Dealing with the lending team was terrible. Pre approved my loan and then canceled it a week before closing had to rush to find a lender and get everything done because I was selling my house and couldn’t back out of sale of my house.

Please pass our thanks to Riley for making it a great experience for us as complications come. He is timely, smart and professional.

Moving from Maryland was an adventure. We weren't looking for a new build but this house checked all our boxes. The buying process was good as any house buying process could be. The quality of the house is A++. We couldn't be happier with our new home. The builder notated 98% of deficiencies and had them repaired before closing. Can't say enough about the warranty process too. Very responsive and fantastic customer service.

We worked with Laura and she was fantastic, very responsive and knowledgeable. Our house was in terrific shape and every question we had during the process was answered promptly.

Likely the worst home buying experience I have had which includes 13 purchases, four of which were new builds. I thought I was moving into a move-in ready home -as that is what was advertised - and it was so very far from that. The issues that I have experienced have been blown off as things that I should expect in buying a house, but I really don’t expect so many significant defects and poor workmanship.

If you have to buy a Richmond home make sure to bring an independent company to do inspection for you. the homes are built with all cheap materials and in a mass production manner. If cheap materials are nicely put together i believe it would be a better experience. There were nails poking on the carpet and Joy & Brandon did not see anything wrong with that. Extremely over prized homes based the quality of home/house delivered. Worst exo\perience ever for me personally.

We were looking for a new house in a neighborhood that is currently under development and has multiple builders. After making multiple trips and visited all builders in the community we decided to go with Richmond. At Richmond we found the most house for the money, build quality is fantastic, lot size, sales rep Jesus went above and beyond for us, loan department as well. We made the right choice with Richmond and we couldn't be more happy.

There has been a lot of issues since buying and it seems as alll the nice people during the buying process have now disappeared or just send over a warranty link when I ask them to fix something but conveniently enough it seems like almost nothing is covered under warranty

We had a great experience buying a home with Richmond. Our team met all expectations and was ahead of schedule on our move-in date as well as fixing any issues that came up. Vincent was responsive and experienced. Sarah on the sales team gave us regular updates and helped us figure out all questions about closing. Now we're loving our new house!

Total crap. Major total crap.

When we came to look at the house, the sales rep was fully invested and responsive to questions. After pre qualifying for the loan and moving forward the communication became lack luster. after closing and moving in with issues the communication became almost nonexistent. The builder also used rocks to cover that part of the walk way has a giant gap missing in the corner, garage door seal doesn’t seal flush and can’t really be fixed, they stoped doing finished basements because of a sprinkler system. The house market is high currently and I feel as our home probably should be around 400k at most, but every house is around the price range we paid for. ... More

I enjoyed working with Hailee, Scott and Isaac. They are very kind and professional and take feedback well. I felt valued and in safe hands through the whole experience.

Overall experience was great. Holly at sales was very professional, knowledgeable and prompt. Dianna at financing was extremely helpful! I benefitted from her advices a lot during financing process. Zach (superintendent) was also very patient and thorough. So far (1 month through) haven't seen any issue yet. Value for price is reasonable but I wish you could handle the fencing like other builders. The cost could be included to the closing costs.

We loved working with Holly! She was truly amazing and very transparent throughout the whole process. Once we were building our weekly updates with Tony began and he was always very friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Once we were in the finishing stages Zack took over our weekly updates and did our walkthrough with us and also made sure things were being done properly. The team we had were great and we were very happy with our home.

I had a deeply disappointing experience working with Richmond American Homes and their mortgage services(Home American Mortgage). As a first time homebuyer, I expected guidance and support throughout the process instead, I felt completely abandoned. Calls went unanswered, my questions were ignored, and I was left to navigate complex and stressful decisions entirely on my own. This was supposed to be an exciting milestone, but instead, it became a source of anxiety and frustration. I would not recommend Richmond American to anyone, especially first time buyers who need responsiveness and transparency. We had a very easy process in buying our new home. Crystal was great to work with!! Kept us informed throughout the entire process. We couldn't be happier with our new home and the whole experience.

I did not meet the builder. However the staff that showed us the home, collected our information and provided constant assistance was awesome. Whitney, Nicole and Steve (I think that's his name. He marked all the places where minor repairs were need before we occupied the residence.

They not give you clear information and last minutes asking million questions you not expecting. Their house is not good quality any more after 2019
