’s a very welcoming home. However, 1 month later. The screen door has popped off, the locks wouldn’t lock from the beginning, no body has came and fixed it. Our garage door opens our neighbors and our front door handle is coming lose. The home buying was incredibly frustrating. The loan process took way too long. Our loan officer Deacon kept us updated as much and as well as he could. From getting told “we’d close tomorrow” to it being delayed 4 weeks because of reasons I have never heard of. I purchased a new Richmond home 30 years ago. The quality of the home then was was great. I can't say the same today. The appliances are unbelievably bad. Home builders are saving money by installing "contractor grade" items in the home. If they offered to let us upgrade to something better during the construction process, that would be fine, but they do not let you upgrade anything. When you walk through the model homes, the appliances and upgrades you see are what you would get months and months ago. When they cut costs, they didn't remodel the models so you can see what you'll actually get. ... More

Overall a very easy process getting in the door. After close though, we have reached out a couple times trying to get rollover items and inspection issues addressed with no response. To be fair we have only tried communicating directly and have not gone through warranty. The issues are also minor, primarily being paint touch ups.

Travis and Austin were amazing through the whole experience and I hope that everyone gets to have the same experience I had. They were able to answer any questions I had and continue to have even after closing. I will recommend Richmond Homes to anyone that is seeking a new home.

The process purchasing a new build home was easier than I thought it would be. Our sales rep, Solita was wonderful. She has a wealth of experience and made our home buying experience truly memorable. Solita was very responsive and addressed all of our questions and concerns. I love our new home. It is exactly what we wanted in our forever home. Once you see your dream home you can’t say no! I found a home and neighborhood that I can enjoy now and retire in. My Richmond American Home was in a thoughtfully planned new community, was a tremendously beautifully designed home made of quality energy-efficient products and building material, and included an overall great end-to-end sales, purchase, loan, and warranty experience. Something could have been done better.

Bought from out of state. Did not fully understand the promotional incentive conditions.

The initial process was a bit confusing, but as we moved forward, we understood the process and allowed it to run its course, and we are grateful and thankful that we did, because the home is everything my wife and I ever wanted in a home, and we are so overwhelmed with joy and happiness that it's crazy! The home is extremely beautiful, and we have no faults or complaints about anything pertaining to the builders or what they promise to deliver. They were always present, available, and knowledgeable whenever we had questions or concerns. For me the finish work before moving in was not good. The attention to detail was poor as we had to have cabinets re worked patch work and painting still in progress and cleaning before move in was very poor. Still waiting for work on the fence and gate and paint repair on facia board. I know we have a year to get all these things corrected but who ever is responsible for making sure everything is in order should slow down and take more pride in the finished product as this represents Richmond Homes.

Working with Richmond staff was a great experience. Even after I purchased my home, Laura, Josh, Joy, David and Caryn have kept and open door to assisting me with whatever I need. I really love my home and the locations. And the view of the mountains still blows my mind.

So happy to finally have the house that we'll enjoy for many years

Sale was smooth and accommodating. Good value for the dollar. Appearance and design are attractive. Inspections were on time and through. Follow up was punctual. The only major ongoing issue was silt in the water supply that created appliance operation problems that could have perhaps been cleared up much earlier in the installation with careful, timely flushing of the water supply before installation of appliances. Yard and rear ditch drainage issues (erosion) are an ongoing problem. These have been attended to but not remediated.

During the punch walk , we found issues and later some of the things were fixed but not all, had to wait a month because the kitchen drawer was never attached and my mom fell back and hurt herself, another was the kitchen knob, all has been resolved except for the dead tree on the front yard, that should’ve been and still should be replaced by Richmond, but myself and kids love our new home.

Waterford ranch is a beautiful subdivision to buy a home and I found my home ..Scott was so wonderful and pleasant to work with and helped us to get the house and he did and we are so lucky and grateful to be ready to move in Our slate lot 83

Buying the home in Roseville was great,from the beginning Brandon was Amazingly informative, and made the Buying experience easy and pleasant. The loan team was great too, Chris was awesome to work with also made the loan streamline and was always in contact with me and answered all my questions. Mitch was of great help too... thanks to all of you for your awesome work. Will definitely recommend-Abel

Brandon was harder to get ahold of than the president of the United States. I felt that when myself or my wife would reach out, it was an inconvenience to him. Really made the process difficult and not enjoyable especially it being our first home. Shirley is an absolute angel. Very helpful and easy to talk to!

I wouldn’t recommend buying a house with Richmond American. This has been the worst experience ever to buy a house. There was absolutely no verbal communication from finance at all. Every time I called no one answered the phone. They would barely communicate through email. I feel that they did not walk us through the process and nothing was explained. When I threatened to pull out of deal the communication was worse. Nothing was thoroughly explained from the beginning to the end. I had to come out of more money at day of closing because it wasn’t explained to me. The title company explained more to me than anyone in Richmond American. Allot of walk thru items are still not corrected and the quality of the build is very cheap compared to what was paid for the house. I would not recommend anyone buying from Richmond American. ... Not all the items addressed at the final walkthrough were fixed. Not all the items purchased were delivered at the day of closing. Not feedback from construction regarding roll over items. Customer Service is too busy to prompt respond to requests.

It is a pleasure working with the sales representative and the construction superintendent! They are very knowledgeable, helpful and responsive! We love our beautiful home for sure!

Beautiful homes and neighborhood as the title suggests. We bought our first home in NV and coming from the east coast. Little issues here and there but took the home care team 3-6 weeks to resolve the issues. Shower rod for 1 of our bathrooms was forgotten and didn’t get to use it for almost 1 month until I called Corporate Center. Otherwise we’ve been happy with our purchase.

Everyone from Holly, salesperson the finance people, Insurance people and warranty people were all very professional and very eager to get the whole move done as seamless as possible! Very happy!!
