My home buying experience with Richmond homes was amazing from the first time that I met Chuck, he took the time to help me find the house that I was looking for an even helped me make a few changes along the way. Me being retired military, and coming back home to Maryland was so exciting and overwhelming at the same time to buy a new build home. Spending time for first walk-through and make sure all issues taking care of without any exceptions. Otherwise you will be spending lot of time after escrow closed

If you have rollover items and repairs that need to be made before closing, don’t sign until they are completed. I was promised they would be fixed and we are well over a month out from closing, my issues are still unresolved. Warranty claims disappear into thin air as well.

My process of purchasing a new home was made easy by the professional teams at every level. From early November finding my new home to settlement in early December, everyone was very helpful at each phase. I would recommend this team to all my friends looking for a new home.

The only wrinkle in an otherwise smooth end-to-end buying process was - in my view - the extreme amount of documentation required by the preferred mortgage lender. I joked with my friends that at times it felt like I was going to need to provide them stool, urine, and blood samples! Even so, I would highly recommend RAH to prospective homebuyers - my home is virtually perfect for me!

My wife and I were looking for some remodeling ideas for our house and decided to visit the Settler’s Crossing community. Audra was incredible! She allowed use to browse the house long enough for my wife to fall in love with it, then answered every one of my million questions. I would have given 5 stars for overall experience but Richmond American Homes’ mortgage company was a nightmare to do business with. The house and Richmond’s attentiveness to issues is excellent

It's good experience with Richmond American Home as the Design lay-out suitable to modern home. I understand the material related with cost saving that's added to the value, But the workmanship is lag of attention to the detail. I trust Richomand American Homes builder, and would suggest the after sale also needed some attention.

When I toured this home, it immediately met ALL the items on my must-have list! It seemed providential! My mom had purchased a Richmond American townhome years ago and I remember the high quality, so I went into this experience expecting the same. I was not disappointed. The sales rep, John, was the icing on the cake! He made the entire process so smooth and pleasant! I love my new home!

Quality home, well built. Community mail boxes built 4 months before I closed. Still not functional so I get to drive 8 miles to the post office once a week to get my mail. This is just unacceptable.

After the final walk thru we had 8 items to fix. No one came back to do the work. We had to fix the items ourselves.

This was a great home buying experience. Everything they did for us exceeded expectations to the max. Highly recommend these folks.

The only 2 shining stars in this process have been our sales rep Frank and the construction foreman assistant Raul. Frank really went above and beyond for us, was always very responsive and genuinely kind. Raul had sympathy for our issues and was very responsive and pleasant. The quality of the workmanship is completely unacceptable especially considering the price we paid for this home. It's glaringly obvious that the construction was rushed and corners were definitely cut. This transfers the frustration and responsibility directly to the owner to constantly have to put in warranty claims on things that should have been done correctly the first time. There have been so many issues from the street sign not even being spelled correctly, then the street name being spelled a third incorrect name with the USPS. Our closing was delayed by over 2 weeks because they didn't have the HOA docs ready. The community has been in construction since July, this should have been completed well before homes are done being built. We put in warranty claims and hear nothing from our warranty rep until we call him to follow up. The floors were still littered with paint spots throughout so we had to hire someone to clean them. Construction debris and spills left near entryway. The list goes on. We do appreciate the thoughtfulness in the sometimes forgotten features like outlets near the roof for holiday lights, pre-wire for EV charging, standard paver stone driveway, lights in every room, etc. ... Very helpful and friendly the experience, thanks to Richmond team, very happy with my new home

Great home BUT. Our counter is coming OFF of the wall after living here for 2 WEEKS and we were told it’s OUR problem. NO. Our stairs have 4 staples per stair facing UP. Our children have suffered cuts and bleeding from our stairs. That’s an absolutely Ridiculous and I’m sure you as a company would agree that these issues, especially children getting hurt from your stair staples, is ridiculous.

Suri Sales and Devin Builder were great to deal with. They were honest, did what they said. Very appreciative.
