Good plans! Workmanship is poor. And supervision of construction. Very poor. I still have issues that I need to now try to get fixed on my time. I’ll be by the grace of God to get these things done. Not to mention some of the main construction there’s issues. I still may have to take things up to the Better Business Bureau.

We love the floor plan. They were flexible with our requirements for closing. Has taken a couple of months to resolve all the build issues. None were overly major, but a lot of small things add up. There was also a disclosure issue surround the totally unnecessary HOA, whose existence and terms were not provided until after we closed.

Great experience overall. The value for the home was perfect. Material quality of the house was to be expected. After moving in door knobs and lights fell off. Paint a little sloppy after noticing being there for awhile. Overall, I would work with Richmond again.

This was the worst experience of my life. I would never buy from Richmond American Homes again, once you close and pay that’s it your pretty much on your own. The amount of shortcuts they used is unbelievable, we are selling our home and OK with taking a hit the experience has been that bad. No follow up from the Executive Management.

Overall my experience with Richmond American has been alright. In the beginning, my sales associate through Richmond Casey was great. He went down step by step through the process and what I would be needed to do and what I should expect throughout this process. He sold me on being very intuitive and putting a personal touch on all aspects of the home buying process and he'd be there will us every step of the way. Turns out 2 months before closing, Casey just ghosted us basically and left my wife and I to practically fend for ourselves. He should probably change his sales pitch. For all of ...

They were able to work with us and get everything ready a week early so we could close on our new home. That matched up with the closing on our old home. They were very helpful and worked extra hard to make poor transition as easy as possible.

paint splatter all over the new vinyl floor. garage was used to mix paint without using a drop cloth. i assumed when they turned over the house the garage floor would be cleaned. it was left a mess. 90% of the garage floor covered in paint splatter. customers shouldnt have to point out the obvious mess. workers take no pride in caring for the new home. noticed scratches on counter tops from tools. cabinet drawers misaligned. The electrician on the other hand took pride in his work. noticed all wall outlet screws were all aligned. small things do get noticed.

Chris the Superintendent made me feel like a valued customer through his white glove service and follow up/follow through post close items. I have had a seamless home buying experience and they truly go above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. This was a great starter home and I absolutely love the floorspace of my Chicago Floorplan especially upstairs. I feel I purchased a great Floorplan with views at a fair market price.

Probably the worst experience dealing with them to call back or follow up on items that need repairing. Would never buy a house from them. I moved in 3 months ago never got my repairs done from the first initial walk through. They said they where going to do a 30 follow I called them after 2 1/2 months. They came out and looked at the items from the first walk through and crickets again. Still waiting sucks when you spend 1/2 of million on a house and customer service sucks.

So many things didn’t get done before house as sold. Now we have to be home in order to get repairs done that should have happened before we moved in. Sub contractors trying to get away with mistakes and covering them up, and Richmond is not holding them accountable until after we complain about it. Then we have to take time off of work to be home so they can come back and fix it correctly. Mike treated us like we were idiots and refused to listen to us, even though time and time again we were proven correct. I haven’t met a neighbor yet that is happy with Mike or the process, and we have met ...

I have to say I was skeptical after we were in the process and I began looking up reviews, but I can say everything went smoothly. The house was a few months later than originally estimated. Our walks were thorough and everything that was marked was fixed. And a few minor things we’ve noticed since being here a few weeks have been promptly taken care of by our rep. All the trades workers have been polite and professional. Overall; I really have not complaints. We would buy another RA home.

Everyone we worked with at Richmond was kind, informative and very responsive. They went out of their way to make sure every detail of our new home was to our liking. Tom even found minor issues that we missed and took the initiative to correct them on his own. Our new home is beautiful and even the smallest of details were designed and built to be over the top impressive. The quality of our new home is superb and the entire experience from start to close was seamless, enjoyable and informative. We would gladly purchase another home from Richmond!
