It took the painter a month to come back and paint the trim they missed and the front door. Still waiting for the screen door people to come by a adjust the screen door. Waiting to hear back from dishwasher installer to come back and level the dishwasher so the door doesnt keep flying open.

They made the home buying process very easy and were true to every word, no surprises at all along the way!

We bought a spec home with a lot of imperfections including several bent and crooked walls (very obvious to see at first glance) sloppy overspray and cabinets all need adjusting. The home itself is beautiful but sloppy craftsmanship with the subs being utilized on the spec home. Customer service is doing their best to fix everything

Sales officer disappeared before closing. Obtained our keys for the model from another sales associate. Repairs still pending 4 weeks from closing. Poor quality craftsmanship on all trades. Greatly disappointed!

Quality homes and great neighborhood.

Josh was fantastic. There were a few hiccups. It wasn't a great experience but it wasn't bad. House is great. Process felt really pushy so it was annoying to have to sort of block that off a bit. Overall Josh was great. Process was mediocre from a customer service perspective. Our home is awesome.

Buying experience was very positive including the walk-thrus however items not completed remain unfinished after follow up.

Our home buying experience with Richmond American Homes leaves us with warm feelings toward this builder and its team at the Kokanee Estates community in Lake Stevens, WA. The seller realtor we worked with, the wonderful Lia, gave us all the time and attention we wanted and chased down answers to questions beyond those she already knew. We made several repeat visits to the home and Lia welcomed us in those visits. Lia worked well to make our contingency purchase happen. We are impressed with the quality of the build, and the finish of the details, of the home itself. We rave about the spacious ceilings and the one-story design that meets our desires. In a surprising turn, the builders made a shift in design just to accommodate a hope we had that was not in the plan for this particular house, a change they made at no cost to us. Richmond gave us the opportunity to finally become homeowners in our late 40s. The process was seamless and from start to finish, between sales to loan officer to underwriters, to everything in between, we couldn’t have had a better experience.

We have recently purchased a house from Richmond. We’ve had a smooth process and we’re very happy with the results. Richmond were keeping us informed about everything and explained the whole process clearly. They were being responsive and helpful. The house itself is very nice and the great material was used! We’re very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to buy a house!

It was a less expensive starter home and a quick build. You can see where corners were cut. But expected that going in. Sales rep "stretched" some details about the buying process which forced me to double check everything. Building superintendent James was great.

Because it's my first home, I really expected to have a good experience. But it's been terrible. My house came full of defects. And I have to beg for the warranty to be fixed. There were things I asked someone else to do myself because I gave up.

Still waiting for refund from purchase, have not received an update when it will happen or why it’s taking so long it’s been over 6 weeks since we took possession of the home. That is the reason why I deducted starts.

We recently purchased and moved into a new home. Overall, we like the house. Unfortunately, many of our blue tape items were not taken care of prior to moving like we were told they would be, including items that should have been resolved prior to closing. The responsiveness of the team has been less than ideal. Several of our items (broken concrete, broken screen door- to name a few) are still unresolved. We recognize we are not the only customers. However, when you purchase a home, there are certain expectations that have not been met.

Not honoring the pre closing agreement to fix the standing water, backyard useless warranty rep and manager lies nothing is fixed fraudulent tendencies. I Strongly recommend staying away

Most of the actual buying facts that we responded to were not correct or they were altered to fit Richmond Homes. We were told we were purchasing our home at 2.99 3.99 4.99, never happened. We put an additional $15,000 dollars down to qualify for all the great rates, but that dismal a difference either. We. Were quoted a price, and interest rate and payment from our sales person. They were not accurate and when we went back to question him he left quite. We had know one to help. Even though it was quoted in print it didn’t seem to matter. Rada was great to work with. She was always helpful and there when we needed anything or had any questions. Five stars to Rada.

We bought our first house and in general we are very happy. I would have like that they have spend a little extra on some of the products Special the cabinets in the kitchen, I would have prefered more draws. The light installation is fine but there is some details that could have been fixed for cost less than a $100 and I would have been happy to pay the difference. The findings we have had they ahve respond very fast and it have been a pleasure to work with them

When we first started looking at the new Westridge homes, we were greeted and treated with excellence in customer service from Abby at the sales office, it continued with HomeAmerican loan officer Shawna who guided us thru the process with ease, Steven at the home site was extremely helpful and completed the walk thru before we moved in and repaired any small items. Recently Madison went thru the 30-day walk thru, to again repairing any items that came up after a month of living in the home. We are extremely pleased how well Richmond American has taken care of us and made everything so easy. Their secure portal made submitting documentation so easy. Richmond American has made the buying process the best we have ever had, and we have bought 3 new construction homes so we know and speak from experience. I really love the home itself, but getting issues identified during inspection addressed has been a real pain. The process feels slow and frustrating, and it takes way too much follow-up to get things resolved. The house is great, but I wish the post-inspection support was smoother, more responsive and reliable.

We love the neighborhood and most aspects of the house. The employees have been top notch. The location is good and the spacing between the houses is nice and that is what enticed us to purchase. The overall quality is not great. Its obvious Richmond is mainly concerned about low costs by using cheap supplies and not finishing key rooms like the laundry room. The cement in the basement is obviously not level and you can feel it even under the carpet and pad. Speaking with neighbors they experience the same issue. This is 2025, leveling cement is not a new technology. Its clear low cost vendors were used who don't care about their work. The landscaping is cheap and its obvious it was only installed to meet the HOA standards. Putting in plants that look like weeds doesn't add to the curb appeal of the property. Mulch in key areas smells when its wet and washes away quickly. Again, another example of low cost/poor quality. Richmond needs to decide what market they want to be in moving forward. if you are going to keep selling $1.1 million homes or higher then it might serve you well to look at quality. Higher end buyers are not going to want cheap quality for that price point. If I would have known about the cheap quality, we would have looked at other home builders before Richmond. Richmond should be in the first time homebuyer market with these supplies. ... More

Experience was fantastic. Everyone involved was on top of their game. Home buying process was fast and smooth. Any minor issues that have come up since moving in have been addressed in a timely and efficient manner. And this is only the beginning, there is so much help that Richmond American offers for the first year. Would definitely buy another Richmond American Home
