Our first view of the models in Rio Rancho and the excellent customer service provided by Geraldine had us sold. She was very professional and went through several scenarios with us so we understood options. She suggested that we visit models located in another community so we could physically see the model we wanted to make sure we loved it before we committed. Our overall experience was great. Terin was exceptionally great. She was on top of every one of our needs. Worst Experience out of 6 new home purchases in my lifetime.

I would not recommend Richmond to anyone. This was the worst home buying experience of my life. I have purchased 11 homes (6 of them new) in 4 different states. Richmond was by far the worst company to deal with. The sales associate was so short handed and over-worked that he could not get back to us regarding issues. They also changed the agreed upon price after I signed all of the paperwork. Then they tried to change it one more time and they relented when I threatened to back out of the purchase. Terrible warranty execution

Contacting the warranty office is easy having someone reply and help is the hard part. Literally no communication and being ignored.

Richmond has been responsive to our questions and or concerns. Sales rep Aaliyah was great and responded to our questions in a timely manner and had extensive knowledge of the product. After closing with Matt who provided an extensive tour of our new home and his knowledge and experience was a great help to us. Richmond has been responsive in following up with small repairs after closing. Definately would purchase with them again.

We’re very happy in our new home and are pleased with the work put in to it. This was our first time building a home so we were learning along the way. Our biggest struggle was in the beginning. Buyer Beware.

On the day of my walkthrough, the electrical was not working in the kitchen, no hot water, the back fence was crushed by a tractor, screens missing and torn and so forth. The person conducting the walkthrough for Richmond had no idea of the condition of the house because Richmond did not complete a pre inspection. All this means that Richmond rushes to get you to the closing table, hoping to push you into a long post closing list. It started with being told Richmond wanted to close at the end of September. I was told at the end of the month they had no intention of doing so and the construction crew had until the end of October to finish. My family moved across country and had to live in hotels and Air BnBs paying out of pocket. From the first meeting with the sales person Mike to the walk throughs with the construction super Tom, the process has been smooth and easy. Manger Kim it is the most rude, condescending, disrespectful person I ever came across.
